Considerando o investimento inicial que a unidade consumidora deve dispender para a implementação do sistema fotovoltaico, bem como as políticas governamentais de incentivo e os impostos incidentes em todo esse processo, busca-se analisar a viabilidade da implementação de um sistema de energia alternativa e renovável, que, além de reduzir os custos da concessão de energia elétrica, contribuirá para a mitigação de impactos ambientais negativos. Diante dos resultados obtidos no presente estudo, este trabalho permite demonstrar que a produção de energia elétrica a partir da energia solar fotovoltaica está cada vez mais acessível à população brasileira, graças aos sucessivos aumentos da tarifa de energia elétrica fornecida pelas concessionárias e da progressiva redução do custo de instalação do sistema fotovoltaico no país.     Prevalence of Diabetes and Incidence of Angiopathy in Patients with Chronic Viral Liver Disease

    Patients with chronic liver disease (CLD) often develops glucose intolerance. We explored the prevalence of diabetes mellitus in viral CLD, and analyzed factors profoundly affecting the diabetic angiopathies. 229 CLD patients (124 chronic hepatitis and 105 liver cirrhosis) entered the study. The diagnosis of diabetes was made with the criteria by World Health Organization. Laboratory investigation included serum asparate aminotransferase, alanine aminotransferase, albumin, fasting blood sugar, hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c), fasting immunoreactive insulin, and HOMA-R (FBS*IRI/405). The incidence of macro- and microangiopathy were also examined. Forty (17.5%) CLD patients were diagnosed diabetes, giving a significantly higher incidence than that of general cohort (5.3%) (p<0.001). Among them, 12 (30%) had the triopathy, significantly lower than that in a matched group of diabetic patients without CLD (65%) (p<0.001). Significantly increased levels of HbA1c and HOMA-R were observed in diabetic CLD with angiopathy compared with diabetic CLD without. Incidence of diabetes was increased in viral CLD patients. The rate of diabetic angiopathies in CLD, however, was relatively low, this could be explained by low coagulability in these patients. Poor control of hyperglycemia, partly due to insulin resistance, might explain the onset of angiopathy in diabetic CLD

    Research on the feeling of accepting sexual minority of college students : Focusing on empathic attitude towards sexual minority

    現代の日本では,セクシュアルマイノリティ非当事者は,当事者を十分に理解していないため,当事者のことを理解し受容していくことが重要である。そのため,本研究ではセクシュアルマイノリティ受容感を高めるための要因について検討した。研究1では,セクシュアルマイノリティ受容感に当事者との個人的接触経験や異質拒否傾向の低さ,「性の多様性」授業を通して当事者への共感的態度が形成されることが関連していることが明らかになった。研究2では,セクシュアルマイノリティへの共感的態度に着目した「性の多様性」授業の効果について検討した。その結果,セクシュアルマイノリティへの共感的態度に着目して授業を行うことは,セクシュアルマイノリティ受容感を高める上で,有効であることが明らかになった。In modern Japan, it is important for sexual minority non-parties to understand and accept the parties because they do not fully understand them. Therefore, in this study, we examined the factor for increasing the feeling of accepting sexual minority.In Study 1, it was clarified that the feeling of accepting sexual minority were related to personal contact experience with the parties, low of tendency toward uniformity in friendship groups and empathic attitude to the parties formed through “sexual diversity” class. In Study 2, we examined the effect of “sexual diversity” class focusing on empathic attitude toward sexual minority. As the result, it was clarified that the class focusing on the empathetic attitude toward sexual minority was effective in raising the feeling accepting of sexual minority

    本研究の目的は,看護系大学教員の仕事における困難感について明らかにすることである.研究依頼に同意 した関東圏内にある私立看護系大学14 校の教員を対象とし郵送法による無記名自記式質問紙調査を実施した. 有効回答者97 人を対象に内容分析を行った.その結果,170 コードが抽出され,67 のサブカテゴリ―,6 のカテゴリー【教授活動における困難感】,【学生指導における困難感】,【職務における困難感】,【研究活動に おける困難感】,【上司との関係における困難感】,【同僚との関係における困難感】が生成された.今後は,教 員個々の教育力や指導力の向上を促進する組織としての取り組みや教員組織間の人間関係の円滑化を図る職場 環境づくりを目指す必要がある

    Current status and issues of child developmental support in pediatric wards : A case study on the employment and human resources of childcare workers

    小児がんなど長期的あるいは,継続的に入院や治療を受けねばならない子どもが存在する。そのような子どもは,「子どもらしい姿」を表出しにくい環境におかれ,発達期に欠かせない遊びや人間関係形成,義務教育を受けられずにいるという現状がある。本研究では,医療的ケアの必要な子どもを支える専門職としての病棟保育士の職務の実態を明らかにし,子どもや家族を多角的に支える環境づくりに向けて,病棟保育士の職務上の改善点や問題点を確認することを目的とする。調査対象者は,北部九州圏域の病院に勤務する病棟保育士4名を対象とした。アンケートは2019年7月から8月にかけて,インタビューは2019年9月から10月にかけて実施された。これらの調査及びインタビューによって,次のことが示された。病棟保育士はより良い保育環境を整えるために,配置される人員の余裕を望んでいること。そして,単独配置になっている病棟保育士は,一人職場の困難感を感じていることが示された。早急な課題として,病棟保育士の雇用の確保と現場の増員が求められると考えられる

