    FACILITATING THE INVOLVEMENT OF COMMUNITY LEADERS IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF CULTURE-BASED EDUCATION IN MAPPI DISTRICT, SOUTH PAPUA PROVINCE

    This research analyzed the strategic role of community leaders in developing culture-based education and formulating a social facilitation model for community leaders in improving quality education in Mappi Regency, Papua. This is a qualitative action research. Data collection used Focus Group Discussions (FGD) and data analysis used SWOT analysis. The findings showed that community leaders have a strategic role in culture-based education to preserve cultural values as important social capital for the Mappi younger generation. The main challenges for community leaders include lacking facilities, infrastructure, formal qualifications, and weak coordination. In their involvement in schools, community leaders have opportunities through utilizing school operational assistance funds and guidance from community organizations. In addition, optimizing the role of community leaders required improved coordination, facilities, and affirmative policies. The facilitated engagement model involving community leaders in teaching local skills and knowledge has proven effective in developing culture-based education in schools. The community leader teaching program is considered an important tool to advance culture-based education in Mappi. Schools that have implemented this social facilitation model should continue to be promoted as role models for other schools in integrating Mappi cultural elements into the school curriculum.     DEVELOPMENT OF WEB PROGRAMMING LEARNING MEDIA USING LARAVEL BASED ON PROJECT BASED LEARNING MODEL IN THE DEPARTMENT OF INFORMATICS AND COMPUTER ENGINEERING FT UNM

    This research aims to determine the results of developing web programming learning media using Laravel based on the project-based learning model in the Department of Informatics Engineering and Computer Science at UNM that meet the criteria of validity, practicality, and effectiveness. This research used the research and development (R&D) method by applying the ADDIE development model. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, tests, and documentation. Two groups of subjects involved in this study were validators, consisting of two expert lecturers, and students of the Department of Informatics Engineering and Computer Science at UNM who took the Web Programming course in 2021, totaling 34 people. Data analysis was performed using descriptive quantitative analysis methods as well as pretest and posttest analysis using prerequisite tests and non-parametric Wilcoxon tests with the assistance of SPSS software version 25. The results of the study show that web programming learning media using Laravel based on the project-based learning model has met the criteria as valid, practical, and effective learning resources. The developed learning media received positive validation from media/system experts with a feasibility rate of 100%. Students' response to this learning media was also positive, with a practicality rate of 84.5%. In addition, the use of this learning media significantly improved students' learning outcomes, as evidenced by an average increase in post-test scores of 67.80%

    STRENGTHENING CIVIC EDUCATION ON THE NATIONALISM ATTITUDE OF INDONESIAN MIGRANT WORKERS' CHILDREN IN SELANGOR MALAYSIA

    The objective of this research is identify and understand the impact of strengthening civic education on the nationalism attitudes of children of Indonesian migrant workers in Selangor, Malaysia, and provide guidelines to strengthen their nationalism identity. This research is a descriptive study using qualitative methods and participatory and collaborative approaches. Data were collected through observation, interviews, data analysis and documentation of 4th, 5th and 6th grade students at Hulu Langat Guidance Center. The data analysis technique used is Qualitative data analysis technique including Data Reduction, Data Presentation and Conclusion Drawing or Verification. The results showed that the strengthening of comprehensive civic education had a significant effect on the knowledge and nationalism attitudes of children of migrant workers, including the Indonesian president, the basis of the state and the application of the Pancasila precepts in everyday life. So it is concluded that strengthening comprehensive civic education has a very important role in improving the nationalism attitudes of children of migrant worker

    I'M AWARE OF MY GOAL ORIENTATION, MY FEAR OF FAILURE WILL DECREASE!: THE EFFECT OF LEARNING AWARENESS RELATED TO GOAL ORIENTATION ON FEAR OF FAILURE

    The problem that still occurs today is the fear of failure among students. This research aims to examine the effect of learning awareness related to goal orientation on fear of failure. This research method uses quantitative research with structural equation modeling (SEM) analysis to test the effect of learning awareness related to goal orientation on fear of failure. The subjects of this research were 408 students in Indonesia. This research instrument uses a modified goal orientation scale to measure learning awareness related to goal orientation and a modified achievement anxiety scale to measure fear of failure related to achievement anxiety. This research instrument was declared valid and reliable. The results of this research show that awareness of goal orientation will reduce fear of failure. Awareness of goal orientation can reduce fear of failure because students who have an awareness of goals make goals the main focus in the learning process; monitoring and evaluating the process of academic and learning failure; and encourage to determine the path to achieving goals

    This study aims to determine the explaining skill of PGMI students through online peer assesment. Research methods used qualitative research with a descriptive approach.Result of this research of students explaining skill through online peer assesment: (1) using language that easily understand was 97%; (2) mastering material was 90,9%; (3) using examples related to the material was 93,9%; (4) using vocal variations was 75,8%; (5) voice emphasis to certain terms was 69,7%; (6) repeated subject matter was 52,5%; (7) build interaction with students was 97%; (8) Allow student to ask was 51,5% and (9) concluding material was 66,7%.     PENGARUH METODE JIGSAW BERBASIS DISCOVERY LEARNING TERHADAP MOTIVASI DAN HASIL BELAJAR PESERTA DIDIK (STUDI PADA MATERI POKOK ASAM BASA)

