Development of Automatic Torque Bond Test
Proper bonding between adjacent pavement layers is very important to ensure good pavement performance. Manual torque bond test is known to be one of the tests to determine mechanical properties of bond between adjacent pavement layers. However, the test has several drawbacks that may affect the accuracy of results. This paper is focused on the development a mechanically controlled automatic torque bond test in order to eradicate the drawbacks associated with the manual torque bond test. A trial test and calibration of the newlydeveloped apparatus was performed to ensure the accuracy of results. The nominal loading rate of the manual torque bond test performed at 600Nm/min was found to be lower than the target loading rate, leading to a lower measured shear strength compared to that of the automatic torque test. It was also found that the appearance of lateral shear would not significantly affect the shear strength
PENGARUH KARAKTERISTIK SISTEM DAN INDIVIDU TERHADAP PENERIMAAN SISTEM ANGGARAN UNIVERSITAS SURABAYA
Nowadays, role of information technology in any aspect of human being has grown rapidly. Peoples need to quickly adapt with these situation. In fact, main factor causing failure in implementation of an information technology is the human resources associated with these technologies. This study examines the influence of system characteristics and individual characteristics in acceptance of University Budgeting System through the technology acceptance model. Using data collected by a quiestionaire conducted in 26 sub-systems in Surabaya University that used internet-based Budgeting system, this study finds that perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use significantly have a positive impact on attitude toward using a technology. Individual characteristics such as computer self efficacy, age, gender, educational level and experience influence user acceptance of technology but system characteristics such as relevant, screen design, complexity has no impact at all
PERANAN K3 DALAM MANAJEMEN BENCANA
A disaster is an event that occurs suddenly and is continuing that adversely affect the normal pattern of life or
damage to the ecosystem. it is rcquired emeryency action an incredible to help and save people's lives and
their environment. The incident could damage the structure and function of the crippling, resulting in damage
and losses of lives and objects and facilities of community of life. Disarter management is all efforts are embodied in
an activity or series of activities undertaken to eliminate in part of all of the disaster and its impact and avoid
the disaster that impacts can be ninimized

Optimization of Location Model of Capacitated Network
This study concerns with the research work on Location Model of Public Service Obligation State-Owned Company (PSO-SOC). Its aim is to develop an approach of making location decision on distribution facilities of such company, in which capacities of facilities are limited (capacitated facilities) and it deals with single commodity. Heuristic solution is proposed to modify established Add Algorithm, which is designed for uncapacitated facilities. The Network Representation is used to represent original problem of LocationModel. An example is provided to illustrate the proposed step-wise of solving the model
Deposition of ZnO Thin Films by Spray Coating Technique for Photocatalytic and Photochemical Degradation of Methylene Blue (MB)
Deposition of a thin layer of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) on glass substrates by spray coating techniques has been done. ZnO
is a semiconductor with band gap energy of ~ 3.2 eV and has the properties as oxidation photo catalysts that will
transform harmful compounds and toxic substances in water into harmless compounds. ZnO thin film deposition is
conducted by making gel ZnO with dissolving zinc acetate dehydrate (Zn(COOCH3)2.2H2O into a solution of
isopropanol ((CH3)2CHOH) and monoethanolamine (MEA: HOCH2CH2NH2) at room temperature with a
concentration of 0.3 M zinc acetate and the molar ratio is 1:1. ZnO gel is placed on the spray hole and sprayed on
a glass substrate which has been heated at a temperature of 250°C at a pressure of 70 psi to form a thin layer. A
thin layer is sintered at a temperature of 450°C for 2 hours. A ZnO thin layer then used as a photocatalytic and
photochemical degradatioan of methylene blue (MB) with and without stirring. The microstructure analysis by using
XRD show that the thin layers having polycrystalline wurtzite structure with orientations (100), (002), (101) and
(110). EDS characterization showed that thin layers of ZnO consists of 50.27% and 49.73% zinc and oxygen
atomic, respectively. ZnO photocatalyst reaction by using ultra violet light (UV) for 3 hours has been reduces the
concentration of MB until 97.05%. A high percentage of color degradation MB performed by treatment with stirring