    Variants of C-C Motif Chemokine 22 (CCL22) Are Associated with Susceptibility to Atopic Dermatitis: Case-Control Studies

    Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a common inflammatory skin disease caused by multiple genetic and environmental factors. AD is characterized by the local infiltration of T helper type 2 (Th2) cells. Recent clinical studies have shown important roles of the Th2 chemokines, CCL22 and CCL17 in the pathogenesis of AD. To investigate whether polymorphisms of the CCL22 gene affect the susceptibility to AD, we conducted association studies and functional studies of the related variants. We first resequenced the CCL22 gene and found a total of 39 SNPs. We selected seven tag SNPs in the CCL22 gene, and conducted association studies using two independent Japanese populations (1st population, 916 cases and 1,032 controls; 2nd population 1,034 cases and 1,004 controls). After the association results were combined by inverse variance method, we observed a significant association at rs4359426 (meta-analysis, combined P = 9.6×10−6; OR, 0.74; 95% CI, 0.65–0.85). Functional analysis revealed that the risk allele of rs4359426 contributed to higher expression levels of CCL22 mRNA. We further examined the allelic differences in the binding of nuclear proteins by electrophoretic mobility shift assay. The signal intensity of the DNA-protein complex derived from the G allele of rs223821, which was in absolute LD with rs4359426, was higher than that from the A allele. Although further functional analyses are needed, it is likely that related variants play a role in susceptibility to AD in a gain-of-function manner. Our findings provide a new insight into the etiology and pathogenesis of AD

    ORAI1 Genetic Polymorphisms Associated with the Susceptibility of Atopic Dermatitis in Japanese and Taiwanese Populations

    Atopic dermatitis is a chronic inflammatory skin disease. Multiple genetic and environmental factors are thought to be responsible for susceptibility to AD. In this study, we collected 2,478 DNA samples including 209 AD patients and 729 control subjects from Taiwanese population and 513 AD patients and 1027 control subject from Japanese population for sequencing and genotyping ORAI1. A total of 14 genetic variants including 3 novel single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) in the ORAI1 gene were identified. Our results indicated that a non-synonymous SNP (rs3741596, Ser218Gly) associated with the susceptibility of AD in the Japanese population but not in the Taiwanese population. However, there is another SNP of ORAI1 (rs3741595) associated with the risk of AD in the Taiwanese population but not in the Japanese population. Taken together, our results indicated that genetic polymorphisms of ORAI1 are very likely to be involved in the susceptibility of AD

    Cartilage-Specific Over-Expression of CCN Family Member 2/Connective Tissue Growth Factor (CCN2/CTGF) Stimulates Insulin-Like Growth Factor Expression and Bone Growth

    Previously we showed that CCN family member 2/connective tissue growth factor (CCN2) promotes the proliferation, differentiation, and maturation of growth cartilage cells in vitro. To elucidate the specific role and molecular mechanism of CCN2 in cartilage development in vivo, in the present study we generated transgenic mice overexpressing CCN2 and analyzed them with respect to cartilage and bone development. Transgenic mice were generated expressing a ccn2/lacZ fusion gene in cartilage under the control of the 6 kb-Col2a1-enhancer/promoter. Changes in cartilage and bone development were analyzed histologically and immunohistologically and also by micro CT. Primary chondrocytes as well as limb bud mesenchymal cells were cultured and analyzed for changes in expression of cartilage-related genes, and non-transgenic chondrocytes were treated in culture with recombinant CCN2. Newborn transgenic mice showed extended length of their long bones, increased content of proteoglycans and collagen II accumulation. Micro-CT analysis of transgenic bones indicated increases in bone thickness and mineral density. Chondrocyte proliferation was enhanced in the transgenic cartilage. In in vitro short-term cultures of transgenic chondrocytes, the expression of col2a1, aggrecan and ccn2 genes was substantially enhanced; and in long-term cultures the expression levels of these genes were further enhanced. Also, in vitro chondrogenesis was strongly enhanced. IGF-I and IGF-II mRNA levels were elevated in transgenic chondrocytes, and treatment of non-transgenic chondrocytes with recombinant CCN2 stimulated the expression of these mRNA. The addition of CCN2 to non-transgenic chondrocytes induced the phosphorylation of IGFR, and ccn2-overexpressing chondrocytes showed enhanced phosphorylation of IGFR. Our data indicates that the observed effects of CCN2 may be mediated in part by CCN2-induced overexpression of IGF-I and IGF-II. These findings indicate that CCN2-overexpression in transgenic mice accelerated the endochondral ossification processes, resulting in increased length of their long bones. Our results also indicate the possible involvement of locally enhanced IGF-I or IGF-II in this extended bone growth
