The genus Atheas Champion is revised. A key to all 14 species cataloged in the genus is included. Species occurring in Mexico are redefined and illustrated. Descriptions of species not occurring in Mexico are also provided. Host plant information has been included, when available

    Transport coefficients of heavy baryons

We compute the transport coefficients (drag and momentum diffusion) of the low-lying heavy baryons Λc\Lambda_c and Λb\Lambda_b in a medium of light mesons formed at the later stages of high-energy heavy-ion collisions. We employ the Fokker-Planck approach to obtain the transport coefficients from unitarized baryon-meson interactions based on effective field theories that respect chiral and heavy-quark symmetries. We provide the transport coefficients as a function of temperature and heavy-baryon momentum, and analyze the applicability of certain nonrelativistic estimates. Moreover we compare our outcome for the spatial diffusion coefficient to the one coming from the solution of the Boltzmann-Uehling-Uhlenbeck transport equation and we find a very good agreement between both calculations. The transport coefficients for Λc\Lambda_c and Λb\Lambda_b in a thermal bath will be used in a subsequent publication as input in a Langevin evolution code for the generation and propagation of heavy particles in heavy-ion collisions at LHC and RHIC energies.Comment: 26 pages, 12 figures.

Codi: HP1036. The Roman civilization was developed during twelve centuries between which they differentiate three different stages: Monarchy, Republic and Empire. It was in this last stage when the Roman culture expanded by the vast territory that extends from the northern border of Britania with the Scottish lands, until the historical Mesopotamia; from the courses of the Rhine and Danube rivers to the Iberian Peninsula and the Mediterranean coasts of Africa. Their customs and traditions were introduced in the conquered territories and they became part of our present life

FOOD, WOMEN AND POWER IN THE WORK OF TENNESSEE WILLIAMS

Food is a semiotic code that transcends biology and integrates into culture –culinary rules, restrictions, and traditions are a sign of the relationships between the members of a community. This paper reviews various examples of alimentary language in the works of American playwright Tennessee Williams in order to reveal how his most indomitable women –especially those in his short stories– use food as a means to exert their authority on their male counterparts
