La usurpación de la Alta Navarra por la Corona de Castilla, que se inicia en el año 1512, supone una profunda transformación del sistema jurídico tanto en las instituciones de derecho privado como público. El sistema jurídico junto con la lengua es uno de los pilares de la identidad de este pueblo. La formación del sistema jurídico arranca de épocas prerromanas. El derecho escrito llegará con los fueros municipales, fueros locales y fueros generales. A partir de 1494 se constata el inicio de la reforma de las instituciones jurídicas. Development and regionalization of the telencephalon and peripheral associated systems in the shark Scyliorhinus canicula

This thesis represents the first monographic study of the telencephalon and peripheral systems associated to it in an elasmobranch species, Scyliorhinus canicula, which is a crucial model from an evolutionary point of view. We present a thoughtful characterization of these structures from early embryonic development to adulthood, which intend to fill a gap in the knowledge about vertebrate telencephalon evolution and, particularly, about its development. We describe for the first time the development of the peripheral olfactory system and terminal nerve system in S. canicula and present evidences of their shared origin in the migratory mass. We also demonstrate that Pax6 cells located along the developing olfactory nerve are migrating neurons that might be acting as guidepost cells for axons travelling towards the olfactory bulb. Additionally, we delimit main pallial and subpallial subdivisions by means of the analysis of expression of key developmental genes as Dlx2, Nkx2.1, Tbr1, Lhx9, Emx1, Shh and Otp. This genetic approach also allowed us to analyze different tangential migratory routes originated in the subpallium. Finally, we study the connections of the proposed basal ganglia in juveniles of S. canicula which draw interesting conclusions about the identity of the striatum and the conservation of the dopaminergic nigrostriatal pathway in elasmobranchs

A METHOD FOR INCLUDING IN PMP MODELS ACTIVITIES NON-EXISTENT IN THE BASELINE SITUATION

When working with positive mathematical programming (PMP) models it is generally admitted that it is not possible to consider in the modeled unit activities that are not present in the baseline situation of the unit. This constitutes a considerable drawback for traditional PMP techniques which cannot be applied in specific cases, in particular to the study of the impact of new agri-environmental programs that subsidize crops grown with technologies different to those applied in the baseline situation. This paper presents a method for dealing with these cases, which can be easily implemented as an extension of the traditional calibration techniques of PMP. The method is applied to a specific problem, using modified calibration expressions derived from the necessary Khun-Tucker conditions, assuming increasing marginal costs. Una de las vertientes más reconocidas del amplio y fecundo magisterio de la profesora Emilia Salvador estriba en la demostración de las posibilidades de uso y aprovechamiento de algunas fuentes históricas para el estudio de campos temáticos en apariencia distantes de su finalidad más obvia. Siguiendo esta línea, en estas páginas hemos querido rendirle homenaje analizando el problema de la posesión de armas por los moriscos valencianos después del desarme de 1563 mediante el entrecruzamiento de fuentes contables y penales. IMPACT OF THE CAP REFORM ON THE SPANISH AGRICULTURAL SECTOR

This paper analyses the impact of the 2003 CAP reform on Spanish agricultural sector in the context of the recent CAP Health Check and high food prices, using PROMAPA, a positive mathematical programming model for representative farms. The analysis compares the model results for base year 2002 to the findings for a scenario with the CAP reform measures in place, taking into account recent modifications. The effect of adopting a full decoupling scheme instead of the present partial decoupling is also studied. Brief descriptions are given of the PROMAPA model, the representative farm considered and the assumptions about both price variations and the policy measures simulated. The findings showed that the farming area for cereals grew substantially after abolition of the compulsory set-aside and that the impact of transition to full decoupling was scant, except in the sheep and rearing cattle sub-sectors, where it considerably steepened the already sizeable decline in livestock numbers induced by the partial decoupling scheme.CAP reform, CAP Health Check, Decoupling, Spanish agricultural sector., Agricultural and Food Policy, Q10, Q12, Q18,
