    Comparative Study of Three Linear System Solver Applied to Fast Decoupled Load Flow Method for Contigency Analysis

    This  paper  presents the  assessment  of  fast  decoupled load flow computation using three linear system solver scheme. The full matrix version of the  fast  decoupled  load flow  based on XB  methods used in this study.  The numerical investigations are carried out  on  the  small and large test systems.  The execution time of small system such as IEEE 14, 30, and 57 are very fast, therefore the computation time can not be compared  for these cases.  Another cases IEEE 118, 300 and TNB 664 produced significant execution speedup. The superLU factorization sparse matrix solver has best performance and speedup of load flow solution as well as in contigency analysis. The invers full matrix solver can solved only for IEEE 118 bus test system in 3.715 second and for another cases take too long time. However for superLU factorization linear solver can solved all of test system in 7.832 second for a largest of test system. Therefore the superLU factorization linear solver can be a viable alternative applied in contingency analysis.Keywords : Fast Decoupled Load Flow, Contigency Analysis, and Linear System Solve

    Unbalanced Active Distribution Analysis with Renewable Distributed Energy Resources

    This paper presents unbalanced active distribution system analysis with renewable distributed Energy Resources (DER). The renewable DER models have been considered are photovoltaic (PV) and Wind Turbine generation (WTG). The three-phase distribution load flow on the basis of the symmetrical components have been used in the analysis. The unbalanced active distribution system has been analized using IEEE 13 node feeder and IEEE 8500 node feeder with renewable DER units. The variation of wind speed (m/s) for WTG, solar radiation (W/m²) and temperature (°C) for PV have been simulated. The simulation results show that the proposed DER model can be used to analysis renewable DER impacts in unbalanced distribution system. The integration of renewable DER units into an existing distribution network can improve the voltage profile and reduce total system losses. The simulation results show that DERs size and location are important factors to improve voltage profile and line loss reduction

    Central Java has some temples with some aesthetic-valued ornaments, in the other hand the preservation through education is still minimum. This research tries to educate the student of Fine Art Education in UNNES in creating the ornament with the stimulant of the ornament of Gedongsongo Temple. In particular, this research has the purpose of describing student of Fine Art Education in UNNES creation, strategy and motivation in designing ornament as the response to the ornament of Gedongsongo Temple that is used as learning stimulant. The approach of this research was qualitative, with the main data collection technique of controlled-observation. The data analysis used qualitative data, by the support of quantitative data. The result of the research revealed that student of Fine Art Education in UNNES creation in response to the ornament of Gedongsongo temple, displayed the object with the portrait and landscape orientation, popular motif that is Kala and Makara, with expressive tendency also linear technique in strengthening the shading. Respondent-choosing strategy in interpreting the stimulus in the artwork, imitative or creative, is motivated or has the background of stimulus clearance level. In strategy, the choosing of the technique has the tendency to show the artwork in photographic-representative by the respondent. While the relation to the motif theme choosing, the respondent is motivated by subjective, perception and understanding factor about the ornament. The suggestion, it is needed to be done further development in the utilization of temple-ornament-based material in the college of ornament lecture and the learning of drawing decoration variety in basic and middle education.si fisik yaitu untuk memperindah penampilan fisik naskah

    The bounding method is one of the contingency analysis method for detecting branch flow violations. Three subnetworks in the bounding method namely N1, N2, and N3 will give information regarding those subnetworks that may not go overload and those that may. This research compared the results from contingency analysis that has been done to the 30 bus system using the bounding method and software PowerWorld Simulator 15 GSO. The result by using the bounding method is 12 lines can go overload for the outage of line 1-2. As well as for the outage of line 1-3 and the outage of line 2-5. Meanwhile, the output of using PowerWorld Simulator 15 GSO with DC power flow method, there are three overloads exist for the outage of line 1-2, three overloads exist for the outage of line 1-3, and five overloads exist for the outage of line 2-5. The overload lines are included in the group of lines that can overload from bounding result
