    PROGRAM KEWIRAUSAHAAN LANJUT : UPAYA MENCETAK WIRAUSAHA MAHASISWA

    Universitas Sebelas Maret (UNS) merupakan salah satu universitas yang menjadi pelopor dalam pengembangan budaya kewirausahaan di perguruan tinggi. Salah satu program yang telah lama dilakukan adalah menjadikan kewirausahaan sebagai salah satu mata kuliah wajib dengan bobot 2 sks. Namun demikian, hasil yang diharapkan belum sesuai dengan harapan awal. Hal tersebut dikarenakan materi yang diberikan pada perkuliahan mata kuliah kewirausahaan cenderung mengupas hal-hal yang teoritis tentang kewirausahaan sehingga belum mampu menumbuhkembangkan budaya berwirausaha di kalangan mahasiswa UNS. Dalam rangka mengatasi hal tersebut, diperlukan program lanjutan, untuk mengasah keterampilan kewirausahaan praktis baik dalam hal perencanaan, pengelolaan dan evaluasi suatu usaha. Kuliah kewirausahaan program kewirausahaan lanjut merupakan salah satu program yang dirancang untuk memberikan pengalaman belajar (learning with) dalam membekali peserta kegiatan untuk fokus dalam pembentukan suatu usaha baru skala mikro. Metode pembelajaran yang dikembangkan terdiri dari dua hal yaitu metode pembelajarn in class dan metode pembelajaran out class. Metode in class bertujuan untuk memberikan pendalaman materi tentang hal-hal yang harus dipersiapkan sebelum membentuk suatu usaha baru, khususnya penyusunan studi rencana usaha (business plan). Pembelajaran in class dilaksanakan selama tiga hari dengan jumlah jam pelajaran sebanyak 24 JPL. Sedangkan pembelajaran out class merupakan praktek usaha nyata, yang dilakukan selama 1 – 1,5 bulan dan dilakukan secara berkelompok. Peserta menentukan sendiri jenis usahanya, kemudian merencanakan business plan, mengajukan pinjaman modal kerja, melaksanakan usaha, melakukan evaluasi dan pelaporan hasil usaha.     KAJIAN POTENSI KEWIRAUSAHAAN PADA PEMUDA DI KOTA SURAKARTA

    Menurut Badan Pusat statistik Indonesia tercatat sejumlah 7,4 juta orang pemuda yang termasuk dalam kategori usia produktif yang mengganggur. Dan jika dilihat dari latar belakang pendidikannya, maka 27,09 % berpendidikan SD ke bawah, 22,62 % berpendidikan SLTP, 25,29 % berpendidikan SMA, 15,37 % berpendidikan SMK. Dari tingginya angka pengangguran pemuda ini, PPKwu merasa mendapat amanat mengembangkan misi dalam mendukung penciptaan wirausaha baru dengan menjalin kerjasama dengan KNPI melalui penandatanganan MoU yang telah dilakukan pada tanggal 20 Januari 2011. Selain itu, dilakukan kajian mengenai potensi kewirausahaan pemuda di Kota Surakarta sehingga diharapkan potensi yang ada dapat teridentifikasi dengan baik sebagai dasar pendampingan dan pembinaan lanjutan bagi kewirausahaan pemuda di Kota Surakarta. Dari hasil penelitian, diketahui bahwa potensi kewirausahaan pemuda kota Surakarta sebagian besar (65,36%) hanya mempunyai potensi yang sedang sedangkan 30.72 % pemuda mempunyai potensi yang tinggi. Opportunity competencies, mempunyai nilai baik sebesar 32,68% dan 57.52% mempunyai nilai sedang. Organizing competencies, mempunyai nilai sedang sebesar 70.59% dan hanya 20.92% yang mempunyai nilai tinggi. Strategic competencies, mempunyai nilai sedang sebesar 73.20% dan hanya 15.03% yang mempunyai nilai tinggi. Social Competencies, mempunyai nilai sedang 43.14% sementara hanya 39.22% yang mempunyai nilai tinggi. Commitment competencies, mempunyai nilai sedang 62.75% sementara hanya 24.18% yang mempunyai nilai tinggi.     PELUANG USAHA BUDIDAYA JAMUR KUPING

