Cerami (C) Condition and Mountain Pass Theorem for Multivalued Mappings
Partially supported by Sapientia Foundation. We prove a general minimax result for multivalued mapping.
As application, we give existence results of critical point of this mapping
which satisfies the Cerami (C) condition
Identification of Young Stellar Object candidates in the DR2 x AllWISE catalogue with machine learning methods
The second Data Release (DR2) contains astrometric and photometric
data for more than 1.6 billion objects with mean magnitude 20.7,
including many Young Stellar Objects (YSOs) in different evolutionary stages.
In order to explore the YSO population of the Milky Way, we combined the
DR2 database with WISE and Planck measurements and made an all-sky
probabilistic catalogue of YSOs using machine learning techniques, such as
Support Vector Machines, Random Forests, or Neural Networks. Our input
catalogue contains 103 million objects from the DR2xAllWISE cross-match table.
We classified each object into four main classes: YSOs, extragalactic objects,
main-sequence stars and evolved stars. At a 90% probability threshold we
identified 1,129,295 YSO candidates. To demonstrate the quality and potential
of our YSO catalogue, here we present two applications of it. (1) We explore
the 3D structure of the Orion A star forming complex and show that the spatial
distribution of the YSOs classified by our procedure is in agreement with
recent results from the literature. (2) We use our catalogue to classify
published Science Alerts. As measures the sources at multiple
epochs, it can efficiently discover transient events, including sudden
brightness changes of YSOs caused by dynamic processes of their circumstellar
disk. However, in many cases the physical nature of the published alert sources
are not known. A cross-check with our new catalogue shows that about 30% more
of the published alerts can most likely be attributed to YSO activity.
The catalogue can be also useful to identify YSOs among future alerts.Comment: 19 pages, 12 figures, 3 table
A Biblia „… a könyvek könyve Isten szíve dobog benne” (Gárdonyi). A verses anyaképek ikonarcúsága: szakralitás – átragyogás.
PROCJENA NEAKTIVNOSTI PROTUHRANJIVIH ČIMBENIKA OSJETLJIVIH NA TOPLINU U PUNOMASNOJ SOJI
The regular quality control on the adequacy of heat treatment of fullfat soybeans requires the application of rapid chemical methods. In the present work the trypsin inhibitor activity test and the urease test were applied on fullfat soya samples that were cooked in a pressured steam (toasted) or extruded at different temperatures and speed rates. In the case of toasting both of the results of the laboratory examinations proved that the heating was adequate, while in the case of the extruded samples the two tests gave different results. In the case of certain temperature and time combinations
the more rapid and less accurate urease test claimed that the heat treatment reached the aim, while the results of the trypsin inhibitor activity test showed that the level of the inhibitors was still high and the fullfat soya was underheated.Redovita kontrola kakvoće primjerenosti toplinskog tretiranja punomasne soje zahtijeva primjenu brzih kemijskih metoda.
Off-flavour compounds in common carp (Cyprinus carpio L.) flesh in context of type of fish pond
The aim of our study was to survey the geosmin (GSM) and 2-methylisoborneol (MIB) concentrations of the sediment and that of common carp (Cyprinus carpio) flesh in three different Hungarian fish farms (clayey, marshy, and sodic ponds).
Results showed that the concentrations of off-flavour compounds of the sediment and fish fillets were related to the natural environment. The GSM concentration of bottom soil samples was higher, than MIB in each fish farm. Both off-flavour compounds were the highest in the marshy fish pond and the lowest in the sodic pond. In case of fish flesh, significant differences were found between the farms in GSM level and fat content. In the fish flesh the same tendency was found as in the sediments, but surprisingly, MIB concentration was higher in the fillets, referring to accumulation