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh metode jigsaw pada model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap motivasi dan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. Sampel penelitian terdiri dari 2 kelas yaitu kelas XI MIA 3 sebagai kelas eksperimen dengan jumlah peserta didik sebanyak 26 orang dan XI MIA 2 sebagai kelas kontrol dengan jumlah peserta didik 29 orang yang ditentukan secara simple random sampling. Data hasil penelitian diperoleh dengan memberikan angket motivasi belajar dan tes hasil belajar pada materi pokok asam basa yang dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik deskriptif dan statistik inferensial. Uji statistik deskriptif motivasi belajar peserta didik diperoleh, nilai rata-rata kategori tinggi. Untuk uji deskriptif hasil belajar peserta didik diperoleh, nilai rata-rata kelas signifikan. Pengujian hipotesis dari motivasi dan hasil belajar dilakukan dengan menggunakan uji statistik non parametrik (uji Mann-Whitney). Hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh metodejigsaw pada model pembelajaran discovery learning terhadap motivasi belajar peserta didik kelas XI MIA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar pada materi pokok asam basa. Untuk pengujian hipotesis hasil belajar Zhitung = 6,48 pada taraf signifikan, α = 0.05 diperoleh Ztabel= 1,64.     This research is a descriptive research using quantitative approach. This research was conducted at Senior High Schools in East Palu in August 2022. The sample of this study consisted of five biology teachers of State Senior High School in East Palu. The instrument used was an open-ended questionnaire that included five dimensions of TPACK. Each TPACK section contains three issues derived from three indicators. With the help of the open-ended questionnaire, the use of TPACK-based learning media by biology teachers can be measured externally and deeply. The results showed that the most used media by biology teachers is technology-based media particularly PowerPoint media. According to the teachers, PowerPoint media is easy to use and develop, and it can support students to interpret the material effectively and practically. Another media used by biology teachers is traditional media utilization where they use media as learning tools. Finally, the teachers employ pictures of laboratory materials as these are easier to find

    The implementation of the research is based on the number of cases of incest that occurred in South Sulawesi. The research aims to provide an overview of how the existence of pappaseng “Tellu Riala Sappo” can be used to prevent the emergence of incest behavior in the Bugis community of South Sulawesi. The method of this research is qualitative approach through a case study. The data collection consists of interview techniques and documentation studies. The Data Analysis was conducted for several stages. It consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusions. The performing data validation b using data triangulation. The results of data analysis point out that (1) the phenomenon of incest occurs in the Bugis people of South Sulawesi. Most of the incest cases that occur because of the perpetrator’s lack of self-control and religious understanding, so that they cannot contain their lust. (2) The existence of Pappaseng Tellu Riala Sappo in the Bugis community is only known by some people, and; (3) Pappaseng Tellu Riala Sappo contains religious values and self-control (Siri’) that can prevent the emergence of incest behavior in the Bugis people of South Sulawesi

    Hasil belajar pada menganalisis kebahasaan artikel dengan media Wordwall di kelas XII IPS 1 SMA Negeri 2 Semarang dalam penelitian ini. Metode dengan mengambil data dari sampel populasi, merupakan metode eksperimen. Penelitian ini menggunakan sampel yaitu peserta didik SMA Negeri 2 Semarang kelas XII IPS 1 dan XII IPS 2 . Peserta didik sebanyak 70, dengan kelas eksperimen XII IPS 1 dan kelas control XII IPS 2. Tabel independent menunjukan Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000 < 0,05. Dari keterangan berikut ditolak (Ho) dan diterima (Ha). Oleh karena itu, kesimpulannya terdapat rata-rata yang berbeda antara pre-test dan post-test kelas eksperimen, berarti media Wordwall dalam menganalisis kebahasaan artikel menjunjukan terdapat hasil dari penelitian bahwa adanya perubahan hasil belajar peserta didik Ketika belajar menganalisis kebahasaan artikel menggunakan media pembelajaran Wordwall.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk: 1) mengembangkan perangkat pembelajaran (Silabus, RPS, Kontrak Kuliah, dan Buku Ajar) pada mata kuliah rekayasa sistem robotik di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar, 2) mendeskripsikan kualitas hasil pengembangan Perangkat Pembelajaran (Silabus, RPS, Kontrak Kuliah, dan Buku Ajar) pada mata kuliah sistem robotik di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makassar untuk mencapai kriteria kualitas yang diinginkan yaitu pada kriteria Sangat Layak. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian desain dan pengembangan. Penelitian ini melakukan desain dan pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran sistem robotik dengan menggunakan Model pengembangan yang digunakan dalam pengembangan perangkat pembelajaran ini adalah ADDIE, model ini terdiri atas lima langkah, yaitu: (1) analisis (analyze), (2) perancangan (design), (3) pengembangan (development), (4) implementasi (implementation), dan (5) evaluasi (evaluation). Uji coba yang dilakukan meliputi uji coba ahli/validasi ahli dan uji coba kelompok kecil. Uji coba kelompok kecil dilakukan di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro pada mahasiswa yang telah memprogramkan/melulusi mata kuliah dasar mikrokontroler yang berkaitan dengan sistem robotik. Instrument penelitian yang digunakan adalah lembar validasi Materi, validasi ahli media dan instrumen respon mahasiswa. Analisis data kevalidan dan kepraktisan dilakukan dengan cara mengkonversi data kuantitatif berupa skor hasil penilaian menjadi data kualitatif berupa nilai standar skala empat. Hasil validasi ahli materi mendapat kategori sangat layak hasil validasi ahli desain mendapat kategori sangat layak, dan hasil respon mahasiswa mendapat kategori sangat praktis. Kesimpulan dari hasil validasi dan revisi yang telah dilakukan, di tetapkan bahwa perangkat pembelajaran mata kuliah Rekayasa sistem robotik yang di kembangkan sangat layak untuk di gunakan di Jurusan Pendidikan Teknik Elektro Fakultas Teknik Universitas Negeri Makasssar
