Analysis of probability of non-zero secrecy capacity for multi-hop networks in presence of hardware impairments over Nakagami-m fading channels
In this paper, we evaluate probability of non-zero secrecy capacity of multi-hop relay networks over Nakagamim fading channels in presence of hardware impairments. In the considered protocol, a source attempts to transmit its data to a destination by using multi-hop randomize-and-forward (RF) strategy. The data transmitted by the source and relays are overheard by an eavesdropper. For performance evaluation, we derive exact expressions of probability of non-zero secrecy capacity (PoNSC), which are expressed by sums of infinite series of exponential functions and exponential integral functions. We then perform Monte Carlo simulations to verify the theoretical analysis.Web of Science25478277
Secrecy performance enhancement for underlay cognitive radio networks employing cooperative multi-hop transmission with and without presence of hardware impairments
In this paper, we consider a cooperative multi-hop secured transmission protocol to underlay cognitive radio networks. In the proposed protocol, a secondary source attempts to transmit its data to a secondary destination with the assistance of multiple secondary relays. In addition, there exists a secondary eavesdropper who tries to overhear the source data. Under a maximum interference level required by a primary user, the secondary source and relay nodes must adjust their transmit power. We first formulate effective signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio (SINR) as well as secrecy capacity under the constraints of the maximum transmit power, the interference threshold and the hardware impairment level. Furthermore, when the hardware impairment level is relaxed, we derive exact and asymptotic expressions of end-to-end secrecy outage probability over Rayleigh fading channels by using the recursive method. The derived expressions were verified by simulations, in which the proposed scheme outperformed the conventional multi-hop direct transmission protocol.Web of Science212art. no. 21
The Venezuelan migration in Colombia : a pastoral challenge for the Scalabrinians
VenezolanosColombovenezolanosScalabrinianosFrom the reality of Bogotá - Colombia, in these recent years, we can easily meet the coming of thousands of Venezuelans or also the Colombians, who were living for many years in Venezuela. In fact, the seriousness of the immigration phenomenon is real, however, the Church, who is a Mother as well, cannot stay far from her children. So that, She should work on their behalf, approach more to the context; offer the criterions to discern for a transformation of the reality. This paper makes the effort to comprehend and to respond to this issue from a moral social vision.

Security-reliability analysis of noma-based multi-hop relay networks in presence of an active eavesdropper with imperfect eavesdropping CSI
In this paper, we evaluate system performances of a multi-hop relay protocol with presence of an active eavesdropper. In the proposed protocol, a source attempts to transmit its data to a destination with assistance of multiple intermediate relays. From the eavesdropping Channel State Information (CSI) estimated, the source and relays adjust their transmit power so that the eavesdropper cannot overhear the transmitted data. Moreover, to enhance throughput for the proposed system, Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) technique with a simple power allocation is also proposed. We derive exact closed-form expressions of the Outage Probability (OP) and throughput for the data transmission over Rayleigh fading channel. In addition, when the CSI estimation is imperfect, Intercept Probability (IP) at the eavesdropper is derived. Finally, Monte Carlo simulations are presented to verify the theoretical derivations

Effectiveness of Spironolactone in Terms of Galectin-3 Levels in Patients with Heart Failure with a Reduced Ejection Fraction in the Vietnamese Population
Background: Galectin-3 is a biomarker that has been demonstrated to play a significant role in myocardial fibrosis and remodeling in the pathogenesis of heart failure. Furthermore, spironolactone has the ability to control galectin-3 levels in heart failure patients. Objectives: The aim of our study was to determine the factors associated with the increase in galectin-3 and the alteration of galectin-3 concentration in patients with heart failure with a reduced ejection fraction after 12 weeks of treatment with spironolactone. Materials and methods: A cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted on 122 patients with heart failure with a reduced ejection fraction. Those patients were nonusers of spironolactone and presented for examination or had been hospitalized at the Can Tho Cardiovascular Hospital in Vietnam. The demographic and cardiovascular risk factor details were obtained at baseline, and galectin-3 levels were measured at baseline and also 12 weeks after taking spironolactone 25 mg once daily vs. 50 mg once daily. Results: The median baseline galectin-3 was 54.82 ± 26.06. Galectin-3 levels were positively correlated with age, NT-proBNP, and negatively correlated between EF and galectin-3 levels (p p p p < 0.05) (reduced 6.87%), respectively. Conclusion: Treatment with spironolactone played an essential role in reducing galectin-3 concentrations, especially spironolactone 50 mg once daily, which showed a significant effect on reducing galectin-3 compared with a 25 mg once-daily dose
PHÂN LẬP CÁC CHỦNG VI KHUẨN HIẾU KHÍ CÓ KHẢ NĂNG PHÂN HỦY CHLORPYRIFOS TRONG ĐẤT TRỒNG RAU MÀU Ở TỈNH LÂM ĐỒNG
This study aims to isolate aerobic bacteria strains for decomposing chlorpyrifos in soil in Lam Dong. The number of microorganisms for decomposing chlorpyrifos can be increased by incubating the soil samples in MSM medium supplemented with chlorpyrifos (20 mg/L) as the only carbon source. Three aerobic bacteria strains were isolated after the separating each bacterial strain and investigating the decomposition ability chlorpyrifos processing, which were further named as T1, W3 and B2, respectively. In particular, T1, W3 and B2 strains removed 50.4%, 59.3% and 62.2% of chlorpyrifos after 14 days of culture in MSM medium in supplementation with 20 mg/L chlorpyrifos, respectively. Acinetobacter calcoaceticus, Bacillus megaterium and Sphingomonas pseudosanguinis were identified by 16S rRNA gene sequencing. The three strains of bacteria exhibit ability to degrade chlorpyrifos when added to the soil environment. These results suggested that the isolated bacteria strains can be applied to treat contaminated soil with pesticides and irritate the plant growing.Nghiên cứu này được thực hiện với mục đích phân lập được các chủng vi khuẩn hiếu khí có khả năng phân hủy dư lượng thuốc bảo vệ thực vật chlorpyrifos tồn dư trong đất tại Lâm Đồng.
