    Horizontal Gas Separator is a pressure vessel used to separate production fluid into liquid phase and gas phase. The purpose of this pressure vessel is designed to increase the capacity of the gas plant from one of the natural gas companies in Sidoarjo. In designing this pressure vessel using ASME Section VIII Div 1 standard and for the piping design using ASME standard B31.3. The result of the design of the pressure vessel with material SA-516-70 at a pressure and design temperature of 600 psig and 200 â°F obtained a thick shell and head of 1,0625 inches. With MAWP shell and head of 718,512 psi and 731,655 psi. for MAEP on the shell and head of 200,697 psi and 304,977 psi. For pipe design using material A 106 B with a diameter of 8 inch Sch 40 during the manual calculation and CAESAR II software shows the sustained load. Therefore, from the results of manual calculation and CAESAR II software states that the piping system is safe when operating

    ABSTRAK Nama : Mohammad Syakir Asyraf Bin Shohaimi NIM : 11840214383 Judul : Pelaksanaan Bimbingan Islam Dalam Menangani Konflik Rumah Tangga di Pejabat Agama Daerah Hulu Terengganu. Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi pembimbing agama yang memiliki peran penting dalam memberi bimbingan kepada pasangan yang mempunyai konflik rumah tangga, dimana pembimbing agama merupakan sumber kekuatan dan kebeartian kepada pasangan yang mengalami konflik di Pejabat Agama Daerah Hulu Terengganu. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk meneliti tentang pelaksanaan bimbingan Islam dalam menangani konflik rumah tangga di Pejabat Agama Daerah Hulu Terengganu. Penelitian ini tergolong dalam penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan deskriptif dan pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan metode observasi, wawancara serta dokumentasi. Adapun teknik analisis data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan deskriptif kualitatif dengan tahapan pengumpulan data, penyajian data, reduksi data dan penarikan kesimpulan. Informan dalam penelitian ini terdiri dari tujuh orang yang terdiri dari dua orang informan utama yang merupakan pegawai di Pejabat Agama Daerah Hulu Terengganu dan enam orang informan pendukung. Hasil dari penelitian ini memperlihatkan terdapat beberapa faktor yang menyebabkan munculnya konflik dalam rumah tangga seperti faktor ekonomi keluarga, tidak berlangsungnya komunikasi yang baik, anak-anak yang menjadi sebagian konflik keluarga, perselingkuhan dan beberapa lagi. Lantaran itu, pelaksanaan bimbingan Islam dalam menangani konflik rumah tangga di Pejabat Agama Daerah Hulu Terengganu merupakan aspek penting dalam mewujudkan rumah tangga yang bahgia dalam masyarakat di Daerah Hulu Terengganu.     DEVELOPMENT OF AUTOMATED PH CONTROLLER SYSTEM FOR NFT HYDROPONIC

    In a hydroponics system, pH level is one of the most important parameters that affect the way plants respond to a hydroponic nutrient solution. The range of pH levels depends on the type of plants in the hydroponic system. The plant can uptake nutrients efficiently if the nutrient solution needs to be consistently controlled within the pH range. It is important to ensure a balanced pH level in nutrient solutions to maintain the proper growth of plants. Therefore, the pH level in the nutrient solution will automatically be controlled in this Arduino-based system. A mini NFT hydroponic system was used as a project set up to measure the performance of a pH sensor. Utilizing the pH sensor, will measure the pH level of the nutrient solution and send the data to Arduino. Then, the Arduino will receive, process and send the output signal to the peristaltic pump to transfer the pH adjuster solution into the nutrient solution tank until the desired pH level is achieved. The data of the pH, Electrical Conductivity (EC) and temperature of the nutrient solution for the Amaranth plant growing period of 23 days are collected. The result obtained shows that the system is capable of automatically maintaining the pH level in the nutrient solution

    Desa Sinorang merupakan salah satu Desa yang terletak di Kecamatan Batui Selatan, Kabupaten Banggai, Provinsi Sulawesi Tengah memiliki potensi rawan terjadinya bencana alam, terutama banjir, gempa bumi, abrasi pantai, tanah longsor bahkan tsunami yang mengakibatkan kerugian baik dari segi materi maupun korban jiwa. Munculnya kerugian materi maupun korban jiwa disebabkan kurangnya pemahaman masyarakat terhadap penanggulangan bencana. Salah satu upaya yang dilakukan untuk menanggulangi terjadi bencana alam adalah dengan membentuk kelompok Desa Tangguh Bencana (DESTANA). Tujuan dibentuknya DESTANA adalah meningkatkan kesadaran masyarakat akan pentingnya kesiapsiagaan dalam menghadapi bencana alam. Metode yang digunakan adalah melakukan sosialisasi, pelatihan kebencanaan, dan pemberdayaan kepada masyarakat melalui program pemberdayaan masyarakat (CSR) oleh JOB Tomori yang berada di Kawasan Desa Sinorang. Data yang diperoleh selanjutnya dianalisis  secara deskriptif. Hasil pembentukan kelompok dan upaya yang dilakukan menujukkan adanya peningkatan kesadaran masyarakat terhadap sesiapsiagaan bencana mencapai 75% dari pemahaman sebelumnya 27.3%. Kehadiran DESTANA dapat disimpulkan bahwa mampu meningkatkan kesadaran dan kesiapsiagaan masyarakat terhadap bencana alam

