    Effects of School Organizational Climate and Teaching Quality on Student Learning Achievement in North Ende District, Eastern Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia

    The problem underlying the implementation of this research was related to the assumption that the decreasing student achievement in North Ende District, Ende Regency, East Nusa Tenggara Province, Indonesia, was caused by the less professional School Organizational Climate and Teaching Quality. This research used a survey method with a quantitative approach. The sampling was done randomly, involving 107 teachers from the total population of 160 teachers and 107 students from the total population of 350 students. Data were collected through the instruments of Likert-scale questionnaires and the lists of high school students’ scores in the fourth and fifth semesters of 2017/ 2018 academic year. Data analysis was conducted using Pearson-Product Moment Correlation and Multiple Regression. The variables in this research included two independent variables, namely school organizational climate (Variable X1) and teaching quality (Variable X2), and one dependent variable, namely student learning achievement (Variable Y) in North Ende District. The analysis results of this research showed that the School Organizational Climate variable (X1) had a positive and significant effect of 0.454 (45.5%) on Learning Achievement (Y) and the Teaching Quality variable (X2) had a positive and significant effect of 0.632 (63.2%) on Learning Achievement (Y). Accumulatively, the Student Learning Achievement (Y) in schools were influenced by the Organizational Climate and Teaching Quality of 0.447 (44.7%) while the remaining 55.3% was not the focus of this research. We suggest (1) the principals, teachers, and students establish good relationship each other so as to create a harmonious work climate, (2) the teachers improve teaching quality through education and training, courses and seminars, and (3) the principals provide opportunities for teachers to continue their education to a higher level.     Pengaruh Iklim Kerja dan Kualitas Mengajar Guru terhadap Prestasi Belajar siswa

    Permasalahan dalam penelitian ini adalah bahwa tidak semua sekolah di Kecamatan Ende Utara memiliki Prestasi Belajar yang semuanya baik. Hal ini disebabkan Iklim Kerja dan Kualitas Mengajar Guru yang berbeda-beda.. Metode dalam penelitian ini adalah metode survey dengan pendekatan kuantitatif, sampel diambil secara random dengan 107 guru dari populasi 160 dan siswa/i 107 dari populasi 350 siswa/i. Teknik pengumpulan data berupa intrumen dalam bentuk angket skala likert dan nilai siswa/i SMA/K semester 4 dan 5 tahun ajaran 2017/2018, Teknik analisis data Korelasi Pearson Product Moment dan Regresi Berganda. Variabel dalam penelitian ini yaitu variabel bebas X1 iklim organisasi dan Variabel bebas ke dua X2 Kualitas mengajar guru dan Variabel terikat adalah Prestasi belajar siswa di kecamatan Ende Utara. Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa Iklim Organisasi Sekolah(X1) berpengaruh secara positif sebesar 0.754 ( 75.4 % ) terhadap Prestasi Belajar (Y) dan kualitas mengajar guru (X2) juga berpengaruh secara signifikan sebesar 0.774 (77.4 %) terhadap Prestasi belajar Y. Secara bersama-sama Prestasi Belajar Siswa di sekolah di pengaruhi oleh Iklim Organisasi dan Kualitas Mengajar Guru Sebesar 0.702 ( 70.2 %) dan sisanya 29.8 % yang bukan menjadi fokus dalam penelitian ini.Saran (1)bagi para kepala sekolah, guru-guru dan siswa/i hendaknya menjalin hubungan yang baik antar individu sehingga tercipta iklim kerja yang harmonis,(2)meningkatkan kualitas mengajar guru melalui pendidikan dan pelatihan, kursus-kursus dan seminar,(3)Kepala sekolah memberikan kesempatan kepada guru-guru untuk melanjutkan pendidikan ke jenjang yang lebih tinggi

    This study aims to determine (1) Guide Note Taking (GNT) learning tools on a two-variable linear equation system in class VIII students of SMPK Swadaya Maukaro in the 2018/2019. (2) Learning outcomes through learning Guide Note strategies Taking (GNT) material on the two-variable linear equation system for class VIII SMPK Swadaya Maukaro in the 2018/2019. This type of research used in this research is experimental research with the approach used is a quantitative approach. The subjects in this study were 20 students of class VIII SMPK Swadaya Maukaro. The research result states that the results of the preparation of the Guide Note Taking learning tool for the two-variable linear equation system material produce a good learning tool because it meets the requirements based on validity, reliability, and sensitivity. Results of covariance data analysis obtained f-count = 5.241> f table = 4.45 or it can be seen that with dk numerator 1 and dk denominator 19, giving a significant value, then this shows that learning guide note taking is considered to be able to improve learning outcomes for the material of two-variable linear equation systems in class VIII students of SMPK Swadaya Maukaro

