    Investigating lecturers’ and students’ belief on the use of code-switching in efl speaking classroom

    As the use of Code Switching in EFL classroom has been a subject of controversy overtime among the result findings of previous studies either lecturers and students tended to positive view or negative view. Thus, this study was conducted in order to investigate tje lecturers' and students' belief on the use of CS and the factors contributing behind it at English Deparment IAIN Palangka Raya. There were two research problems formulated as in follow, (1). What are lecturers' and students' belief on the use of (CS) code switching?; (2). What are factors contributings to the use of (CS) code switching?. There were two objectives of the studg as well (1). To investigate lecturers' and students' belief on the use of (CS) code switching, and (2). To describe factors contributings to the use of (CS) code switching. The type of the study was case study that was designed in mix-method through convergent parallel design. There were two instrument used in gathering the data such as questionnaire and interview. The data gathering was analyzed quantitatively and qualitatively through some procedures such as data reduction, data display, data transformation, data correlation, comparison, data integration and conclusion. The result findings revealed that (1) students's belief on the use of code switching was tended to positive view, it was not contradictory to the lecturers' belief that they tended to positive as well on the use of code switching in EFL speaking classroom. (2) th factors contributing behing the code stwitching by students were lack of vocabulary (most frequently became the factor), anxiety, subconcious, clarrification, function, formality, easer to communicate, assertion, environment, and habit. Meanwhile the factors thay came from the lecturers were clarification (most frequently became the factor), to create humour, sunconcious and function. ABSTRAK Sebagaimana bahwasanya penggunaa code switching di kelas EFL (Inggris sebagai bahasa asing) itu telah menjadi kontroversi beberapa kali di antara hasil temuan penelitian-penelitian sebelumnya baik itu dosen dan mahasiswa cenderung ke arah positif atau negatif. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini dilaksanakan untuk menginvestigasi keyakinan dosen dan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan Code switching dan faktor-faktor yang mengkontribusi terjadi penggunaan Code switching tersebut. Terdapat dua rumusan masalah yang diformulasikan sebagai berikut, (1) apa keyakinan dosen dan mahasiswa dengan penggunaan Code switching, dan (2) apa faktor-faktor yang mengkontribusi penggunaan Code switching. Adapun tujuan penelitian ada dua yaitu (1) untuk menginvestigasi keyakinan dosen dan mahasiswa dengan penggunaan code switching, dan (2) untuk menggambarkan faktor-faktor yang mengkontribusi penggunaan Code switching. Jenis penelitian ini adalah case study dalam desain mix-method dengan jenis convergent parallel desain. Dalam mengumpulkan data, ada terdapat dua instrumen seperti angket dan wawancara. Data yang dikumpulkan dianalisis secara kuantitaif dan kualitatif dengan melaui prosedur data reduction, data display, data transformation, data correlation, comparison, data integration and conclusion. Hasil temuan mengungkapkan bahwa (1) keyakinan mahasiswa terhadap penggunaan Code switching cenderung positif, hal ini tidak bertentangan dengan keyakinan yang ada pada dosen bahwa mereka cenderung positif juga pada penggunaan Code switching dalam EFL kelas speaking. (2) faktor-faktor yang mengkontribusi penggunaan code switching pada mahasiswa adalah berupa kekurangan kosa-kata (menjadi faktor yang sering terjadi), kegugupan, ketidaksadaran, penjelasan, fungsi, formalitas, mudah berkomunikasi, tuntunan, lingkungan, dan kebiasaan.     The purpose of this study was to analyze and describe M. Quraish Shihab's views on character education through the study of the al-mishbah tafsir book. This study used a research library method. Data collection is done by reading, understanding, analyzing, comparing existing data and then grouping them according to their respective characteristics through the Critical Discourse Analysis model. The results of the research show that in Surah Al-Furqan verses 63-70 that actions called character are being wise, generous, not killing people except for reasons justified by syar a' (Islamic law), praying a lot and repenting, and keeping yourself from committing free sex. Meanwhile, the values ??of character education that can be understood are that if good character is conveyed to students continuously and systematically it is able to shape the personality and character of a strong Muslim, so that they can display and apply the values ??of Islamic teachings in their life

    Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa transparansi pengelolaan dana desa untuk covid-19 dapat dikatakan sudah transparansi dalam pendistribusian yang sudah merata atau tepat sasaran terhadap masyarakat dibuktikan dengan hasil temuan dari kesediaan dan aksesibilitas pengelolaan BLT-Dana Desa di Desa Tongke-Tongke dimana menunjukan bahwa pemerintah desa telah menyediakan dokumen mengenai realisasi pengelolaan dana desa khususnya pengelolaan bantuan langsung tunai dan kegiatan PPKM bagi masyarakat yang bersifat informasi publik. Bentuk kejelasan  dan  kelengkapan  informasi  pengelolaan dana desa ditandai dengan adanya informasi publik yang diberikan kepada masyarakat melalui situs resmi desa, papan informasi dan spanduk/baliho. Dalam keterbukaan proses pengelolaan dana desa terhadap masyarakat telah dilakukannya musyawarah desa untuk penetapan calon penerima dengan adanya penyeleksian terhadap masyarakat penerima BLT-DD sesuai dengan regulasi yang telah ditetapkan agar dapat menjamin transparansi pengelolaan dana desa yang dilakukan oleh pemerintah desa. Penelitian ini dapat bermanfaat bagi para pemerintah desa lainnya sebagai bahan evaluasi atau pertimbangan dalam pengelolaan dana desa dan sebagai sumber ilmu dan pengetahuan terkait dengan transparansi pengelolaan dana desa mendukung pelaksanaan PPKM Mikro dalam pencegahan pandemi covid-19 di Desa Tongke-Tongke

    A STUDY OF JUVENILE IMMORAL CRIME IN PALOPO CITY

    This research was conducted to discover involvement, factors and efforts solve immoral crimes committed by adolescents. It employed descriptive qualitative methods with sociological, empirical and normative approaches. The results of the study indicated that the involvement of adolescents in such crime was based on a mutual desire to act like adults by having sexual intercourse, coercion to commit immoral violations due to lust, persuasion of friends to commit immoral acts, shortcuts to be united and invitations to commit immoral acts for payment. An internal factor causing adolescents committing immoral crime is hormonal growth which has an impact on increasing sexual arousal. If not shifted to positive activities, it will have a harmful impact including immoral acts. Meanwhile, external factors are lack of family attention, to be recognized among adolescents, influence of information from print, electronic and social media. Efforts to overcome immoral acts include Preventive by providing understanding and attention from the family to adolescents about good and bad deeds, supervising and protecting social environment, Repressive by safeguarding from promiscuity, giving sanctions to educate not to punish and, Rehabilitative by involving adolescents in positive activities in the community, carrying out outstanding activities, giving trust that they can be a part of a community group. It is expected that the results of this research can encourage family, community and government to collaborate and develop well-behaved and outstanding adolescents

    Implementation of the National Civil Apparatus Competency Policy Strategy in Sinjai Regency

    Competency development is an effort to increase knowledge, skills, abilities and thinking maturity which is automatically accompanied by changes in morals and behavior in carrying out government and development tasks, one of which is through education and training programs. This study aims to determine the Implementation of the Competency Development Policy Strategy of the National Civil Apparatus  in Sinjai Regency. This type of research is qualitative. Data collection techniques used are interview, observation and documentation methods. The data analysis techniques used are data reduction, data display and data verification. The results of this study indicate that the Implementation of Competency Development Policy Strategies for National Civil Apparatus  in Sinjai Regency. One of the obstacles lies in the ability of regional finances to conduct competency tests at all levels in national civil apparatus. Meanwhile, one of the supporting factors is the enthusiasm of the employees in improving competence through education and training

    PENGEMBANGAN MODEL TEACHING FACTORY DI STUDIO MULTIMEDIA SMK NEGERI 1 SOMBA OPU

    Hasanah Nur, dan Purnamawati Program Pascasarjana Universitas Negeri Makassar Abstrak Tujuan penelitian ini adalah (1) menemukan model teaching factory yang sesuai untuk pembelajaran praktik di studio multimedia SMK Negeri 1 Somba Opu, (2) menghasilkan model teaching factory yang valid, praktis, dan efektif untuk pembelajaran praktik di studio multimedia SMK Negeri 1 Somba Opu. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan R & D (Research & Development). Subjek uji coba dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas XI Multimedia SMK Negeri 1 Somba Opu dengan jumlah 20 orang. Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah adaptasi dari Model pengembangan Borg and Gall yang terdiri dari tiga tahapan utama yaitu; tahap studi pendahuluan (studi lapangan, analisis dokumen, analisis teori), tahap studi pengembangan (penyusunan konstruk model teaching factory, pengembangan model teaching factory), tahap uji coba (uji coba skala kecil, uji coba skala besar, finalisasi produk). Penelitian ini menghasilkan produk model pembelajaran teaching factory tujuh langkah (TEF-7P) dengan perangkat operasional yang terdiri dari buku Model TEF-7P, RPP, modul, jobsheet, dan LPPO. Tujuh langkah dari satu siklus model ini yaitu, promosi, pre-order, pre-produksi, produksi, post-produksi, packaging, dan penyerahan order. Kegiatan pada satu siklus pembelajaran model TEF-7P terdiri dari kegiatan soft skill dan hard skill. Model ini dilaksanakan dalam sistem blok dan rotasi, yang diakhiri dengan uji kompetensi. Model TEF-7P yang dikembangkan telah divalidasi oleh pakar dan telah mengalami revisi, serta telah di uji coba (skala kecil dan skala besar). Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa model TEF-7P telah memenuhi kriteria kevalidan. Berdasarkan hasil uji coba, diperoleh bahwa model pembelajaran ini dinyatakan praktis diukur berdasarkan kemampuan guru mengelola pembelajaran, dan efektif diukur berdasarkan aktivitas peserta didik, respon peserta didik terhadap perangkat operasional model dan pelaksanaannya, serta hasil tes pengerjaan order.     PENGEMBANGAN MEDIA PEMBELAJARAN MATEMATIKA PADA MATERI DIMENSI TIGA BERBASIS APLIKASI ANDROID

