    Political actors play an important role in the defense and development of the country. Without political actors, the country can experience prosperity because there is no actor who leads. The problem to be discussed is the role of the media in showing meaningful and clear information about an actor without excessive framing. In this study, the object to be studied is the mayor of Tangerang, Airin Rachmi Diany. The purpose of this study was to identify and analyze the news construction and media ideology behind the news of Airin Rachmy Diany as a candidate for governor of DKI and Banten in detik.com, kompas.com and tribunnews.com media in the 2024 Pilkada. Political communication theory and Van Djik’s critical discourse theory is the theory used as a reference and analysis in this study. This research paradigm uses a critical paradigm with a qualitative research approach through van djik’s critical discourse analysis method with data collection techniques through observation, documentation and literature study. As for the data analysis technique using Vandjik critical discourse analysis procedures including context and cognition text analysis. The analytical method used in this research is to use critical discourse developed by Teun A. Van Djik. The results prove that the three media are able to give meaningful messages to the audience about actor Airin Rachmi Diany. The media basically gives a big role to each individual because of the information that can be given to the general public. The media can give a diferent impression in the view of each individual. Three elements of Teun Van Djik is identifed in the analysis

    Antimicrobial activity of Silver nanoparticles from Capsicum sp. against Staphylococcus sp., Bacillus sp., Pseudomonas sp. and Escherichia coli

    The Pepper extract acts as a reducing and capping agent in the formation of silver nanoparticles. A UV–Vis spectrum of the aqueous medium containing silver nanoparticles demonstrated a peak at 480 nm corresponding to the Plasmon absorbance of rapidly synthesized silver nanoparticles that was characterize by UV–Visible spectrophotometer.The Antibacterial testing of Pepper extract was evaluate by disk diffusion method using bacteria like Staphylococcus aureus, Bacillus sp., Escherichia coli, and Pseudomonas sp. Study revealed the antibacterial activity of solvent extracts by using pepper; we prepared the silver nanoparticles to enhance its antibacterial property.Antibacterial disc were prepared in five different concentrations such as 100?l, 200?l, 300?l, 400?l and 500?l respectively. The antimicrobial activity of particles showed higher activity in concentration 500?l against the pathogenic Pseudomonas sp. (15) mm of inhibition zone. The higher activity was followed by Bacillus sp. (13) mm of inhibition zone, Staphylococcus sp. (11) mm of inhibition zone and E. coli (10) mm of inhibition zone. This study showed that the extract reveals the concentration dependent activity. The study revealed that the silver nanoparticles from plant extracts could be as a therapeutic agent for human microbial infections. The zone of inhibition seems in both gram positive and gram negative bacterial strains. This study reports that synthesis is useful to avoid toxic chemicals with adverse effects in medical applications rather than physical and chemical methods.Thus, the aim of the study to synthesize silver based bionanoparticles. The present investigations revealed with the isolation and monitoring of silver nanoparticles to produce novel drugs to overcome drug resistance and advance reaction.     Withering timings affect the total free amino acids and mineral contents of tea leaves during black tea manufacturing

    AbstractThe aim of the present study was to investigate the effect of withering timings (i.e. 0, 21, 22, 23 and 24h) on the moisture, total free amino acids, ash, essential and toxic mineral element contents of tea (Camellia sinensis L.) leaves during black tea manufacturing. Moisture, ash, Na, P, Mg, Cu, Zn, Mn, Al, Ni and Pb contents were significantly (P<0.05) affected by withering, whereas non-significant (P>0.05) results were noted for total free amino acids, K, Fe and Cd contents. The highest moisture content (76.4%) was examined in fresh leaves that progressively decreased to 63.8% in 24h withering. Total free amino acid contents gradually increased up to 23h and then decreased. Ash, P, Cu, Zn and Mn contents showed an increasing trend with withering time. Conversely, significantly lowered amounts of Na (162.5mg/kg) and Mg (803mg/kg) were recorded in tea leaves after 24h withering. Among the toxic elements, Al, Ni and Pb contents were progressively increased over withering time. It was concluded that tea is a potential source of essential chemical constituents and during processing proper care should be taken to produce high quality black tea

