Emotional Dynamics of Action and Core Involvement: A new theoretical perspective for designing development strategies in schools

    Get PDF
Emotional Dynamics of Action and Core Involvement are theortical perspectives that define an individual's life long scope of learning and progress.  An individual’s life long Emotional Dynamics of Action (EDA) and his/her Core Involvement in what he/she aspires to do, in what he/she takes up, in whatever he/she achieves get immensely impacted in school. EDA and CI are not isolated patterns of emotional construct; they get constantly evolved and devolved, constantly learned and unlearned. An individual's EDA and CI constantly impact those around and also constantly get impacted by those around. Thus school becomes a space that defines the life-long capacity of an individual. Schools greatly make up a society and its behavioural and attitudinal construct. The aim of this paper is to on a fresh construct define how schools play a pivotal role in determining a child’s consciousness. The psychological patterns determining communication between a child’s internal and external settings and his level of self-awareness get shaped in school. And these psychological patterns define the EDA and CI of the individual. Researcher defines how positive EDA and CI can be cultivated and practised and how schools can become a major strageic point for development

    Get PDF
Objectives: The present study was carried out to evaluate the immunomodulatory efficacy of Karanja (Pongamia pinnata Pierre) Seed Churna in aqueous solution. Methods: The animals for this trial were rats of either sex and blood that was used was sheep’s blood. The study was conducted in three groups having 6 rats in each group. First group was control group and tap water was administered to this group orally, second and third group received the test drug aqueous solution at the dose 800mg and 4000mg/kg body weight respectively for 10 consecutive days. The test drug was evaluated for effect on humoral antibody formation, on cell mediated immunity and spleen and thymus weight gain. Histopathological studies were also performed on spleen and thymus in SRBC pre-sensitized rats. Results: The data on the effect of test drug on antibody formation against sheep red blood cells shows marginal statistically non-significant decrease in antibody titre at both lower and higher dose levels. Cell mediated immunity only at higher dose level in 48 hours reached statistically significant level whereas non-significant changes were observed in the weight of spleen and thymus. Conclusion: Karanja seed possess significant cell mediated immunity and non-significant effect on antibody formation and also non-significant effect on spleen and thymus weight gain

Data Mining Tools and Techniques: a review

    Get PDF
Data mining automates the detection of relevant patterns in a database, using defined approaches andalgorithms to look into current and historical data that can then be analyzed to predict future trends.Because data mining tools predict future trends and behaviors by reading through databases for hiddenpatterns, they allow organizations to make proactive, knowledge-driven decisions and answer questions thatwere previously too time-consuming to resolve. The data mining methods such as clustering, associationrules, sequential pattern, statistics analysis, characteristics rules and so on can be used to find out the usefulknowledge, enabling such data to become the real fortune of logistics companies and support theirdecisions and development. This paper introduces the significance use of data mining tools and techniquesin logistics management system, and its implications. Finally, it is pointed out that the data miningtechnology is becoming more and more powerful in logistics management. Keywords: Logistics management, Data Mining concepts, application areas, Tools and Technique

ATTRIBUTION OF AYURVEDIC HERBS IN MADHUMEHA

    Get PDF
Now a days people are facing life style disorders and stressful mental conditions due to the hectic and busy schedule. Madhumeha is one among them. It is the single most metabolic disease affecting the organ/system in the body. It is a burning problem in today’s scenario. It has been grouped under 20 Prameha described by our ancient Acharayas. This disease does not originate suddenly. Its pathophysiology takes long term. Any of Prameha neglected ends up in Madhumeha. It cannot be completely cured but can be prevented by food, medicines, life style etc. Administration of Ayurvedic herbs can play a very beneficial role in preventing this disease as well as its complication because they are oriented towards preventive and treatment approach. Various drugs of herbal origin as well as mineral origin is being mentioned in Ayurvedic texts Herbal medications shows anti diabetic effects and bring varying effects on the blood sugar level with minimal side effects. Role of herbs such as Ashwagandha, Haridra, Daruharidra, Aamlaki etc. in Pre diabetic, Diabetic and its complications along with effects of such herbs in experimental studies will be explored in present paper

Mitigating Qos Routing Challenges In Mobile Ad Hoc Networks Considering Lifetime And Energy Predictions With Traffic Distribution

    Get PDF
Mobile Ad hoc Networks are highly dynamic networks. Quality of Service (QoS) routing in such networks is usually limited by the network breakage due to either node mobility or energy depletion of the mobile nodes. To fulfill certain quality parameters, and to achieve network stability, presence of multiple node-disjoint paths becomes essential. Such paths aid in the optimal traffic distribution and reliability in case of path breakages. To maintain such stability requires that links. To cater such problem, we present a node-disjoint multipath protocol. The metric used to select the paths takes into account the stability of the nodes and the corresponding links, calculated through their position and the energy drain rate. Optimal paths are also selected and the load is distributed proportionally to avoid overburden on the nodes .The proposed technique is also illustrated with an example and compared with another similar protocol ENDMR using ns-2

Low latitude ionospheric response to March 2015 geomagnetic storm using multi-instrument TEC observations over India

    Get PDF
The regional ionospheric models are successful in capturing the variability of ionosphere with the inclusion of local ground-based GPS observations and location dependent ionospheric dynamics. In this context, there is a need to develop regional ionospheric maps that aids in improving the consistency of global models. In this paper, an attempt is made to understand the potentiality of multi-instrument observations over Indian region. Four different Total Electron Content (TEC) data sources namely from network of GPS receivers, Ionosonde stations, space based COSMIC radio occultation profiles and SWARM mission data is utilized. The multi-source data is chosen for the geo-magnetic storm conditions prevailed during March 2015. Data from multiple-sources is observed over the period from 15th March 2015 to 20th March 2015. Validation of ground and space-based TEC data with International GNSS service (IGS) station data is significantly observed

Capsule-oriented Programming in the Panini Language

Sequentially-trained programmers, i.e. programmers with little or no training in concurrent program design, remain an important subset of today\u27s IT workforce. Inherent concurrency in modern software together with prevalence of multiple hardware threads due to multicore processors is increasing pressure on these programmers to become adept at concurrency, but they continue to find writing and reasoning about concurrent programs difficult. The difficulties originate from having to write and reason about programs that have a multitude of possible execution orders. We present a novel implicitly-concurrent programming model called capsule-oriented programming that is designed for sequentially-trained programmers. Capsule-oriented programming solves these problems by introducing a new module-like abstraction called capsule that (1) guarantees sequential reasoning within its boundary, and (2) makes those program locations where interleavings may occur explicit. The former property allows programmers to (a) reuse existing sequential code as is and (b) use sequential reasoning for most of their code, and the latter property helps by (c) precisely showing program locations where programmers must reason about concurrent interleavings, and (d) creating opportunities for helping reasoning. We present a realization of this programming model in an extension of Java called Panini. The Panini compiler compiles capsule-oriented programs to standard Java Bytecode
