Jost Function for Singular Potentials
An exact method for direct calculation of the Jost function and Jost
solutions for a repulsive singular potential is presented. Within this method
the Schrodinger equation is replaced by an equivalent system of linear
first-order differential equations, which after complex rotation, can easily be
solved numerically. The Jost function can be obtained to any desired accuracy
for all complex momenta of physical interest, including the spectral points
corresponding to bound and resonant states. The method can also be used in the
complex angular-momentum plane to calculate the Regge trajectories. The
effectiveness of the method is demonstrated using the Lennard-Jones (12,6)
potential. The spectral properties of the realistic inter-atomic He4-He4
potentials HFDHE2 and HFD-B of Aziz and collaborators are also investigated.Comment: 12 pages, latex, 2 eps-figures, submitted to Phys.Rev.

The Three-Boson System with Short-Range Interactions
We discuss renormalization of the non-relativistic three-body problem with
short-range forces. The problem is non-perturbative at momenta of the order of
the inverse of the two-body scattering length. An infinite number of graphs
must be summed, which leads to a cutoff dependence that does not appear in any
order in perturbation theory. We argue that this cutoff dependence can be
absorbed in one local three-body force counterterm and compute the running of
the three-body force with the cutoff. This allows a calculation of the
scattering of a particle and the two-particle bound state if the corresponding
scattering length is used as input. We also obtain a model-independent relation
between binding energy of a shallow three-body bound state and this scattering
length. We comment on the power counting that organizes higher-order
corrections and on relevance of this result for the effective field theory
program in nuclear and molecular physics.Comment: 24 pages, RevTex, 15 PS figures included with epsf.st

Shake-table tests of a reinforced concrete frame designed following modern codes: seismic performance and damage evaluation
This paper presents shake-table tests conducted on a two-fifths-scale reinforced concrete frame representing a conventional construction design under current building code provisions in the Mediterranean area. The structure was subjected to a sequence of dynamic tests including free vibrations and four seismic simulations in which a historical ground motion record was scaled to levels of increasing intensity until collapse. Each seismic simulation was associated with a different level of seismic hazard, representing very frequent, frequent, rare and very rare earthquakes. The structure remained basically undamaged and within the inter-story drift limits of the "immediate occupancy" performance level for the very frequent and frequent earthquakes. For the rare earthquake, the specimen sustained significant damage with chord rotations of up to 28% of its ultimate capacity and approached the upper bound limit of inter-story drift associated with "life safety". The specimen collapsed at the beginning of the "very rare" seismic simulation. Besides summarizing the experimental program, this paper evaluates the damage quantitatively at the global and local levels in terms of chord rotation and other damage indexes, together with the energy dissipation demands for each level of seismic hazard. Further, the ratios of column-to-beam moment capacity recommended by Eurocode 8 and ACI-318 to guarantee the formation of a strong column-weak beam mechanism are examined

Fulfilling the Rights of Social Workers: Aspects of Social Security in Indonesia
The purpose of this article is to describe the fulfillment of social work rights, analyzing the extent to which the government provides social security for social workers. This study uses a qualitative method with a normative juridical approach. The analysis in this study contributes to the fulfillment of social workers' rights in terms of social security and provides recommendations regarding social security regulations as a fulfillment of social workers' rights. The results show that three aspects must be considered in the rights of social workers to social security in Indonesia, namely (1) Fulfillment of Social Workers' Rights, (2) Anticipation of regulations against the risks of social workers, and (3) Social security for social workers in Indonesia. From these three aspects, there are several efforts made by the government in regulation that has issued Law Number 14 of 2019 concerning Social Workers, but the law only regulates the Rights and Obligations of Social Workers in Indonesia. The findings may also impact the lives of social workers, including improved financial well-being, job security, and professional satisfaction. Previous studies have not discussed the aspect of social security as a fulfillment of social workers' rights, so this research contributes to this void by paying attention to the analysis of the fulfillment of social workers' rights in terms of social security aspects

Menakar Eksistensi Guru: Antara Konsep dan Realita dalam Standar Proses Pembelajaran
Education produced quality generations, whether formal or informal. The mandate of Law No. 20 of 2003 states that Education was a conscious and planned effort to create an atmosphere of learning and learning process so that learners actively develop their potential to have strength spiritual, self-control, personality, intelligence, noble character, and skills which is needed them and society. The author analyse there was a gap in the process of applying the curriculum. Keep in mind the geographical, cultural and access in different regions of Indonesia, it becomes an obstacle in the education service. The results obtained that students' understanding of school. The subject matter was weak. At the moment the teacher's role was only as a symbol that carried out teaching assignments in the classroom, without evaluating whether his or her students can understand what has been said? Teachers were only trying to live out what the government has set, but those who accepted the risks are scholars as receiving education