    Offshore oil drilling creates impacts to marine ecosystem, not only to the lives in the water column but also tobenthic organisms. Coral reefs is one indicator that is prone to physical and chemical impacts of oil drilling. AJoint Operating Body, Pertamina-Medco E&P Tomori Sulawesi (JOB PTMS) has been operating since2005/2006 in the vicinity of Gusung Tiaka, Morowalu Utara, Central Sulawesi. JOB PTMS has a commitmentand responsibility to the sustainability coral reefs in the vicinity of drilling. Until recently, coral reefmanagement activities conducted were, coral reefs monitoring and restoring (using transplantation method) aswell as cleaning up from predator Acanthaster plancii. Coral reefs monitoring runs periodically in 2008-2014 in6 points of control. The coral reefs were in bad to good conditions, with mortality index 0.16-0.72 (scale 0-1).Coral reefs damaged was resulted from many factors namely, illegal fishing and predator Acanthaster planciiwith abundance of less than 30 individuals/hectare. Coral fish diversity index was 4,74-6.06. Coraltransplantation was moderate, not only the coral growth but also nekton (fish) recruitment with high number inthe vicinity of the transplantations.     An investigation on relationship between process control parameters and weld penetration in robotic CO2 arc welding using factorial design approach

    Weld penetration is an important physical characteristic of a weldment that affects the stress carrying capacity of the weld joint. Several welding parameters seem to influence weld penetration. This paper presents the relationship between weld penetration and four direct welding process parameters of robotic CO2 arc welding process on structural carbon steel. Two level, full factorial design was applied to investigate and quantify the direct and interactive effects of four process parameters on weld penetration. The upper and lower limits of the process control variables were identified through trial and error methodology, and the experiments were conducted using ‘bead on plate’ mode. The performance of the model was then tested by using analysis of variance technique and the significance of the coefficients was tested by applying student’s‘t’ test. Commercial computer programs were used for statistical analysis. The main and interactive effects of different welding parameters are studied by presenting it in graphical form

    Haji Makpol Bin Saimon is a founder of Kacang Pool Haji, the famous food in Johor Bahru. This food was inspired from Arabic dishes. The menu is prepared to meet the taste of Malaysian citizen especially Malays [1]. The delicious menu makes it famous among the people included VIPs and Singaporean. The ingredient used very simple and easy to dishes [2]. It is only uses “kacang parang” cooked with minced meat and mixed spices that is produced by Haji Makpol and after, prepared with Key Lime (limau purut), egg halved cooks and homemade bread. The bread that has been produced in a day is about 2400 pieces. This machine is gravity fed by the inclined delivery of bread through its blades into the receiving tray for bagging. Moreover, this machine is able to cut loaves bread into 8 pieces with thickness 3.75 cm per bread. There are no machines yet invented to meet the requirement of these breads. These breads are homemade especially for Kacang Pool Haji for his menus

    Kabupaten Banyuwangi merupakan produsen buah naga terbesar. Sekitar 80% pasokan buah naga di Indonesia berasal dari Banyuwangi. Desa Sukorejo yang terletak di Kabupaten Banyuwangi, sebagai salah satu penghasil buah naga, memanfaatkan lahan pertanian seluas 273 hektar khusus untuk budidaya buah naga. Dalam melakukan budidaya, inovasi terus dilakukan untuk meningkatkan hasil produksi. Salah satunya penggunaan lampu neon berwarna kuning yang dinyalakan pada malam hari untuk meningkatkan frekuensi jumlah panen. Akan tetapi, jumlah lampu neon yang banyak akan mengonsumsi listrik yang besar dan penggunaan listrik yang besar juga mengonsumsi biaya yang besar pula. Oleh karena itu, program pengabdian masyarakat ITS menerapkan sistem panel surya yang terintegrasi battery storage guna menunjang penerangan lampu pada lahan pertanian buah naga. Dengan adanya sistem ini, penggunaan listrik dari PLN akan berkurang karena sebagian akan disediakan oleh panel surya dan battery storage. Pelaksanaan pengabdian terbagi menjadi 4 tahap, yaitu tahap persiapan peninjauan lokasi, tahap pengadaan alat-alat, tahap instalasi PLTS yang terintegrasi dengan battery storage, dan tahap penyuluhan kepada masyarakat Desa Sukorejo terkait sistem yang digunakan. Dampak yang diberikan kepada masyarakat adalah pengurangan biaya operasional melalui penggunaan energi baru terbarukan, sekaligus menjadi model pertama dalam pemanfaatan energi baru terbarukan mengingat besarnya potensinya di Desa Sukorejo