    UKM ISUN VERA bergerak di bidang olahan lidah buaya sejak tahun 2004, merupakan target IbM melalui proses pendampingan kemitraan, untuk meningkatkan diversifikasi produk olahan lidah buaya, peningkatan kualitas produksi dengan teknologi perbaikan kemasan, pemasaran dengan sistem on line.  Sebelumnya UKM ISUN VERA telah mengolah berbagai kuliner dari  lidah buaya   seperti manisan,  dodol, minuman segar, dan instan aloe merupakan salah icon kuliner Kota Pontianak.Tujuan dari kegiatan IbM ini adalah :1. Terdapat produk baru dari hasil inovasi diversifikasi produk olahan lidah buaya, yang akan menambah keanekaragaman produk yang telah dikenal sebelumnya yaitu kue Brownies, kue Lapis Legit, dan jamu `kunyit asam berbasis aloe; 2. Sistem pemasaran yang lebih modern selain pemasaran yang telah dilakukan selama ini yaitu pemasaran dengan sistem Online seperti pembuatan Web,3. Mendapatkan kemasan yang lebih hygienis dan menarik khas UKM Isun Vera. Pelaksanaan kegiatan  dimulai dengan diskusi bersama Ibu Sunani sebagai pemilik UKM Isun Vera dan peserta pelatihan bagaimana membuat kue Brownies, kue Lapis Legit, dan jamu`kunyit asam berbasis aloe. Selanjutnya dilakukan pelatihandengantujuan untukmemberikan pengetahuan dan keterampilandalam pembuatan kue brownies, lapis legit dan jamu kunyit asam berbasis aloe. Pemasaran dengan system on line yaitu pembuatan web, Pembuatan labeling dan kemasan produk juga diberikan. Peserta IbMsangat bersemangat  mengikuti kegiatan  penyuluhan dan melakukan kegiatan praktek pembuatan aneka kue dan jamu kunyit asam berbasis aloe.  Ketua UKM sangat menyadari dengan adanya diversifikasi olahan kue dan jamu berbasis aloe, dan pembuatan label dan kemasan serta web site akan menambah daya jual produk berbasis aloe dan akan terus membuat produk yang teah di transfer oleh tim IbM. Kata kunci: diversifikasi produk aloe, brownies,lapis legit, jamu kunyit asam

    CO assisted NH3 oxidation

    In the present work, experimental results from the literature on the effect of CO on the NH oxidation in the absence and presence of NO are supplemented with novel flow reactor results and interpreted in terms of a detailed chemical kinetic model. The kinetic model provides a satisfactory prediction over a wide range of conditions for oxidation in flow reactors and for flame speeds of CO/NH. With increasing levels of CO, the generation of chain carriers gradually shifts from being controlled by the amine reaction subset to being dominated by the oxidation chemistry of CO, facilitating reaction at lower temperatures. At elevated temperature, presence of CO causes a change in selectivity of NH oxidation from N to NO. The present work provides a thorough evaluation of the amine subset of the reaction mechanism for the investigated conditions and offers a kinetic model that reliably can be used for post-flame oxidation modeling in engines and gas turbines fueled by ammonia with a hydrocarbon or alcohol as co-fuel

    This research assessed to what extent final-year Muslim accounting students in Malaysia considered Islamic principles when choosing a job after graduation. 356 final-year Muslim accounting students in four Malaysian universities were surveyed using an open-ended job selection scenario. The result shows that reality does not live up to the ideal. Only 16% of the respondents apply Islamic principles in making a job selection decision. The remaining 84% are more concerned with other criteria such as personal interests, salary considerations, and company reputation

    Utilization of cotton candy mango in directly encourage mango processing into derived products. One cotton candy mango derivative products is Dodol. Dodol is expected to be high in fiber. Fiber can be obtained from the addition of seaweed in the manufacture Dodol. The purpose of research is the use in the manufacture of cotton candy mango Dodol with different concentrations ofb glutinous rice and seaweed. The study was conducted using a completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Each study uses comparative glutinous rice and seaweed that is different in each treatment including K1R1 (85:15), K2R2 (80:20), K3R3 (75:25) and K4R4 (70: 30). Parameters measured were moisture content, ash, crude fiber, and organoleptic. The best treatmentis K1R1with sticky riceflour ratio of 85% and15% moisture content of grass yield 10.14; ash content of 0.39; crude fiber of 8.30 overall acceptance
