    This research is a type of pre-experimental research that aims to: Determine the level of competition for the effectiveness of students who are given a scientific approach to cooperative settings for quadrilateral and triangular flat fields in class VII students of SMP Negeri 6 Makassar based on (a) student achievement, (b) Activities student learning, and (c) Student response. The population in this study were all seventhgrade students of SMPIT Umar Bin Khattab Kabupaten Pangkep. While the sample was selected at random 1 class to be applied as a group that will be given learning treatment by applying a scientific approach to cooperative settings. Before learning is done, pre-test is given first, then learning is carried out by applying a scientific approach in a cooperative setting for 5 meetings, and then given a post-test. The results showed that: (1) the average score of learning implementation from the first meeting to the fifth meeting was 3.80 (very good category). (2) the average value of student learning achievement (gain) is 0.6 (medium classification). (3) the average score of the student activity category is 3.4 (very good category). (4) the average student response is 3.1 (the category tends to be positive). (5) The value of effectiveness (E) obtained is 3.20 (quite effective). Results Based on the research, the scientific approach of cooperative setting is quite effective to be applied to the seventh grade students of SMPIT Umar Bin Khattab Kabupaten Pangkep

    PENGARUH PELAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN DARING TERHADAP KEMANDIRIAN BELAJAR SISWA SEKOLAH DASAR

    This study intends to determine the effect of the implementation of online learning on the learning independence of elementary school students. This study uses a survey method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were State Elementary School teachers in Makassar City. Determination of the sample in this study using cluster random sampling technique which produces 90 teachers based on the Slovin formula. Data collection uses a Likeart scale questionnaire and has tested its validity and produces a reliability value of 0.93 for the online learning implementation instrument and a reliability value of 0.92 for the student learning independence instrument. The data analysis technique used simple regression analysis. The findings in this study reveal that there is a positive and significant effect of implementing online learning on student learning independence at State Elementary Schools in Makassar City. The contribution of the implementation of online learning to student learning independence is 29%, which identifies that the implementation of online learning can affect student learning independence at State Elementary Schools in Makassar City in the midst of the covid-19 pandemic

    This study aims to determine student errors in solving PISA-oriented SPLDV questions with change and relationship content in class VIII SMP Unismuh Makassar based on the Newman error procedure. This type of research uses a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques used were giving tests and interviews. The instrument used was a written test in the form of a description of two numbers adapted from the PISA questions and interviews of students who were selected as research subjects to ensure mistakes made when solving the questions. The researcher chose four students as research subjects from 19 students of class VIIIA 1 based on the most mistakes made to be interviewed. The data analysis technique was carried out by the stages of data reduction, data presentation, data verification and drawing conclusions. Student error analysis refers to errors with the Newman stage which consists of 4 categories, namely errors in understanding the problem, errors in transforming the problem, errors in processing skills and errors in writing the final answer. The results showed that the most errors were made by FQ students. The research subjects who were then interviewed were SM on the type of understanding error, ST on the type of transformation error, SP on the error type of process skills and SK on the type of error in writing the final answer

    This research is a pre-experimental study involving an experimental class which aims to determine the effectiveness of learning through the Contextual Teaching and Learning (CTL) Approach in learning mathematics in class VII students of Al Hikmah Integrated Islamic Middle School, Pangkep Regency, 2021/2022 academic year. While the effectiveness of learning is viewed from three aspects, namely: the implementation of learning, classical learning completeness, student activity, and student responses. A learning is said to be effective if at least three of the four aspects above are met, provided that aspects of student activity and classical learning mastery are met. Student scores after learning mathematics through the application of the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach have achieved classical mastery. The average positive student activity is 85.7% and 12.5% negative, this indicates that student activity in learning mathematics through the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can be said to be active. Student responses to learning the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach can be said to be in accordance with the standards set, namely exceeding 75% of students who gave a positive response. Based on the results of descriptive and inferential analysis, it shows that student learning outcomes before learning the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach are smaller than student learning outcomes after learning the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach, thus learning mathematics through the Contextual Teaching and Learning approach is effectively used on the subject of Algebra in class students VII Al Hikmah Integrated Islamic Middle School, Pangkep Regency

    The purpose of this study was to determine the activities, responses, and student learning outcomes with multilevel instruction learning. Multilevel instruction assignment learning strategy is a selling system adoption from multi-level marketing strategy with special characteristics that there are students in the first level and second level downlines and a teacher as an upline. Type of research is quasi-experimental by comparing two experimental groups. Experimental group one was given the STAD model with multilevel instruction, and the other group was given regular STAD model. The research instruments used were student activity observation sheets, student response questionnaires, and learning outcomes test. The data obtained were analyzed descriptively and inferentially. The result indicates that both of them are effective to be applied in mathematics learning, but inferentially the outcomes of the experiment group one were higher than the experiment group two

