Pengembangan Strategi Penyuluhan Agama Di Kantor Urusan Agama Untuk Meningkatkan Kesadaran Masyarakat Beragama Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan

Increasing awareness of religious communities is one of the main tasks carried out by the Office of Religious Affairs (KUA) in Medan Perjuangan District. This research aims to develop an effective and sustainable religious outreach strategy to increase public understanding and awareness of religious values in everyday life. The research approach uses descriptive qualitative methods with data collection techniques through interviews, observation and documentation. The research results show that religious counseling that is participatory and based on community needs is more effective in creating changes in religious behavior. The proposed strategy includes strengthening the role of religious instructors as facilitators, preparing programs based on specific community problems, and using digital media to expand educational reach. By implementing this strategy, it is hoped that public awareness of the importance of religious values will increase, thus supporting the creation of social harmony and a better religious life.Peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat beragama menjadi salah satu tugas utama yang diemban oleh Kantor Urusan Agama (KUA) di Kecamatan Medan Perjuangan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan strategi penyuluhan agama yang efektif dan berkelanjutan guna meningkatkan pemahaman dan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap nilai-nilai agama dalam kehidupan sehari-hari.Pendekatan penelitian menggunakan metode kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penyuluhan agama yang bersifat partisipatif dan berbasis kebutuhan masyarakat lebih efektif dalam menciptakan perubahan perilaku keagamaan.Strategi yang diusulkan meliputi penguatan peran penyuluh agama sebagai fasilitator, penyusunan program berbasis masalah spesifik masyarakat, serta pemanfaatan media digital untuk memperluas jangkauan edukasi.Dengan implementasi strategi ini, kesadaran masyarakat terhadap pentingnya nilai-nilai agama diharapkan dapat meningkat, sehingga mendukung terciptanya harmoni sosial dan kehidupan beragama yang lebih bai

Pelatihan Penggunaan Canva dan PosSaku untuk Meningkatkan Kreativitas dan Produktivitas UMKM

Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) play a vital role in national economic development, yet they still face major challenges, particularly in graphic design creativity and manual financial recordkeeping. Digitalization has become an urgent need to enable MSMEs to remain competitive amid the era of technological transformation. To address this need, a community service program was carried out in the form of training on the use of Canva and PosSaku application for MSME actors in the Food Court Nusantara area, Mal SKA. The aim of this activity was to improve participants’ understanding and skills in designing digital promotional brochures using Canva, as well as managing financial records more efficiently through the PosSaku application. The training method was participatory and interactive, consisting of material delivery, independent practice, mentoring, and evaluation of participants’ work. The results of the training showed a significant improvement in the participants’ skills, which included business owners and employees of a fried chicken (ayam geprek) business. All participants were able to independently create promotional brochures using Canva and gained an understanding of the importance of visual branding in business. Moreover, the use of PosSaku enabled participants to record sales and expenses in real-time, prepare simple financial reports, and make business decisions based on actual data. This training successfully raised participants’ awareness of the importance of technology for business sustainability and development, and served as an initial step toward broader digital transformation for MSMEs

Teacher Experiences in Teaching Reading Comprehension: A Qualitative Study in English Classes at UPT SMP Negeri 10 Medan

This study aims to analyze teachers' experiences in teaching reading comprehension in English classes at UPT SMP Negeri 10 Medan. This research employs a qualitative approach using interviews, observations, and a Likert-scale-based questionnaire to explore various aspects of reading comprehension instruction. The main focus of this study includes the strategies used by teachers, the effectiveness of learning media, student engagement in interactive activities, and the challenges faced in understanding reading texts. The findings indicate that teachers employ various strategies such as skimming and scanning, group discussions, and role-playing to enhance students' reading comprehension. The use of learning media such as videos, images, and mind mapping has been proven to help students better understand texts. Group discussions are also an effective method for improving reading skills, particularly in fostering a deeper understanding of texts. However, this study also reveals several challenges, including limited vocabulary, low reading interest, and difficulties in comprehending complex text structures. The implications of this study highlight the importance of utilizing diverse and innovative teaching methods to cater to students' needs. Additionally, vocabulary enrichment and the selection of reading materials relevant to students' lives can enhance their motivation and comprehension of English texts

Optimalisasi Penyuluhan, Pemeriksaan, Pengobatan Penderita Hipertensi Sebagai Penyakit Utama Lansia Di Desa Sementara, Kecamatan Pantai Cermin Serdang Bedagai

Hypertension is a disease suffered by one billion people in the world, including 2/3 of Hypertension sufferers who are in developing countries. This hypertension often occurs in adults but is more susceptible to Blood pressure if it is continuously high can cause damage to blood vessels, kidneys, heart, and circulation or even death This community service activity aims to provide education to 25 temporary village residents of Pantai Cermin Serdang Bedagai  about prevention, early detection and treatment of Hypertension which is the main disease of the elderly. From the results of this service, the temporary village community who experienced the most mild Hypertension was 48% and consumed a lot of salt and excessive fat as much as 52%, the community experienced Obesity II excess weight by 44%, elderly age by 40%, female gender by 84%, had no history of hypertension in their families by 68%. with the status of elementary school/MI education level of 64%, Pretest score <70 as many as 10 people (40%), pretest score >70 as many as 15 people (60%) then Post test score <70 as many as 1 person (4%) and post test score >70 as many as 24 people (96%). EKSPLORASI PERAN GURU DALAM MENANAMKAN ETIKA DIGITAL KEPADA SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR: Eksplorasi Peran Guru dalam Menanamkan Etika Digital kepada Siswa SD

