EFL LEARNERS’ PERCEPTION ABOUT PREFIXES AND SUFFIXES IN ENGLISH MORPHOLOGY

    Get PDF
Affix knowledge is crucial for enhancing word knowledge in English morphology. Understanding the meaning of affixes not only helps develop knowledge of words but also helps master grammar. This study uses a questionnaire to assess the knowledge of prefixes and affixes and determine students' awareness of affixes. The 21 students participating in the study were all students of the 45th course, majoring in high-quality English. A survey about affix identification was given to participants, to determine their definitions and perceptions of prefixes and suffixes in English morphology. The results show that students can identify a common affix but have difficulty with strange affixes. However, to understand affixes well and be good at morphological awareness, students need to cultivate and understand the theoretical aspects of this knowledge. Another inference of these findings is favorable in the discussion part.  Article visualizations

Among the antitumor drugs, bacterial enzyme L-asparaginase has been employed as the most effective chemotherapeutic agent in pediatric oncotherapy especially for acute lymphoblastic leukemia. In previous study, the L-asparaginase from Erwinia chrysanthermy was expressed in Escherichia coli BL21(DE3). The recombinant L-asparaginase was produced from recombinant E.coli BL21(DE3) under different cultivation conditions (inducer concentration, inoculum concentration and KH2PO4 concentration). The optimized conditions by response surface methodology using face centered central composite design. The analysis of variance coupled with larger value of R2 (0.9) showed that the quadratic model used for the prediction was highly significant (p 0.05). Under the optimized conditions, the model produced L-asparaginase activity of 123.74 U/ml at 1.03 mM IPTG, 3% (v/v) inoculum and 0.5% (w/v) KH2PO4. Recombinant protein was purified by two step using gel filtration and DEAE chromatography. The purified L-asparaginase had a molecular mass of 37 kDa with specific activity of 462 U/mg and identified by MALDI-TOF mass spectrometry. Results of MALDI-TOF analysis confirmed that recombinant protein was L-asparaginase II. Recombinant L-asparaginase has antiproliferative activity with K562 cell line. In conclusion, this study has innovatively developed cultivation conditions for better production of recombinant L-asparaginase in shake flask culture

Visualizing green finance and green growth relationships with power bi tools

This article provides an overview of the concept of green finance and its role in promoting sustainable economic growth, with a particular focus on the top 15 countries with the highest GDP and green growth index from 2010 to 2019. The article discusses the negative impact of energy consumption on the environment and highlights the need for a shift towards a low-carbon, resource-efficient, and socially inclusive economy.  Data from 186 countries were collected from the World Bank and the OECD's iLibrary for the years 2010 to 2019, and the analysis method involved descriptive statistical analysis and simple linear regression analysis using the DAX function language in Power BI. The research findings reveal that CO2 emissions and economic financial indicators are interrelated, and using Power BI tool visualizing green finance data  shows the correlation between GDP and CO2 emissions and highlights the countries that have achieved high levels of green finance. The article concludes by suggesting several solutions to promote green finance on a global scale, including establishing funding sources that prioritize green finance projects, creating green investment opportunities, and improving legal regulations to support the development of green finance

    Vitali's theorem without uniform boundedness

    Get PDF
Let {fm}m≥1 be a sequence of holomorphic functions defined on a bounded domain D ⊂ Cn or a sequence of rational functions (1 ≤ deg rm ≤ m) defined on Cn. We are interested infinding sufficient conditions to ensure the convergence of {fm}m≥1 on a large set provided the convergence holds pointwise on a not too small set. This type of result is inspired from a theorem of Vitali which gives a positive answer for uniformly bounded sequence

STIRLING ENGINE: FROM DESIGN TO APPLICATION INTO PRACTICE AND EDUCATION

Stirling motor is a type of outside ignition heat motor that can utilize various fuel sources from customary structures (coal, oil, kindling, rice husk, and so forth) to sustainable power sources (sun-oriented energy), climate, squander heat usage, and so forth). The article centers around introducing the fundamental highlights of the improvement history, activity qualities, and plan techniques for certain sorts of Stirling motors, in this way offering useful appropriateness as well as a college preparing for understudies. The understudy studying Thermal Engineering in our nation today.
