Stress and strength analysis of the bicycle crank arm of a non-circular profile

Tato bakalářská práce pojednává o analytickém řešení krutu u tyče s obdélníkovým profilem. Řešení je podloženo Prandtlovým popisem krutu tyče obecného průřezu. V celkové napjatosti v klice se uvažuje smykové napětí od kroutícího momentu a od posouvajících sil, dále normálové napětí od ohybových momentů a tahové síly. Aplikací tohoto problému je analýza napjatosti v klice jízdního kola. Výpočet je prováděn pomocí programu MATLAB.This bachelor’s thesis deals with analytic solution of torque of a rectangular profile bar. Solution stands on Prandtl’s theory of torque of non-circular cross-section bar. Stress is thought about shear stress which is given by torsional moment and shear force, further about normal stress which is given by bending moment and tensile force. Application for this problem is stress and strength analysis of of the bicykle crank arm. Calculation is solved with MATLAB software.

Společnost Meta jako digitální suverén: Teoretické aspekty nestátního normativního systému v 21. století Abstrakt Tato diplomová práce se zabývá normativním systémem aplikovaným na platformách Meta optikou teorie právního pluralismu a na základě analýzy rozhodnutí dozorového orgánu Oversight Board a pokouší se zodpovědět otázku, zda existuje něco jako právo Facebooku. V druhé kapitole podrobně rozebírám vývoj právního pluralismu a jeho přerod od deskriptivní analýzy mnohosti právních řádů k normativní teorii, jak se s touto mnohostí vypořádat. V rámci této kapitoly konfrontuji tradiční náhledy a chápání pojmu práva s alternativními definicemi a pojetími z per autorů právního pluralismu, spolu s alternativními náhledy na pojem autority. Závěrem této kapitoly uvádím tři hlavní směry kritiky právního pluralismu, které jsem v judikatuře vypozoroval. Ve třetí kapitole popisuji fenomén digitálních platforem ze čtyř různých náhledů. Prvně jako online služby, poté jako veřejný prostor, který je v současné době zcela zásadní pro výkon základních práv, zejména svobody projevu, zatřetí jako infrastrukturu, na které začíná být budovaná nemalá část jak běžných interakcí, tak i ekonomických operací, a za čtvrté jako mocenskou architekturu, která umožňuje vysoce efektivní vymáhání pravidel. In the second chapter, I describe the development of legal pluralism and its transition from a descriptive analysis of the plurality of legal orders to a normative theory of how to deal with this plurality. Within this chapter, I confront traditional views and understandings of the concept of law with alternative definitions and conceptions penned by the authors of legal pluralism, along with alternative views of the concept of authority. Proposal of Communication Mix of the Selected Company

Diplomová práce se zabývá komunikačním mixem bankovní společnosti a jejím hlavním cílem je návrh nového komunikačního mixu, vycházejícího z provedených analýz. V první části práce jsou zpracována teoretická východiska, ze kterých jsou odvozeny následující dvě části práce. Ve druhé části jsou provedeny analýzy vnějšího a vnitřního prostředí společnosti. V poslední části jsou vypracovány konkrétní návrhy a jejich implementace pro komunikační mix bankovní společnosti.This diploma thesis deals with the communication mix of the banking company. Its main task is to design a new communication mix based on the performed analyses. Theory is described in the first part and serves as basis for following parts. Second part reveals analyses of an external and internal environment of the company. The last part states exact proposals and their implementation for the communication mix of the banking company.

Welding Positioner

Bakalářská práce se zabývá konstrukčním návrhem zařízení, určeného k polohování specifického svařence při jeho svařování. Úvodní část je stručné shrnutí významu svařovaného dílu, pro který je polohovadlo konstruováno. V rešerši se zaměřuji na různé druhy polohovacích zařízení a jejich využití v praxi. Následuje výběr vhodných dílů, včetně jejich popisu, ze kterých polohovadlo sestavím. Výpočtové zpráva se zabývá návrhem vhodného elektromotoru a převodovky, spojky, hřídele s perem těsným, ložisky a šrouby. Pevnostní výpočty obsahují výpočet reakčních sil a kontrolu noh polohovadla pomocí MKP. Nakonec jsem předepsal podmínky montáže, seřízení a údržby stroje. Součástí práce je také výkresová dokumentace.This bachelor thesis deals with engineering design of a device intended to position specific product while its being welded. The introduction deals with brief description of the function of the welded piece, for which the positioner is engineered for. In research, I focused on different types of posotioners and their practical use. That is followed by the choice of appropriate parts, that I am going to compose the positioner with. Calculating report includes calculation of electric motor, gearbox, clutch, shaft, bearings, bolts and strength calculations. Evaluation of the Economy of the Town District Brno-střed

Bakalářská práce se zabývá hospodařením městské části Brno-střed. První část je zaměřena teoretickým fungování samosprávy, popis městské části, financováním od státu do rozpočtu obce. Druhá část je analytická a vyhodnocuje hospodaření za poslední tři roky období od roku 2012 do roku 2014. Třetí část přináší návrhy na zlepšení hospodaření a správu městské části Brno – střed s výhledem na následující rozpočtová období.This thesis deals with an economy of city district Brno-střed. First part is theoretical, dedicated to functioning of self-government, description of this city district and financing state from budget of community. The second part is analytical and evaluates economy of last three years; period from 2012 to 2014. Optimizing design of the slide CNC horizontal boring machines

