Analysis of asthenic phenomens in patients with type 2nd diabetes mellitus in the clinical and psychological aspect
Aim – to analyze the peculiarities of asthenic manifestations in patients with type 2nd diabetes mellitus (DM) in clinical and psychological perspective. Materials and methods. We examined in 543 patients with type 2nd DM. The first clinical group (CG-1) was 57 patients with type 2nd DM of mild severity; the average age in the group was (51,80±1,28) years. The second clinical group (CG-2) made up of 312 patients with type 2nd DM, moderate severity; mean age in the group was (55,10±1,12) years. The third clinical group (CG-3) included 174 patients with type 2nd DM, severe degree of severity; the average age in the group was (61.80±0,85) years. Research methods: clinical-anamnestic, clinical-psychopathological, statistical. Results. The marked prevalence of asthenic syndrome in patients wath type 2nd DM 52,30%, which is almost half among all surveyed type 2nd DM. Discovered the direct correlation of asthenic symptoms with the severity of the type 2nd DM (rs = 0.4033, p<0.01). The factors in the risk of asthenic syndrome in patients with type 2nd DM was installed, among them is dominated by a moderate and severe degree of type 2nd DM, combined with obesity 2 degrees, DEP II degree, ischemic heart disease, heart failure, degenerative dystrophic lesions of the spine. Established that there is a direct correlation asthenic syndrome to the severity of type 2nd DM, as well as the accompanying somatic pathology. Established dominance in CG-1 and CG-2 component fatigue "mental fatigue" and CG-3 component "physical fatigue".Conclusions. Features of asthenic manifestations in patients with type 2nd DM in clinical and psychological perspective were investigated. The detection rate of asthenic manifestations among patients with type 2nd DM and the factors for their amplification were established. The organic etiology of asthenic manifestations have been proven; presentation about the stages of development of asthenic symptoms in patients with type 2nd DM were improved
Materials and Methods of the Study of Influence of Agrotechnical Methods on Sensory Characteristics of Technical Sorts of Grape
The topicality of using the sensory analysis of berries in enological practice at planning of agrotechnical complex at vineyard to receive the certain style and quality of production was grounded. For study of the influence of agrotechnical methods on sensory characteristics of technical sorts of grape Zagrey and Fragrant, selected by NSC “IVaW named after V.E. Tairov” (Ukraine), there was elaborated the algorithm of research, including field experiment and laboratory sensory analysis. The method of organoleptic analysis of berries, consisted of 20 parameters for assessment of visual, tactile and gustatory properties of pulp, peel and seeds, was approbated. Mathematical processing of experimental data was carried out by the methods of one- and two-factor analysis of variance and analysis of main components in the environment of package of applied programs MS Excell 2010, Statistica Statsoft ver. 7. 0 (Tulsa, USA).The sensory descriptors, characterizing the quality of studied sorts of grape, were determined. It was established, that agrotechnical methods of planting grape bushes influenced the sensory characteristics of berries of studied sorts
Unfolding and unzipping of single-stranded DNA by stretching
We present a theoretical study of single-stranded DNA under stretching.
Within the proposed framework, the effects of basepairing on the mechanical
response of the molecule can be studied in combination with an arbitrary
underlying model of chain elasticity. In a generic case, we show that the
stretching curve of ssDNA exhibits two distinct features: the second-order
"unfolding" phase transition, and a sharp crossover, reminiscent of the
first-order "unzipping" transition in dsDNA. We apply the theory to the
particular cases of Worm-like Chain (WLC) and Freely-Joint Chain (FJC) models,
and discuss the universal and model--dependent features of the mechanical
response of ssDNA. In particular, we show that variation of the width of the
unzipping crossover with interaction strength is very sensitive to the
energetics of hairpin loops. This opens a new way of testing the elastic
properties of ssDNA.Comment: 7 pages, 4 figures, substantially revised versio

The article treats off the morphology of the larvae of
Common Spadefoot Toad inhabiting Volyn and Chernihiv Polissia. The span of analysis extended from the moment of their mass leaving the jelly envelopes up to the end of metamorphosis. The article studies the structure of the sucker and mouthparts, dynamics of larvae’s linear parameters. The achieved results testify to the absence of significant differences in the said species’ larvae’s structure of the sucker and mouthparts, as well as their linear parameters’ dynamics.Работа выполнена на кафедре экологии и охраны

Vortices in Spatially Inhomogeneous Superfluids
We study vortices in a radially inhomogeneous superfluid, as realized by a
trapped degenerate Bose gas in a uniaxially symmetric potential. We show that,
in contrast to a homogeneous superfluid, an off-axis vortex corresponds to an
anisotropic superflow whose profile strongly depends on the distance to the
trap axis. One consequence of this superflow anisotropy is vortex precession
about the trap axis in the absence of an imposed rotation. In the complementary
regime of a finite prescribed rotation, we compute the minimum-energy vortex
density, showing that in the rapid-rotation limit it is extremely uniform,
despite a strongly inhomogeneous (nearly) Thomas-Fermi condensate density
. The weak radially-dependent contribution () to the vortex distribution, that vanishes with the
number of vortices as , arises from the interplay between
vortex quantum discretness (namely their inability to faithfully support the
imposed rigid-body rotation) and the inhomogeneous superfluid density. This
leads to an enhancement of the vortex density at the center of a typical
concave trap, a prediction that is in quantitative agreement with recent
experiments (cond-mat/0405240). One striking consequence of the inhomogeneous
vortex distribution is an azimuthally-directed, radially-shearing superflow.Comment: 22 RevTeX pages, 20 figures, Submitted to PR
Effects of Kinks on DNA Elasticity
We study the elastic response of a worm-like polymer chain with reversible
kink-like structural defects. This is a generic model for (a) the
double-stranded DNA with sharp bends induced by binding of certain proteins,
and (b) effects of trans-gauche rotations in the backbone of the
single-stranded DNA. The problem is solved both analytically and numerically by
generalizing the well-known analogy to the Quantum Rotator. In the small
stretching force regime, we find that the persistence length is renormalized
due to the presence of the kinks. In the opposite regime, the response to the
strong stretching is determined solely by the bare persistence length with
exponential corrections due to the ``ideal gas of kinks''. This high-force
behavior changes significantly in the limit of high bending rigidity of the
chain. In that case, the leading corrections to the mechanical response are
likely to be due to the formation of multi-kink structures, such as kink pairs.Comment: v1: 16 pages, 7 figures, LaTeX; submitted to Physical Review E; v2: a

Biomarkers of platinum resistance in serous ovarian cancer
The study was aimed to determine the platinum-resistance biomarkers in patients
with ovarian cancer. The expression of ABCA1 is higher in platinum-resistant cases of ovarian
cancer. The most pronounced relationship exists between the values of survivin expression, local
activity of nitric oxide, the expression of glutathione dependent enzymes, the content of
catecholamines in erythrocytes, and the expression of ABCA1 transporte
