El referente salmantino en La Pícara Justina de Francisco López de Úbeda se manifiesta de diversas maneras. En primer lugar, se trasluce en las instancias narrativas, narrador y personajes. En efecto, la madre de Justina, esta última y la vieja morisca de la que acaba heredando ésta, haciéndose pasar por su hija, aparecen como remedos de la famosa heroína salmantina de Fernando de Rojas. En segundo lugar, desde el punto de vista de la función referencial, el libro contiene cuatro citas que aluden directamente a la ciudad del Tormes como lugar de redacción del texto. Pero es, sobre todo, en el relato del episodio de La Bigornia, donde el autor utiliza y reelabora tres leitmotivs festivos que remiten directamente al mundo estudiantil salmantino de la época (Lunes de aguas, bigornias, obispillo)

Detection-aided liver lesion segmentation using deep learning

A fully automatic technique for segmenting the liver and localizing its unhealthy tissues is a convenient tool in order to diagnose hepatic diseases and assess the response to the according treatments. In this work we propose a method to segment the liver and its lesions from Computed Tomography (CT) scans using Convolutional Neural Networks (CNNs), that have proven good results in a variety of computer vision tasks, including medical imaging. The network that segments the lesions consists of a cascaded architecture, which first focuses on the region of the liver in order to segment the lesions on it. Moreover, we train a detector to localize the lesions, and mask the results of the segmentation network with the positive detections. The segmentation architecture is based on DRIU, a Fully Convolutional Network (FCN) with side outputs that work on feature maps of different resolutions, to finally benefit from the multi-scale information learned by different stages of the network. The main contribution of this work is the use of a detector to localize the lesions, which we show to be beneficial to remove false positives triggered by the segmentation network. La Pícara Justina: entre l’Espagne, la France et l’Italie

Les traductions italienne et française de La Pícara Justina (édition princeps 1605) illustrent parfaitement les deux choix fondamentaux de toute version littéraire au XVIIe siècle : la traduction par substitution abstraite (en œuvre dans La Narquoise Justine 1635) et l’exercice du mot à mot qui n’exclut pas l’escamotage et les ajouts (cf. La Pícara Giustina, 1624-1629). Cependant, ces deux élections opposées se doublent chez Charles Sorel et Barezzo Barezzi d’un parti pris commun aulique, anachronique et narratologique qui jure avec le contenu et l’esprit même du texte original qu’il s’agisse de l’édition de Barcelone de 1605 (source de la version française) ou de l’édition de Bruxelles de 1608 (source de la version en italien). L’ensemble de ces phénomènes de transtextualité contribue à isoler encore davantage La Pícara Justina dans sa spécificité littéraire, sociale et idéologique.Las traducciones italianas y francesas de La Pícara Justina (edición príncipe 1605) ilustran perfectamente las dos opciones fundamentales de toda traducción literaria, en el siglo XVII : la traducción por sustitución abstracta (a la obra en La Narquoise Justine de 1635) y la traducción literal (cf. La Pícara Giustina 1624-1629). Sin embargo, a estas dos alternativas opuestas se le añaden en Charles Sorel y Barezzo Barezzi unos presupuestos áulicos, anacrónicos y narratológicos que no casan con el contenido y el espíritu mismo del texto original trátese de la edición de Barcelona de 1605 (fuente de la versión francesa) o de la edición de Bruselas de 1608 (fuente de la traducción italiana). El conjunto de estos fenómenos de transtextualidad contribuye a aislar todavía más La Pícara Justina en su especifidad literaria, social e ideológica.The Italian and French versions of La Picara Justina (plublished by Princeps in 1605) are perfect illustrations of the fundamental choice made by any weary traduction, in the 17th century : whether to proceed by means of abstract substitution (as in La Narquoise Justine 1635) or by word for word translation (cf. La Pícara Giustina, 1624-1629). However, these differing forms of translation are couplet by Charles Sorel and Barezzo Barezzi with a shared aulic, anachronistic and narratological bias which clashes with the subject-matter and the very spirit of the original text, whether it be the edition of Barcelone 1605 (source of the French version) or that of Brussels in 1608 (source of the Italian one). Taken together these examples of trantextuality contribute to the increasing isolation of La Picara Justina in its literacy, social and ideological specificity

Fiesta estudiantil, jesuitismo y lucha de influencias en una relación manuscrita de 1580

Este trabajo es un estudio de una relación manuscrita y anónima de sucesos hallada en la BNE. Narra la reyerta sangrienta que opuso a los estudiantes del Colegio de San Ildefonso de Alcalá de Henares frente al vicario de la iglesia magistral de la ciudad complutense el 5 de diciembre de 1580. Esta rebelión se desató a causa del afán de preeminencia de la Iglesia sobre la Universidad el mismo día en que los estudiantes celebraban la fiesta de su patrono: San Nicolás. Todo acabó como el rosario de la aurora, con la llegada al día siguiente de un juez de casa y corte que dispersó a los colegiales por los alrededores de Alcalá. El autor propone la autoría de un estudiante jesuita.This paper is a study of an anonymous manuscript news pamphlets about events that took place in Alcala de Henares. It narrates the bloody brawl that pitted the students of St. Ildefonso College in Alcala de Henares against the Vicar of the magisterial church of the city on December 5th 1580. The affray was caused by the eagerness of both the church and the university to show which had the upper hand on the day that the students were celebrating the saint's day of their patron, St. Nicolas. The whole business ended up as if nothing had happened, as, on the next day, a judge arrived from Madrid and dispersed the students around Alcala. It is argued that the author of this news pamphlets was a Jesuit student

Cet article est un essai de littérature comparée sur trois textes de la fin du xvie et du début du xviie siècle, d’auteurs français ou espagnols, qui ont pour point commun de faire le portrait de la vie des gueux à travers la pseudo-autobiographie d’un personnage évoluant parmi eux dans des espaces différents (Charente, Loire-Atlantique, Poitou, Séville, Rome).