Tato diplomová práce se zabývá návrhy řešení zvýšení tuhosti saní u CNC horizontálního vyvrtávacího stoje s cílem optimalizovat konstrukci saní. Zvolený problém byl vyřešen pomocí citlivostní analýzy s využitím plánováním měření v podmínkách lineární regresní analýzy. Data pro citlivostní analýzu byla získána pomocí výpočtového modelování metodou konečných prvků. Řešení poskytuje pohled na míru vlivu právě na deformaci saní u zkoumaných prvků. Na základě získaných výsledků se vybraly prvky s nějvětším vlivem a vytvořili se tři ideové návrhy zlepšení. Z vytvořených návrhů se vybrala optimální varianta na základě technického, ekonomického a technicko-ekonomického hlediska metodou PATTERN. Tato práce přináší nový pohled a přístup sloužící k inovaci konstrukce s cílem zlepšení tuhosti již existujícího zařízení.This master's thesis deals with proposals for solutions to increase the stiffness of the slide for CNC horizontal boring standing in order to optimize the design of the slide. Selected problem was solved by sensitivity analysis using desegin of experiment in conditions of linear regression analysis. Data for the sensitivity analysis were obtained by using computational modeling using finite element method. The solution provides a view of the degree of influence on the deformation of the examined elements of the slide. Based on these results were selected elements with the greatest influence and created three ideological designs for improvement. Of these designs, was chose an optimal variant by PATTERN method acoording on the technical, economic and technical-economic aspect. This work offers a new look for the innovating the design to increase rigidity.

The effect of conformational transition of gelatin-polysaccharide polyelectrolyte complex on its functional properties

The blends of gelatin and shear-thinning hydrocolloids (guar gum, kappa-carrageenan and xanthan gum) were examined to determine the effect of the conformational change on the functional properties of the solutions. The polyelectrolyte complexes of 0.5% gelatin/0.5% polysaccharide in 70 mM KCl or 70 mM NaCl were investigated by the laboratory rheometer and conductivity meter in the temperature range 25 - 45 °C. The rheological data were fitted by the power-law and Herschel-Bulkley model to obtain the flow parameters. The functional properties of the samples were substantially affected by the conformational change of the polysaccharide, as well as by the type of the hydrocolloid and salt solution. There was an evident change of viscosity and conductivity of the solutions upon heating, corresponding to the helix-coil transition of the polysaccharide at temperature about 35 °C. The type of the salt solvent had an effect on the gelation properties of the samples. Gelatin/kappa-carrageenan blend in NaCl provided a gel of high consistency at ambient temperature (20 - 25 °C), whereas the blend in KCl did not gel in the studied temperature range. The potential stability of the blends was determined by zeta-potential analysis. The low values of ζ-potential indicate that the gelatin/polysaccharide blends are electrically unstable systems which tend to coagulate. The mixtures of gelatin/polysaccharide electrostatic complexes may have a great potential in many food applications. © 2017 Potravinarstvo Slovak Journal of Food Sciences

Trimesityltriangulene: a persistent derivative of Clar's hydrocarbon

Triangulene, known as Clar’s hydrocarbon, is a prototypical non-Kekule ́ diradical comprised of six benzenoid rings fused in a trian-gular shape. We synthesized and characterized its trimesityl derivative, illustrating that three bulky substituents installed in the centers of the zigzag edges suffice to protect all reactive positions. Thermal aging of edible oils: Spectrophotometric study

The aim of the present study was to determine the spectrophotometric and thermal aging properties of various edible oils (olive, peanut, rapeseed, soybean and sunflower oils) which are commonly available in the Czech market. The samples were measured by UV/VIS absorption spectrometry and fluorescence spectroscopy. Detected substances of UV/VIS spectra were compared to expected oil composition; the highest absorbance values were detected in a wavelength range 300-550 nm which can be related to the presence of unsaturated fatty acids. The mixtures of oils were characterized by fluorescence spectroscopy; the individual oils were successfully distinguished according to their excitation-emission profiles. This method was also used to detect the samples of adulterated oils, i.e., the adulteration of high-quality oils with soybean oil. From a physicochemical point of view, the influence of temperature on the compounds of extra virgin olive oil was examined by thermal stress simulation. This thermal aging analysis demonstrated that the amount of oxidation products in olive oil increased during the heating whereas the chlorophyll content decreased. The results showed the ability of the techniques used, UV/VIS absorption spectrometry and fluorescence spectroscopy, to characterize the quality and composition of oils, and to distinguish individual oils in blends. UV/VIS spectrometry was also successfully employed for the evaluation of olive oil qualitative parameters according to the standard quality parameters by the "International Olive Council" (EEC 702/2007). © 2018 Potravinarstvo Slovak Journal of Food Sciences