    Peningkatan Perilaku Cinta Lingkungan Pada Golden Age di Taman Kanak Kanak Kartika Kodim Ende NTT

    Penanaman sikap cinta lingkungan pada usia dini menjadi hal penting dalam proses pembelajaran terutamanya bagi generasi yang duduk di Taman Kanak Kanak, yang dikategorikan sebagai Golden Age dalam penelitian ini. Perilaku cinta lingkungan yang diproses melalui kegiatan membuang sampah pada tempatnya di TK Kartika Kodim Ende menjadi fokus utama penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat peningkatan perilaku cinta lingkungan melalui kegiatan membuang sampah pada tempatnya. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan metode deskriptif kualitatif melalui observasi langsung, wawancara dan dokumentasi yang melibatkan 18 siswa/i kelas B2 TK Kartika Kodim Ende. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, dapat disimpulkan bahwa: 1) Perencanaan dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kegiatan membuang sampah pada tempatnya di TK Kartika Kodim Ende dengan kategori baik. Dalam hal ini langkah-langkah yang dilakukan guru berdasarkan perencanaan yang telah dibuat meliputi; a) pemberian pemahaman kegiatan memilah dan menempatkan sampah pada tempatnya, b) menyedikan bak sampah terpilah jenis organik dan anorganik, serta c) memperaktekkan pemilahan dan penempatan sampah sesuai jenisnya ditempat yang benar, 2) Perilaku cinta lingkungan melalui kegiatan membuang sampah pada tempatnya berkembang sangat baik dan mengalami peningkatan sebesar 40%. Dimana siklus I sebesar 60% meningkat menjadi 100% pada siklus ke II

    This study aims to determine how the mathematical problem-solving abilities of MA/SMA/SMK students in terms of self-confidence of students who focus on trigonometry material. This research is qualitative research with a descriptive method. The subjects in this study were students of class X SMK Catholic St. Joseph Soa. The sampling technique used is the purposive sampling technique. Data collection techniques in this study were tests, questionnaires and interviews. The research instrument used was a test of mathematical problem-solving ability in the form of descriptions, self-confidence questionnaires and interview sheets. The data analysis technique uses questionnaire analysis, questions, interviews and data analysis (data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions). The results showed that the self-confidence of the tenth graders of SMK Catholic St. Yoseph Soa is divided into three, namely high, medium and low. The mathematical problem-solving ability of students with a high level of self-confidence is able to meet the four problem-solving indicators according to Polya. The mathematical problem-solving ability of students with moderate self-confidence is only able to meet indicators 1, 2 and 3. The problem-solving ability of students with low self-confidence is not able to meet the four problem-solving indicators according to Polya

