Abstract This research aims at identifiying the social impacts of rice distribution program at Batua in Panakukkang district Makassar city. This research is a kind of survey research. In this research the technique of data analysis is a qualitative descriptive that explores research result descriptively. The research result showed that there is no impact economically, because the distribution is only enough for food, not to fullfill other needs like clothes and shelter. Economic Behaviors of Street Vendors in Makassar Traditional Markets

Abstract: This paper aims to explore the considerations behind the economic behavior of street vendors in traditional markets at Makassar, by employing qualitative research design. Data were collected through a semi-structured interview to 23 participants, who were recruited through purposive sampling technique. The results suggested that the street vendors were still categorized into the traditional economic subsystem behavior, in which the distribution of goods is still done directly, simple, and traditional, both in supply and demand. Profit maximisation and utilisation were done under the priority scale through several personal and cultural considerations over economic-rational considerations, whereas networking development was exclusively conducted on their own close environment (family, fellow merchants, costumers, and the local suppliers). Modernisasi dan Pengaruhnya Terhadap Kehidupan Sosial Masyarakat Petani Padi Sawah di Desa Mojong Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang

Abstrak : Negara Indonsia dikenal sebagai negara agraris, oleh karena sebahagian besar penduduknya bekerja di sektor pertanian Sama halnya dengan pekerjaan-pekerjaan lain. Usaha tani padi sawah ini juga senantiasa terlibat proses modernisasi. Proses modemisasi yang terjadi disebabkan oleh berbagai faktor antara lain (l) bertambahnya penduduk, Malthus, mengatakan pertambahan penduduk dunia akan bertambah sesuai dengan deret ukur dan pertambahan bahan makanan bertambah sesuai dengan deret hitung, (2) adanya teknologi baru sebagai investasi), baik yang diadopsi dari luar maupun inovasi masyarakat setempat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui modemisasi dan pengaruhnya terhadap kehidupan sosial masyarakat petani padi sawah di Desa Mojong Kabupaten Sidenreng Rappang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa modemisasi pertanian membawa dampak positif terhadap kehidupan masyarakat, di samping mempermudah mereka melakukan kegiatan taninya, dengan hasil yang lebih baik( juga memberikan tambahan waktu untuk melakukan kegiatan diluar kegiatan pokoknya. Modernisasi melahirkan perkembangan investasi, khususnya di bidang pengolahar/pembajakan sawah pertanian, pemanenan hasil produksi, serta intensifikasi pertanian yang menyebabkan pergeseran, dari bertani untuk pemenuhan kebutuhan sendiri (substensi) ke bertani untuk memenuhi kebutuhan masyarakat (komersial) atau untuk memenuhi kebutuhan pasar. Abstrak - Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji dan menganalisis dampak metode pembelajaran kooperatif STAD dalam mempengaruhi pengembangan kompetensi siswwa pada Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan (SMK)di Sulawesi Selatan. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen untuk mengidentifikasi hubungan sebab akibat dari satu atau lebih variabel terikat dengan melakukan manipulasi variabel bebas pada suatu keadaan yang terkendali (variabel kontrol). dalam penelitian eksperimen dilakukan manipulasi paling sedikit satu variabel, mengontrol variabel lain yang relevan dan mengobservasi efek atau pengaruhnya terhadap satu atau lebih variabel terikat. Solidaritas Pedagang Kali Lima di Pasar Terong Makassar

The aim of this research was to describe the level and form of solidarity of five foot trader in Terong market Makassar. The collection of data conducted by survey and direct interview to 11 informan collected purposively after analyzed then taken the conclusion that the solidarity of five footer trader classified in high level. This proved by (l) the attention among them, (2) help each other in any things, (3) visiting each other, (4) collective action if there were the treatment, (5) the other relationship related with the social interaction. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pola pendidikan informal seperti apa yang diterapkan masyarakat adat Kajang dalam upaya pelestarian budaya lokal pasang ri Kajang pada masyarakat adat Kajang di Kabupaten Bulukumba. What if the use of contextual approach can improve student learning outcomes of VB grade SDN Balang Baru 1 District Tamalate Makassar City. The objective of the research is to improve students' learning outcomes through contextual approach of VB SDN Balang Baru 1 sub student Tamalate Kota Makassar. This research is a qualitative research with class of recycled / cycle research, which includes planning, implementation, and reflection. . The focus of research is to improve the learning outcomes of IPS through contextual approach. The subjects of the study were teachers and students of VB SDN Balang Baru 1 sub district Tamalate Kota Makassar. Data information technic is test, test, and documentation. Data analysis techniques are data reduction, data presentation, conclusion and verification. Results of research and improvement of student learning outcomes.