Pesatnya perkembangan teknologi digital telah membawa dampak signifikan terhadap kehidupan sosial, termasuk dalam dunia pendidikan dasar. Anak-anak yang tergolong generasi digital natives cenderung aktif menggunakan teknologi, namun masih minim pemahaman terhadap nilai dan norma yang berlaku dalam ruang digital. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengeksplorasi peran guru dalam menanamkan etika digital kepada siswa Sekolah Dasar, khususnya di UPT SDN 12 Pangkajene. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan dukungan data kuantitatif melalui pretest dan posttest untuk mengukur perubahan pemahaman guru. Kegiatan eksplorasi dilakukan melalui penyampaian materi, diskusi kelompok, studi kasus, dan refleksi praktik pembelajaran. Hasil menunjukkan bahwa pemahaman guru terhadap konsep etika digital meningkat secara signifikan setelah kegiatan, termasuk dalam memahami prinsip-prinsip dasar etika digital dan strategi penanaman nilai kepada siswa. Guru menyadari pentingnya kolaborasi antara sekolah, orang tua, dan komunitas dalam membentuk karakter siswa di era digital. Kegiatan ini juga melahirkan sejumlah rekomendasi tindak lanjut, seperti pengembangan modul pembelajaran, penyusunan kebijakan etika digital sekolah, dan pelatihan lanjutan bagi guru. The strategic need to implement a teacher empowerment program at SDN Tanah Tinggi 05 Pagi through the utilization of Wearable Gaming Technology as an innovative approach to enhance students’ learning interest is driven by the demand for a more interactive, contextual, and technology-integrated learning process. This technology offers opportunities for teachers to create more engaging, immersive, and enjoyable learning experiences, thereby encouraging active student participation in classroom activities. Moreover, the appropriate implementation of wearable gaming supports the development of critical thinking, communication, collaboration, and creativity—key 21st-century skills. This initiative aims to improve teachers' digital literacy and professional capacity in designing and integrating technology effectively into the learning process. Through a Community Service (PkM) program integrated with the Student Community Service Program (KKN), the initiative has shown positive outcomes, including enhanced teacher understanding of wearable technology and the ability to design gamified learning strategies that are interactive, collaborative, and capable of boosting student motivation and conceptual understanding. Hypertension is a highly prevalent health problem among the elderly. Complementary therapy is a disease management method used to support conventional medical treatment or as an alternative treatment option outside of conventional medical treatment. Pharmacological treatments used for hypertension include beta blockers, angiotensin-converting enzyme (ACE) inhibitors, diuretics, alpha blockers, and calcium channel blockers. A consequence of using diuretics is that potassium levels in the body are flushed out alongside sodium in urine. Yhe depletion of potassium can cause muscle cramps and, in extreme cases, death. A health problem identified in Tajau Landung Village, RT 03, within the Sungai Tabuk I Community Health Center (UPTD), is the elderly with hypertension. The purpose of this community service activity, as a non-pharmacological therapy, is to help lower blood pressure in hypertension sufferers, especially menopausal women with hypertension. The methods used in this counseling and demonstration are to increase menopausal women's knowledge of simple non-pharmacological therapies that can be applied at home. The conclusion of the community service activity of celery boiled water to lower blood pressure in hypertension sufferers was carried out through counseling using PowerPoint in the work area of Sungai Tabuk 1 Health Center, Tajau Landung Village, Rt.03

This study aims to determine the clarity of budget targets as a control tool in increasing accountability at PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan. The selected budget target is the 2016-2018 palm oil sales budget. The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative research method. The results of the research conducted show that the clarity of the palm oil sales budget target in 2016-2018 can be used as a control tool that can increase company accountability. This can be seen from the process of preparing the budget according to the procedure. As for the budget that is not achieved because it is influenced by several factors, such as exchange rate factors, inflation rates, and rainfall. PT Perkebunan Nusantara III Medan uses PSAK-IFRS accounting principles. The palm oil sales budget report will later be accounted for to shareholders, stakeholders, and interested parties

HUBUNGAN TINGKAT PENGETAHUAN TENTANG HIPERTENSI DAN CARA MINUM OBAT DENGAN KEPATUHAN TERAPI PADA PASIEN HIPERTENSI

Penyakit hipertensi adalah faktor risiko utama penyakit kardiovaskular. Kepatuhan terapi obat dianggap sebagai faktor penting dalam mencegah perburukan kondisi pasien hipertensi. Tingkat pengetahuan mengenai penyakit hipertensi dan cara minum obat diduga berperan penting dalam meningkatkan kepatuhan terhadap pengobatan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara tingkat pengetahuan tentang hipertensi dan cara minum obat dengan kepatuhan terapi pada pasien hipertensi di Rumah Sakit X Denpasar. Desain penelitian ini adalah observasional analitik dengan pendekatan cross-sectional. Teknik pengambilan sampel menggunakan nonprobability sampling dengan metode purposive sampling. Instrumen penelitian terdiri dari kuesioner pengetahuan hipertensi, kuesioner pengetahuan cara minum obat, dan kuesioner kepatuhan MMAS-8. Analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi Spearman. Hasil penelitian melibatkan 70 responden, menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas responden memiliki tingkat pengetahuan cukup tentang hipertensi (37 responden atau 52,86%) dan pengetahuan baik tentang cara minum obat (60 responden atau 85,71%). Tingkat kepatuhan terapi sebagian besar berada pada kategori sedang (44 responden atau 62,86%). Hasil uji Spearman menunjukkan terdapat hubungan yang signifikan antara pengetahuan tentang hipertensi dengan kepatuhan terapi (p = 0,000; r = 0,483) dan antara pengetahuan tentang cara minum obat dengan kepatuhan terapi (p = 0,002; r = 0,360). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah terdapat hubungan yang bermakna antara tingkat pengetahuan mengenai hipertensi dan cara minum obat dengan kepatuhan terapi pada pasien hipertensi di Rumah Sakit X