    Sebagian besar wilayah di Indonesia sangat bagus untuk budidaya jamur, karena alam Indonesia yang hangat dan lembab, dan jamur akan tumbuh bila dikondisikan sesuai dengan persyaratannya. Budidaya jamur dapat dilakukan dengan mudah dan murah karena kandungan komponennya banyak menggunakan limbah, misalkan serbuk kayu dari bekas gergaji dan dedak. Jenis jamur yang paling banyak dibudidayakan di Indonesia antara lain: jamur tiram, jamur merang, jamur shitake, dan jamur kuping. Jamur kuping (Auricularia auricula) merupakan salah satu kelompok jelly fungi yang memiliki prospek bisnis sangat bagus. Hal ini disebabkan permintaan pasar domestik maupun pasar internasional masih cukup tinggi.Tak mengherankan harga jamur kuping dipasaran bisa lebih mahal dibandingkan jamur tiram serta jamur merang. This activity aims to improve the quality and capacity of management PPKwu, especially in managing journal towards reputable journals, such as by improving the content and appearance of the journal. The activity is carried out by applying a mixture of quantitative and qualitative methods, and by applying a comparative analysis to compare the conditions of JKB before and after the activities are carried out. By carrying out this activity it is hoped JKB can become a reputable journal and have sufficient qualifications to register for national journal accreditation.     UKM Elang Jawa and UKM Ontorejo is an SMEs engaged in batik craft in Sragen Regency. In the batik production process, these SMEs have difficulties in the process of coloring batik, more on color alignment for the purposes of coloring cloth with a length of fabric that exceeds 2.5 meters in length and is less effective in the use of coloring agents. Another problem is the lack of business legality in both SMEs. The purpose of this activity is to improve the technology that can support the development of traditional batik businesses UKM Elang Jawa and UKM Ontorejo through appropriate technology using Batik Coloring Machine (Feeder), business assistance and business legality management assistance with technical assistance, management training and entrepreneurship, and mentoring intensively and sustainably.     Masa pensiun acapkali dianggap menjadi masa yang kurang menyenangkan. Salah satu bentuk dalam mempersiapkan pekerjaan semasa pensiun adalah berwirausaha. Tujuan Kegiatan Pengiriman Peserta Pembekalan Pensiun Luar Daerah bagi PNS Pemerintah Kota Salatiga adalah mempersiapkan mental dalam menghadapi masa purnabakti, meningkatkan pemahaman tentang wawasan kewirausahaan dan mengenalkan bentukbentuk peluang bisnis yang dapat dilakukan dalam masa pensiunn, mempersiapkan aktivitas pekerjaan bagi calon purna bakti dalam bidang kewirausahaan, meningkatkan ketrampilan dalam berwirausaha. Metode pelatihan yang digunakan dilakukan secara partisipatif dengan metodemetode ceramah (30%), diskusi kelompok dan kunjungan lapang dengan bahan dan materi yang telah disiapkan sebelumnya. Teori diberikan dalam bentuk klasikal dan study visit (70%) dilakukan pada perusahaan atau usaha kecil dan menengah yang ada di wilayah Surakarta dan sekitarnya. Praktek simulasi bisnis diberikan kepada peserta untuk menambah wawasan peserta mengenai dunia marketing sekaligus mengevaluasi hasil praktek peserta untuk dijadikan bahan diskusi mengenai cara-cara pemasaran jitu

    Leveling entrepreneurial skills of vocational secondary school students in Indonesia: impact of demographic characteristics

    Context: This article aims to determine the entrepreneurial skills of Vocational Secondary School students after the implementation of a new curriculum that promotes entrepreneurship courses in Indonesia. The authors believe that after taking such courses, students will be able to generate entrepreneurial skills. This study also explores the effect of demographic characteristics on students\u27 entrepreneurship skills level, especially with respect to gender, school, and family. Approach: This study used a quantitative approach, with data collected through a questionnaire with five variables, that is, leadership, reflective communication, risk-taking, creatively innovative, and future orientation. Data were collected from 463 students who had taken entrepreneurship subjects that were chosen randomly. Data were analyzed using linear regression. Findings: 52.22% of our respondents had a moderate score for entrepreneurial skills, this is not in accordance with the expected learning outcomes, there are students who have entrepreneurial skills at a high level. With respect to creative innovation, in particular, a majority (53.15%) had a low score and 4.1% had a very low score. Moreover, family had a significant and positive effect on all dependent variables (leadership scores, reflective communication scores, risk-taking scores, creatively innovative scores, future orientation scores, and overall entrepreneurial skills scores). School demographic characteristics had a significant positive effect on the value of future orientation. These results indicate that private schools tend to strengthen the level of reflective communicative scores. Conclusion: The entrepreneurial skills of most vocational students are middling. This indicates that entrepreneurship subjects at Vocational Secondary schools have not been able to achieve their expected learning outcomes or help students develop entrepreneurial skills at a high level. Thus, further research is needed to determine the causes behind the problem. Schools are expected to be able to establish harmonious relationships by involving families to support the improvement of an informal learning environment that supports the mastery of entrepreneurial skills of vocational students.     Penelitian ini bertujuan: (1) Mengidentifikasi nilai-nilai pokok kewirausahaan pada siswa SMA yang akan dikembangkan dalam pembelajaran kewirausahaan; (2) Merumuskan model pembelajaran kewirausahaan bagi siswa SMA; dan (3) Menyusun panduan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kewirausahaan bagi siswa. Pendekatan penelitian yang dipilih adalah mixing method dimana kedua aspek kuantitatif dan kualitatif secara berdampingan dimanfaatkan untuk menjawab permasalahan penelitian. Populasi penelitian ini adalah siswa SMA di Kabupaten Karanganyar, teknik pengambilan sampel dengan cluster sampling. Teknik pengambilan data dengan kuesioner dan focus group discussion (FGD). Hasil yang telah dicapai adalah : 1) pada tahap awal pembelajaran kewirausahaan pada siswa SMA dikembangkan enam nilai-nilai pokok kewirausahaan yaitu kreatif, mandiri, kepemimpinan, berani menanggung resiko, berorientasi pada tindakan dan kerja keras; 2) pengembangan pendidikan kewirausahaan pada siswa SMA dilakukan dengan mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai pokok kewirausahaan pada semua mata pelajaran di SMA; 3)telah tersusun draft panduan pelaksanaan pembelajaran kewirausahaan di SMA Kata Kunci: Kewirausahaan, FGD, SMA
