Application of Grouting Water Plugging Technology in Enriched Water Mountain Tunnel

    Get PDF
In the expressway built in Chongqing northeast region, the tunnel occupies a large proportion in the total mileage. Long mountain tunnels with large buried depth and complex geological conditions are common in this area, which are prone to water gusher disasters during construction, which seriously threaten the construction quality and affect the operation of the expressway after it is completed and opened to traffic. In this paper, Jixinling Tunnel under construction in Wuzhen Expressway is taken as an example. Combined with advanced geological forecast data and site conditions, appropriate grouting materials and reasonable and feasible construction technology are selected for the surrounding advanced curtain grouting reinforcement and water plugging treatment, which effectively controls the water gushing disaster of the tunnel and ensures the safety of the construction process. It can provide some reference for the treatment of water gushing disease in mountain tunnel under similar geological conditions

Reflections on the Information Management System for Highway Tunnel Construction

In the process of tunnel construction in China, various accidental and unforeseen factors arise, making it a complex and intersecting endeavor involving multiple stakeholders. Safety risks are particularly prominent in tunnel construction due to its inherent nature. With the advancement of information technology, intelligent systems, and the Internet, leveraging advanced internet technologies becomes feasible for comprehensive monitoring of the entire tunnel construction process and dynamic management of all relevant information. This facilitates the intelligent and information of tunnel construction, reduces quality and safety risks, and elevates the level of tunnel construction management. This paper provides a thoughtful design for the information system of tunnel construction, aiming to serve as a reference for the development of information in tunnel engineering

Application Analysis of Ecological Slope Protection Technology for Mountain Highway Slope

With the standard of living in China is improved constantly, the construction of expressway in northeast Chongqing has also witnessed a rapid growth. The process of the construction of mountain road, the cuttings and embarkment of the road would definitely cause the distortion and movement of the high slope and create a large amount of lose sand, which seriously threat the safety of high slopes. Meanwhile, the engineering also causes destruction the original vegetation, which is hard to restore. Therefore, in the construction of expressway in mountainous areas, we should hold on to the idea of green development and adopt the combination of engineering protection and vegetational protection. The project should be revised constantly according to the situation and reduce its negative affect on ecological environment as much as possible

    Perspectives on ENCODE

The Encylopedia of DNA Elements (ENCODE) Project launched in 2003 with the long-term goal of developing a comprehensive map of functional elements in the human genome. These included genes, biochemical regions associated with gene regulation (for example, transcription factor binding sites, open chromatin, and histone marks) and transcript isoforms. The marks serve as sites for candidate cis-regulatory elements (cCREs) that may serve functional roles in regulating gene expression1. The project has been extended to model organisms, particularly the mouse. In the third phase of ENCODE, nearly a million and more than 300,000 cCRE annotations have been generated for human and mouse, respectively, and these have provided a valuable resource for the scientific community.11Nsciescopu

Expanded encyclopaedias of DNA elements in the human and mouse genomes

AbstractThe human and mouse genomes contain instructions that specify RNAs and proteins and govern the timing, magnitude, and cellular context of their production. To better delineate these elements, phase III of the Encyclopedia of DNA Elements (ENCODE) Project has expanded analysis of the cell and tissue repertoires of RNA transcription, chromatin structure and modification, DNA methylation, chromatin looping, and occupancy by transcription factors and RNA-binding proteins. Here we summarize these efforts, which have produced 5,992 new experimental datasets, including systematic determinations across mouse fetal development. All data are available through the ENCODE data portal (https://www.encodeproject.org), including phase II ENCODE1 and Roadmap Epigenomics2 data. We have developed a registry of 926,535 human and 339,815 mouse candidate cis-regulatory elements, covering 7.9 and 3.4% of their respective genomes, by integrating selected datatypes associated with gene regulation, and constructed a web-based server (SCREEN; http://screen.encodeproject.org) to provide flexible, user-defined access to this resource. Collectively, the ENCODE data and registry provide an expansive resource for the scientific community to build a better understanding of the organization and function of the human and mouse genomes.11Nsciescopu