    The implementation of this community service activity is motivated by a global issue that is currently developing, namely the spread of the COVID 19 virus. The spread of the virus, which also occurs in Ende district, has awakened various parties to implement a clean lifestyle, make efforts to prevent and break the chain of spread of the COVID 19 virus. One of these efforts is realized through this community service activity, namely by cleaning, socializing and spraying disinfectants in public areas. One of the areas that became the target of this dedication was the Jami At'Taqwa Onekore Ende Mosque. To achieve the goal of this Community Service activity is carried out through several approaches, including; 1) Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) Model which emphasizes community involvement in all activities starting from planning, implementing and evaluating activity programs, 2) Participatory Technological Development Model which utilizes appropriate technology based on local knowledge and wisdom, 3) Model Community development is an approach that involves the community directly as the subject and object of implementation of community service activities, 4) Persuasive, namely an approach that is appeal and support without coercion for the community to take an active role in this activity, 5) Educative, namely the socialization, training and mentoring as a means of transferring knowledge and education. The results of the Social Service Activities for cleaning the environment of the Jami 'At-Taqwa Onekore Mosque can run well in accordance with the activity plan, namely cleaning the mosque environment, cleaning irrigation ditches, transporting garbage and spraying disinfectants. This is shown from the following conclusions; 1) All residents become enthusiastic training participants and have a good commitment to all the programs discussed before the activity for the sake of creating a sense of security and peace in worship in the midst of the Covid 19 pandemic, 2) There has been an increased understanding of the knowledge of the Covid 19 outbreak and how to maintain security self in minimizing outbreaks.     ABSTRAKTujuan dari pengabdian ini adalah (1) Untuk meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat Desa, bahwa Desa Wolotopo Timur memiliki potensi yang besar sebagai Desa Eduwisata serta pengembangan Ekonomi Kreatif, (2)  Untuk melibatkan generasi pemuda dalam melakukan kegiatan produktif, (3) Pembentukan kelompok Pokdarwis Desa Wolotopo Timur dalam mengoptimalisasi Rencana Eduwisata demi Kesejahteraan Bersama. Metode pengabdian dilakukan dengan pendekatan ABCD (Asset-based Community Development) dengan perencanaan kegiatan, melakukan kunjungan ke tokoh masyarakat (mosalaki), melakukan kunjungan langsung ke lapangan dan melakukan FGD bersama masyarakat desa. Kegiatan pengabdian ini dilakukan selama 6 bulan, yakni dari bulan September 2021 hingga Maret 2022 di Desa Wolotopo Timur. Hasil pengabdian ini berupa kegiatan pendampingan pengembangan masyarakat dan pembentukan kelompok Pokdarwis Wolotopo Timur dimana ternyata Desa Wolotopo timur memiliki banyal sekali destinasi wisata yang dapat dijadikan Eduwisata karena desa Wolotopo Timur merupakan desa peninggalan Megalitikums, diantaranya Bhaku, Tubu Musu, Kuburan Batu (megalit), Sa’o Ria dan pemandangan yang indah serta sejarah Desa yang menarik serta pengembangan ekonomi kreatif. Kata kunci: desa wolotopo timur; pendidikan; megalitikum ABSTRACTThe objectives of this service are (1) To increase awareness of the village community, that the Village of East Wolotopo has great potential as an Edutourism Village and the development of the Creative Economy, (2) To involve the youth generation in carrying out productive activities, (3) Establishment of the Wolotopo Village Pokdarwis group Timur in optimizing the Edutourism Plan for the Common Welfare. The service method is carried out using the ABCD (Asset-based Community Development) approach by planning activities, making visits to community leaders (mosalaki), making direct visits to the field and conducting FGDs with village communities. This service activity was carried out for 6 months, namely from September 2021 to March 2022 in East Wolotopo Village.     ABSTRAKSDI Bhoanawa 1 adalah mitra dalam Program Kemitraan Masyarakat yang merupakan sekolah dasar yang berdiri pada tahun 1980. Sekolah ini terletak di tengah-tengah pemukiman warga Bhoanawa Kelurahan Rukun Lima Kabupaten Ende. Masalah sampah tidak lepas dari kehidupan manusia, dimana ada manusia selalu saja ada sampah yang dihasilkan. Sampah disekolah adalah sisa-sisa kegiatan sekolah seperti kertas, plastik bekas, kemasan makanan ringan dan sisa lainnya yang tidak terpakai lagi yang ditemukan disekitar lingkungan sekolah. Sampah-sampah tersebut juga ditemukan dilingkungan sekolah SDI Bhoanawa 1 maupun dilingkungan perumahan sekitar sekolah. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk memberikan edukasi tentang permasalahan sampah dan melakukan aksi langsung dilapangan dengan melakukan clean up sampah dan pembentukan Bank sampah dengan lokasi sasaran di SDI Bhoanawa 1. Pada kegiatan pengabdian ini tim pengabdian juga menggandeng komunitas Anak Cinta Lingkungan Kabupaten Ende (ACIL) Ende. Metode yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini adalah Metode Sosialisasi, Clean Up, Pembentukan Bank Sampah. Hasil Kegiatan pengabdian ini berjalan dengan baik, hal tersebut terlihat dari antusias siswa SDI Bhoanawa 1 dalam mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan ini. Banyak hal positif yang diperoleh dari kegiatan ini dimana siswa-siswi SDI Bhoanwa 1 mendapatkan materi pengelolaan sampah yang baik. Siswa-siswi SDI Bhoanawa 1 mampu memahami sampah, masalah dan solusi, serta dapat mengambil manfaat dari sampah. Hal tersebut dapat dilihat dari hasil Post Test setelah kegiatan dimana terdapat peningkatan pembamaman siswa akan sampah, masalah dan solusi serta pegelolaan dan pemanfaatannya. This school is located in the middle of the residential area of Bhoanawa residents, Rukun Lima Village, Ende Regency. The problem of waste cannot be separated from human life, where there are humans there will always be waste produced. School waste is the remnants of school activities such as paper, used plastic, snack packaging and other unused remnants found around the school environment. The garbage was also found in the SDI Bhoanawa 1 school environment and in the housing environment around the school. The purpose of this activity is to provide education about waste problems and take direct action in the field by cleaning up waste and establishing a waste bank with a target location at SDI Bhoanawa 1. In this service activity the community service team also cooperates with the Anak Cinta Lingkungan community in Ende Regency (ACIL). Ende. The method used in this activity is the Method of Socialization, Clean Up, Establishment of a Waste Bank. The results of this service activity went well, it was seen from the enthusiasm of SDI Bhoanawa 1 students in participating in this series of activities. Many positive things were obtained from this activity where the students of SDI Bhoanwa 1 received good waste management materials. The students of SDI Bhoanawa 1 are able to understand waste, problems and solutions, and can take advantage of waste. This can be seen from the results of the Post Test after the activity where there is an increase in students' understanding of waste, problems and solutions as well as management and utilization.