    This study aims to determine the process and the development of mathematics learning media on three dimensional materials based on valid and practical, effective android applications. This research is a development of mathematics learning media on three dimensional material. The trial is limited to teachers and students intended to obtain a response, feedback on the learning media that has been developed. The results show that (1) The result of teacher response get the average score of 3.63 with very high category, (2) The result of the student response get the average score of 3.14 with high category, (3) classical reached 82.86%, (4) Results of students' motivation scores get 3.39 with high category. So based on the criteria, the learning media on the three dimensional materials based on android applications that have been developed declared valid, practical, and effective

    PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR MATEMATIKA MELALUI PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE STAD PADA SISWA KELAS X. F SMA NEGERI 1 PITUMPANUA

    Penelitian ini adalah penelitian tindakan kelas. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa Kelas X.E SMA Negeri 1 Pitumpanua pada tahun pelajaran 2013/2014 sebanyak 30 orang. Pengambilan data dilakukan dengan menggunakan tes hasil belajar dan observasi. Instrumen penelitian dibuat oleh penulis bekerja sama dengan guru bidang studi matematika SMA Negeri 1 Pitumpanua. Data yang terkumpul dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisis kualitatif dan kuantitatif. Hasil yang dicapai setelah pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD yaitu : (1) Hasil penelitian untuk Siklus I diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 63,4 dari skor ideal 100, (2) Untuk Siklus II diperoleh skor rata-rata hasil belajar siswa sebesar 78,7 dari skor ideal 100, (3) Terjadinya peningkatan hasil belajar matematika siswa dari kategori sedang pada Siklus I dan pada Siklus II sudah mencapai kategori tinggi sebesar 15,3, (4) Tanggapan siswa terhadap pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD cenderung positif seperti siswa merasa senang dengan pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD karena bisa menghilangkan ketegangan. Dari analisis di atas, maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa, meningkatkan motivasi, rasa percaya diri dalam mengikuti proses belajar mengajar serta dapat menerima siswa lain yang berkemampuan dan berlatar belakang sosial berbeda.Kata kunci: Kooperatif, Peningkatan Hasil Belajar, Tipe STA

    The objective of research is to analyze and to describe the implementation of School-Based Management (MBS) policy, the factors supporting and constraining the implementation of MBS policy, and the response of teachers to the implementation of MBS policy at Madrasah Aliyah in Luwu Utara District. The precise location of research is at MA Muhammadiyah Balebo, MA Al-Falah Lemahabang and MAN Luwu Utara. Research design is qualitative with descriptive method analysis through Edward III theory. Data collection techniques involve interview, observation and documentation. Data are subjected to the analysis which involves data reduction, data presentation, and verification/conclusion. The conclusion is managerial competence of principal and active participation of whole stakeholders, especially community with their moral and material supports based on demand of madrasah, are main factors to implement MBS policy

    Development of Web-Based Pascal Programming Multimedia at UPT SMK Negeri 2 Sidrap

    This study aims to develop  web-based Multimedia Pascal Programming in the basic programming subject of TKJ class X UPT SMK Negeri 2 Sidrap. This type of research is research and development (Research and Development / R&D) with a 4D development model that has been developed by Thiagarajan, Semmel and Semmel (1974) which includes the stages of Define, Design, Develop, and Disseminate. Data collection uses observation instruments, interviews, and questionnaires which are then analyzed descriptively quantitatively.   The results  showed that Pascal Programming multimedia met the valid criteria based on the  assessment of  media and material validation with an average value of  85.5%.  Thus, it can be concluded that multimedia Pascal Programming is declared very suitable for use in limited face-to-face learning UPT SMK Negeri 2 Sidrap