Adapun jenis kegiatannya berupa bimbingan teknis penerbitan karya tulis ilmiah pada jurnal nasional bagi guru SMK. Tujuan dari kegiatan ini adalah untuk menambah dan meningkatkan pengetahuan guru tentang cara menerbitkan artikel di Jurnal nasional. Kegiatan ini dilaksanakan di SMKN 2 Maros yang diikuti oleh 38 guru.     ABSTRAK Penelitian ini adalah jenis penelitian eksperimen yang bertujuan untuk: Mengetahui tingkat pencapaian sasaran hasil belajar siswa yang diberikan pendekatan kontekstual setting kooperatif, saintifik setting kooperatif dan problem solving setting kooperatif berdasarkan (a) nilai posttes siswa dan (b) peningkatan hasil belajar siswa dan mengetahui keefektifan pendekatan kontekstual setting kooperatif, saintifik setting kooperatif dan problem solving setting kooperatif dalam materi bidang datar segiempat dan segitiga pada siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri Akreditasi A di Kota Makassar berdasarkan (a) Prestasi belajar siswa, (b) Aktivitas belajar siswa, dan (c) Respons siswa. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah semua siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri Akreditasi A di Kota Makassar 2015/2016. Sedangkan sampel penelitian dipilih 3 sekolah secara acak untuk diterapkan sebagai kelompok yang akan diberikan perlakuan pembelajaran matematika dengan menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual setting kooperatif, saintifik setting kooperatif dan problem solving setting kooperatif. Sebelum dilakukan pembelajaran, terlebih dahulu diberikan Pre-Test pada ketiga sekolah. Setelah itu dilakukan pembelajaran dengan menerapkan pendekatan kontekstual setting kooperatif, saintifik setting kooperatif dan problem solving setting kooperatif pada kelas eksperimen. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: semua pendekatan berada pada kategori cukup efektif dengan tingkat keefektifan tiap-tiap pendekatan yaitu: pendekatan kontekstual setting kooperatif dengan nilai E = 3,42, pendekatan saintifik setting kooperatif dengan nilai E = 3,20, pendekatan problem solving setting kooperatif dengan nilai E = 3,32. Pendekatan kontekstual setting kooperatif lebih efektif daripada pendekatan problem solving dan saintifik setting kooperatif pada pembelajaran matematika siswa kelas VII SMP Negeri Akreditasi A di Kota Makassar

    Not all students can absorb the material well, therefore researchers are interested in conducting research related to how students obtain information based on their personality. This research is a qualitative research with descriptive method, aims to describe students' conceptual understanding with sensing and intuition personality, with 2 subjects. Data collection techniques are tests and interviews. The test used is a personality test to select the subject. Furthermore, a concept understanding test was given to see his ability based on seven indicators of concept understanding, after that an interview was conducted to get more information about understanding the concept. The measurement of concept understanding uses the results of diagnostic tests, namely able, less able, and unable. Understanding the concept of personality sensing (S1), which is less capable of indicators of restating concepts, developing necessary and sufficient conditions, and using, utilizing, and choosing certain procedures but being able to give examples and non-examples of indicators, presenting concepts in the form of mathematical representations, and apply concepts to problem solving. The emerging trend is to practically answer questions, focus on results, be specific and detailed in explanations. Careful in processing information and making decisions, as well as careful, realistic and concrete. The majority of indicators are understood by S1 so S1 tends to understand the concept. Understanding the concept of students with intuition personality (S2), which is less capable on indicators of developing necessary and sufficient conditions and using, utilizing, and choosing certain procedures but able on indicators of restating concepts, classifying objects based on their properties, giving examples and non examples, presenting concepts in the form of mathematical representations, and applying concepts to problem solving. The tendencies that emerge are imaginative, abstract, conceptual and answer in their own way. See the linkages and focus on the process. The majority of indicators are understood by masters, so masters tend to understand concepts

    DESCRIPTION OF MATHEMATICS PROBLEM SOLVING ABILITY IN TERMS OF LEARNING STYLE

    This study aims to describe and determine students' abilities to solve mathematical problems that focus on visual and auditory learning styles. Subjects are eighth-grade students from junior high school in Bulukumba district. This research is descriptive qualitative, which seeks to determine and describe the mathematical problem solving ability in terms of student learning styles. Data is collected using questionnaires, tests, and interviews. The use of questionnaires describes visual learning styles and auditory learning styles. Two numbers of the test determine mathematics problem solving ability in Polya's step, and interviews confirm mathematics problem solving ability. The data analysis techniques are reduction, presentation, and verification. Based on the results, the first subject with a visual learning style can fulfill all the indicators of Polya's steps, but another one is just three indicators. The first subject with an auditory learning style can meet all Polya's steps, but the other can fulfill three indicators
