    Development of Oriented Student Activity Sheets Problem-Based Learning Approaches Assisted by GeoGebra Software to Improve Metacognition Ability of Private Vocational High School PAB 12 Saentis

    This study aims to describe student activity sheets developed in oriented learning problem-based learning approaches which include: 1) validity, 2) practicality 3) effectiveness 4) improvement of students' metacognitive abilities using student activity sheets in software-oriented problem-based learning approaches assisted by software GeoGebra developed, 5) identified the level of students 'metacognitive abilities in solving problems based on the results of students' metacognitive abilities tests. This research is research and development, the product produced is a student activity sheet oriented to a problem-based learning approach developed using a 4-D development model. The subject of this study was the  grade X student of Private Vocational High School PAB 12 Saentis. From the results of the second trial obtained the activity sheet students meet the criteria: 1) valid, good 2) practical, in terms of: a) validator assessment, b) student response interviews, c) teacher response interviews, and d) implementation of student activity sheets 3) effective , in terms of a) completeness of classical learning outcomes, b) student activities, c) student positive responses, 4) there is an increase in metacognitive abilities of students using student activity sheets developed, 5) the level of student metacognition in solving problems only meets the level of strategic ability use, aware use, and tacit use.     The Development of Problem Based Learning Model to Construct High Order Thinking Skill Students’ on Mathematical Learning in SMA/MA

    This research is a development research of learning model that aimed to develop problem based learning model to construct high order thinking skill of students on mathematical learning in SMA/MA. The experiment subject and dissemination were the students in the first grade of SMA/MA in three subprovinces of North Sumatera, those are SMA Swasta Yapim Taruna Stabat subprovince Langkat, SMK Negeri 6 Medan, SMA YPK Medan, and MAN Lubuk Pakam subprovince Deli Serdang. The data collecting instruments in this research are questionnair, observation paper, interview guidance paper, mathematics book for students in the first grade of SMA/MA, mathematics book for teacher guidance and pre- and posttests instrument. This model development was adopted from Thiagarajan, Semmel & Semmel model. Concretely, learning model was implemented to increase high order thinking skill of SMA/MA students for solving mathematical problem. Moreover, this research aimed to produce mathematics book for students in first grade of SMA/MA and mathematics book for teacher guidance that consist of structured steps for solving mathematical problem based problem solving to construct high order thinking skills.     PENGEMBANGAN LKPD BERBASIS PENDEKATAN STEM (SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING, AND MATHEMATICS) UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN BERPIKIR KRITIS

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan serta menghasilkan produk LKPD berbasis pendekatan STEM yang bersifat valid, praktis, efektif dan dapat meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik. Penelitian ini merupakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan mengacu kepada model pengembangan ADDIE. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMP Swasta Al Washliyah 31 Medan yang berjumlah 20 peserta didik. Berdasarkan penelitian dan analisis data yang telah dilakukan, hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa (1) LKPD berbasis pendekatan STEM yang dikembangkan dalam kategori valid dengan rata-rata penilaian oleh para ahli ditinjau dari construct validity sebesar 4,52 serta rata-rata penilaian oleh para ahli ditinjau dari content validity sebesar 4,80. (2) LKPD berbasis pendekatan STEM yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kategori praktis ditinjau dari persentase keterlaksanaan pembelajaran sebesar 90,22% dan rata rata penilaian pelaksanaan pembelajaran 4,79 serta persentase angket respon peserta didik terhadap penggunaan LKPD sebesar 84,2%. (3) LKPD berbasis pendekatan STEM yang dikembangkan memenuhi kategori efektif ditinjau dari persentase ketuntasan belajar sebesar 85%. (4) Diperoleh skor nilai N-gain sebesar 0,71, hal ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan kemampuan berpikir kritis peserta didik dengan kategori tinggi setelah menggunakan LKPD berbasis pendekatan STEM dalam pembelajara

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesulitan pemecahan masalah soal Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) materi Sistem Persamaan Linear Dua Variabel. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas VIII-6 MTs Darul Ilmi Batangkuis dan di ambil sebanyak 3 orang yang mewakili kategori berkemampuan rendah. Analisis tes kesulitan pemecahan masalah ini mengacu pada empat tahap pemecahan masalah Polya. Instrument penelitian ini adalah tes pemecahan masalah (HOTS) dan pedoman wawancara. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian deskriptif dengan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil tes menunjukkan bahwa dari sebanyak 30 orang siswa diperoleh sebanyak 2 orang siswa memiliki kemampuan pemecahan masalah kategori “tinggi”, 3 orang siswa kategori “sedang”, dan 25 orang siswa kategori “rendah”. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, disimpulkan bahwa (1) subjek 11 mengalami kesulitan pemecahan masalah pada semua indikator pada soal (C4), mengalami kesulitan pemecahan masalah pada indikator pertama, ketiga dan keempat pada soal (C5), mengalami kesulitan pemecahan masalah pada indikator kedua, ketiga, dan kempat pada soal (C6). (2) subjek 26 mengalami kesulitan pemecahan masalah pada indikator kedua, ketiga, dan keempat pada soal (C4), (C5), (C6). (3) subjek 27 mengalami kesulitan pemecahan masalah pada semua indikator pada soal (C5) dan (C6)

    This paper is a summary study of team Postgraduate on 11nd grade. The objective of this study is to develop learning model based on problem solving which can construct high-order thinking on the learning mathematics in SMA/MA. The subject of dissemination consist of Students of 11th grade in SMA/MA in 3 kabupaten/kota in North Sumatera,namely: SMA Swasta Yapim Taruna Stabat Kabupaten Langkat, SMK Negeri 6 Medan, SMA YPK Medan, and MAN Lubuk Pakam Kabupaten Deli Serdang. Instrument of Collecting data used are questionnaires, observation guidelines, interview guides, students mathematics textbooks for 11th grade in SMA/MA, Teacher’s guide book, instrument of pre-test and post-test. Development of model are adopted from Thiagarajan’s model and  Semmel & Semmel’s model. This research has compiled teaching materials in the form of textbooks for 11th grade in SMA/MA and teacher’s guide book that includes the structured steps of solving mathematical problems based on problem solving which can construct high-order thinking.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hasil analisis menggunakan aplikasi Moodle terhadap pemahaman konsep matematika dengan menggunakan model blended learning. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kepustakaan sehingga data yang diperoleh berasal dari kumpulan literatur yang relevan yaitu jurnal-jurnal terkait untuk dibaca dan dipelajari. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengumpulkan jurnal-jurnal terkait kemudian membaca dan mereviewnya. Setelah data terkumpul, dilakukan pengujian dan perbandingan data yang ditemukan. Teknik analisis data dilakukan secara kualitatif dengan mengutip pendapat yang sesuai. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa dapat disimpulkan bahwa pembelajaran model blended learning dengan aplikasi Moodle memiliki tingkat penerimaan yang baik dan penguasaan konsep peserta dalam pembelajaran Matematika dengan Blended Learning menggunakan aplikasi Moodle termasuk kategori baik. Dengan demikian Model Blended Learning menggunakan aplikasi Moodle dapat diterapkan dalam pembelajaran.
