    FTIR studies on the effect of concentration of polyethylene glycol on polimerization of Shellac

    © Published under licence by IOP Publishing Ltd. In the present paper, it was reported the FTIR studies on the efect of polyethylene glycol on polimerization of shellac. The shellac was shellac waxfree, and the solvent was ethanol 96%. The shellac films were were prepared by solvent- evaporation method. The concentrations of polyethylene glycol having molecular weight of 400 were 10, 30, 60, and 90 w/w %. Three peak intensity bands of C= O stretching of ester at 1709 cm-1, O-H stretching of hydroxyl group at 3400 cm-1, and C-H stretching vibration at 2942 cm-1 were observed and related to polimerization of shellac. It was found that polymerization of shellac was slowed down by polyethyelene glycol, and the degree of polymerization of shellac decreased with increasing the concentration of polyethyelene glycol

    Paper ini membahas tentang aplikasi sistem robot dalam proses pembangunan kapal. Aplikasi yang ditinjau untuk pekerjaan welding, blasting dan painting, baik untuk struktur terbuka atau struktur tertutup (double hull). Beberapa kelebihan dan kekurangan pada aplikasi robot akan dibahas untuk mengembangkan aplikasi penggunaan robot yang sudah ada, salah satunya adalah dengan menggunakan konsep humanoid. Studi ini juga mengusulkan beberapa modifikasi aplikasi robot yang sudah ada dalam pembangunan kapal. Hasil dari usulan konsep membutuhkan studi analisis lanjut baik mengenai struktural mekanik pada body robot maupun kajian sistem yang lebih tepat untuk diterapkan

    Floating port is a barge made of rectangular steel or concrete that can float to adjust the water lavel. Barge is a cargo ship type do not have a propulsion system. So, design of floating port preferably aqual to ship design. There are 3 types of barge construction system, that are longitudinal system, transversal system and mixed construction. To get the optimal design of floating port, comparison of design based on the construction system is needed. Case study in this research ia a Tideng Pale-KTT floating port. Deformation and stress analysis using FEA method on 2 models of construction system, that are transversal and longitudinal. Based on results, both of construction system produce a good strength value. However, there are some construction component which does not match the placement of the construction system. Results of construction costs have 5,51% deviation, longitudinal sytem is more expensive. So, produce the hypotheses to do a combination for both of construction systems

    Various regions in Indonesia are often had a natural disaster. Ironically handling of post-disaster still seem indolent and not ready especially fullfill requirement of shelters. Orientation of the above problem, we have an innovations arise to make shelters with various of design concept, include : shelters that can harvest the rain water, earthquake resistant, eco friendly materials, get implementing smart technology system as a puzzle and implement the dynamic wall system. The main materials used in our innovation is bamboo with the economic, low cost and sustainable when it compared to wood or aother materials. Same with implementing of other building work, temporary shelter that we construct need standart tools equipment builders. This activity is divided in two types of work, there\u27s fabrication site and construction site. On the implementation phase, we can starting from a literature search and discussion, survey tools and materials, permitting laboratories and make a shop drawing. After that, we can make the temporary shelters from the procurement of equipment and materials, work columns, beams, sloof, the walls and floor plate work, trust and roof work, finishing, construction phase and packaging. This product innovation is also equipped with a guide book for constructed, so our expectation is the temporary shelter can construct with effective and effisienly

    This paper discusses the analysis of efficiency exergy of boiler Wanson on refinery unit at PUSDIKLAT MIGAS Cepu is order to identify the actual energy used or the quality results of the actual energy consumption and actual energy loss as a result from irreversible process. Boiler is the biggest source of exergy destruction in a Steam Power Plant's System and plant systems, hence there is a big opportunity to increase the efficiency in performance. Therefore the bigger efficiency in boiler's performance, the lower production cost for fuel consumption in industry. Boilers are analyzed using fuel Residue (MFO) on assuming constant environment temperature and pressure of 25oC and 1 bar within twenty-four hours. The result are the average efficiency exergy is 58.13% and the average energy efficiency is 79.60%. Based on the results of the research that the total rate of destruction exergy in the boiler is 34.833 MW or 38.92% of the incoming exergy of 89.501 MW. The rate of destruction combustor accounted for 24.60%, while the rate of destruction of the heat exchanger provides the largest contribution of 14.32%. The total exergy efficiency, total energy efficiency and total destruction rate are influenced by mass flow rate and the temperature of steam. Exergy efficiency and the rate of exergy destruction in combustor are influenced by fuel temperature, combustion air temperature, excess air, mixing fuel with air and insulation system in the combustor, while the value of the efficiency and the rate of exergy destruction of heat exchanger affected by mass flow rate of steam, flue gas temperature, cleanliness tubes, insulation and the amount of feedwater system wasted in the blowdown system

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui: (1) Besarnya pengaruh kemampuan membaca siswa terhadap pemecahan soal tes siswa kelas 2 SD N 2 Ngadirojo tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. (2) Besarnya pengaruh motivasi belajar siswa terhadap pemecahan soal siswa tes kelas 2 SD N 2 Ngadirojo tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. (3) Besarnya pengaruh kemampuan membaca dan motivasi belajar siswa terhadap pemecahan soal tes siswa kelas 2 SD N 2 Ngadirojo tahun pelajaran 2014/2015. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas II SD N 02 Ngadirojo tahun 2014/2015. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah angket, tes, observasi dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis yang digunakan adalah analisis regresi linier ganda yang didahului dengan uji prasyarat analisis yaitu uji normalitas, kelinieran.
