Search for new phenomena in final states with large jet multiplicities and missing transverse momentum at √s=8 TeV proton-proton collisions using the ATLAS experiment

CERN-LHC. Results are presented of a search that looks for new particles decaying to large numbers (7 to greater or equal to 10) of jets, missing transverse momentum and no isolated electrons or muons. This analysis uses 20.3/fb of pp collision data at sqrt(s)=8 TeV collected by the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider. The sensitivity of the search is enhanced by considering the number of b-tagged jets and the scalar sum of masses of large-radius jets in an event. No evidence is found for physics beyond the Standard Model. The results are interpreted in the context of various simplified supersymmetry-inspired models where gluinos are pair produced, as well as a mSUGRA/CMSSM model. In this HEPDATA record, detailed results are presented for two simplified models, denoted in the paper as - Gluino-stop (off-shell) - and - Gluino-squark (via neutralino) for fixed x=1/2

Measurements of Higgs boson production and couplings in diboson final states with the ATLAS detector at the LHC

CERN-LHC. Measurements of the cross-section times branching ratio for a standard model-like Higgs boson. The results are based on the complete pp collision data sample recorded by the ATLAS experiment at the CERN Large Hadron Collider at centre-of-mass energies of 7 TeV and 8 TeV, corresponding to an integrated luminosity of about 25 fb-1 The following table gives links to the -2ln(likelihood) values for the three channels in the (mu_ggF+ttH*B/BSM,mu_VBF+VH*B/BSM) plane for a Higgs boson mass mH = 125.5 GeV. The display link shows the data as a 2-D grid and the files are the originals from the ATLAS collaboration
