E-learning at Kazan university and support for mobile technologies
General information about e-learning in KFU is described. Statistics of use of mobile platforms and web browsers in Internet in KFU and worldwide are provided. Implementation of mobile platforms support for e-learning is explained: the developed adaptive design template(HTML5) for LMS MOODLE, dedicated mobile applications for webinars, videohosting and video lectures playback issues.
Determination of optimal parameters of a moving wall on airfoil
A problem is posed and solved on determining the optimal parameters of a moving wall installed on the airfoil surface to prevent the boundary layer separation. As the wall parameters, its initial and final position and motion velocity are taken. To solve the problem, the optimization methods with penalty functions are used. The conclusions were drawn on selecting the efficient parameters of the moving wall in terms of the minimum of energy expenditure and friction drag. © 2012 Allerton Press, Inc
The quality of spring rape seeds and its dependence on the doses of mineral fertilizers under the conditions of Southern Urals
Spring rape is a high-marginal crop that can be used in different areas of the national
economy. Despite this, the area used for sowing this crop in the Russian Federation is still small,
and the quality of its seeds does not always meet the standards. The purpose of the research is to
identify the most effective doses of mineral fertilizers that allow obtaining the planned harvest of
high-quality spring rape seeds in the southern forest-steppe of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The
paper presents the results of triennial field researches (2016–2018) on the effect of mineral
fertilizers on some indicators of the quality of spring rape seeds of the Iubileynyi variety. The
research was carried out in the educational and scientific center of Bashkir State Agrarian
University (Ufa, the Russian Federation) on leached black soils of heavy loam granulometric
composition. The positive effect of calculated doses of mineral fertilizers on the object of interest
was evident. Fertilization increased the spring rape yield capacity and its oil content by
0.34–0.51 t ha-1 and 0.1–1.8%, respectively. The yield of oil per hectare also increased. The use
of fertilizers increased the content of nitrogen and potassium, averaging over three years
3.32–3.36% and 1.00–1.03%, respectively. The use of fertilizers did not significantly effect the
content of phosphorus. The content of phosphorus did not exceed 1.74–1.79%. Crude protein
content was 19.4–19.6% for researched period

Elasticity analysis of unemployed people quantity in relation to gross domestic product of Russia
The article estimates parameters of interrelation between accession rate of unemployed people quantity and gross domestic product volume in Russia on the grounds of quarterly data for 1995-2013. For estimation of model parameters the authors use the method of instrumental variable. Analysis of mutual influence of unemployed people quantity and gross domestic product increase is performed on the grounds of elasticity notion. © IDOSI Publications, 2014
Use of active control for elimination of flow separation with estimation of energy costs
Problems were posed and solved concerning the aerodynamic computation of the flow past an airfoil with an active boundary layer control device used to prevent flow separation. A moving wall, suction, or tangential blowing in the boundary layer was used as a flow control device. The turbulent boundary layer was computed by directly solving the boundary layer equations using an implicit difference scheme with adaptive grid generation and the determination of the computational domain size. A software code was developed, and numerical simulations were performed taking into account the energy costs related to the flow control device. The numerical results showed that the active flow control devices can be used to prevent flow separation. © Pleiades Publishing, Ltd., 2009
THERMAL STABILITY AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES OF NANOSTRUCTURED NICKEL BASED ALLOY INCONEL 718
Abstract. Thermal stability of nanostructured (NS) nickel based alloy Inconel 718 has been investigated. This structure was formed by severe plastic deformation (SPD) via high pressure torsion (HPT) and multiple isothermal forging (MIF) of the alloy with an initial coarse-grained (CG) structure. The produced microstructures were analyzed. Such NS conditions are characterized by the nonequilibrium grain boundaries and a high hardness value that is twice larger than that of a CG alloy. Tensile tests of NS alloy after MIF have shown very high room-temperature strength. Thermal stability of the studied structural conditions of the alloy depends on the presence and stability of the precipitates of -and n W P b T b T P R W U f W X R W X ] P R R a S P ] R T f X c W X c b d P ] c X c h sizes, coherence with matrix, prevents the grain growth
