    Nilai pH, VFA, dan NH3 Ransum Berbasis Jerami Padi Fermentasi yang Diberi Penambahan Tepung Daun Sirsak (Annona muricata) Secara In Vitro

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui nilai pH, VFA, dan NH3 ransum yang diberi penambahan tepung daun sirsak secara In Vitro. Penelitian dilakukan melalui beberapa tahapan yaitu persiapan ransum perlakuan yang dilaksanakan di Laboratorium Fakultas Pertanian dan  pelaksanaan pengukuran pH, VFA, dan NH3 secara In Vitro dilakukan di Laboratorium Nutrisi Ternak Perah IPB.  Rancangan penelitian yang digunakan adalah Rancangan Acak Lengkap (RAL) dengan 4 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Perlakuan terdiri : T0 = Ransum basal, T1 = Ransum basal + Tepung daun sirsak 1%, T2 = Ransum basal + Tepung daun sirsak 2%, T3 = Ransum basal + Tepung daun sirsak 3%. Peubah yang diamati pH, VFA dan NH3. Data yang diperoleh dianalisis menggunakan analisis ragam dan uji lanjut  jarak berganda Duncan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan penambahan tepung daun sirsak dalam ransum secara In Vitro berpengaruh nyata terhadap nilai pH, VFA, dan NH3. Nilai pH tertinggi ditunjukkan T0 (6,95) dan terendah T3 (6,73), nilai VFA tertinggi T3 (130,95 mM) dan terendah T0 (73 mM), serta nilai NH3 tertinggi ditunjukkan T3 (10,90 mM) dan terendah T0 (8,73). Kesimpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penambahan tepung daun sirsak dalam ransum hingga 3% signifikan menurunkan nilai pH, meningkatkan nilai VFA dan NH

    Training on the Application of Silage Technology for Vegetable Waste as Feed for Ducks in Kayu Manis Village

    Purpose: This study addresses the challenge of low community knowledge in Kayu Manis village, aiming to boost interest and skills in duck farming. The primary objective is to elevate community understanding by applying silage technology to convert vegetable waste into duck feed. Method: Through training sessions involving socialization, practical demonstrations, and hands-on practice, participants learn to create vegetable waste silage as duck feed. Pre- and post-test evaluation reveals significant sequential improvements of 88.15%, 7.69%, and 89.23% in knowledge, interest, and skills. Practical Applications: The outcomes offer practical benefits for the community and potential scalability for similar agricultural sectors. Silage technology proves valuable in enhancing sustainable farming practices. Conclusion: In conclusion, the community-based intervention focusing on making vegetable waste silage effectively achieves its goals of enhancing participants' knowledge, interest, and skills in duck farming. The sequential increases of 88.15%, 7.69%, and 89.23% underscore the training program's success. The practical applications extend beyond Kayu Manis village, demonstrating the broader relevance and impact of implementing silage technology in agricultural practices. This research contributes significantly to addressing the initial problem outlined in the introduction, emphasizing the importance of sustainable and innovative approaches in community-based agrarian interventions

    Organoleptic Test of Salted Eggs with Addition of Herbal Plants

    The addition of salt and herbal plants such as bay leaf (Eugenia polyantha) and lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus DC) extacts can extender the shelf life and increase the flavor of the salted eggs. The purpose of this study was to determine the quality of eggs produced from using the herbal plants in terms of the organoleptic testing. This research used eggs from laying hens with salted egg making media consisting of rubbing ash plus salt, supplemented with bay leaf (Eugenia polyantha), lemongrass (Cymbopogon citratus DC), with storage period of 10 days. Organoleptic test results showed that the addition of bay leaves and lemongrass to the production of salted eggs, did not significantly improve the quality of salted eggs produced. The lack of storage time in the egg marinating process led to the incomplete, in salt water absorption into the egg. It is concluded that the addition of bay leaves and lemongrass to the media of making salted chicken eggs did not have a significantly different effect on the organoleptic quality of the salted eggs

    Daging ayam ras petelur afkir memiliki kualitas yang rendah seperti aromanya yang amis dan tekstur dagingnya yang alot. Hal ini menyebabkan konsumsi masyarakat terhadap daging ayam ras petelur afkir rendah. Tujuan kegiatan pengabdian ini adalah untuk melakukan pelatihan kepada PKK. Desa Karang Jaya terkait pengolahan daging ayam ras petelur afkir menjadi abon. Pelatihan ini dilaksanakan di desa Karang Jaya, Kecamatan Selupu Rejang kabupaten Rejang Lebong Provinsi Bengkulu. Tahapan kegiatan pengabdian ini meliputi: transfer ilmu pengetahuan tentang ayam ras petelur, daging ayam ras petelur, abon, manfaat pembuatan abon, dan teknik pengemasan. Kemudian dilanjutkan dengan kegiatan inti yaitu pelatihan pembuatan abon ayam ras petelur afkir, dan pengemasan abon. Sebelum dan setelah rangkaian kegiatan pengabdian, dilakukan evaluasi terhadap pengetahuan, keterampilan dan minat peserta terhadap pelatihan pembuatan abon. Hasil dari pelatihan ini terlihat bahwa terjadi peningkatan pengetahuan sebesar 50%, keterampilan meningkat sebesar 78%, dan minat peserta baik sebelum dan setelah pelatihan tetap bertahan 100%. Simpulan dari kegiatan penabdian ini adalah bahwa kegiatan pelatihan pembuatan abon daging ayam ras petelur afkir telah berlangsung dengan baik, peserta antusias mengikuti rangkaian kegiatan pelatihan serta terjadi peningkatan dari segi pengetahuan dan keterampilan peserta terkait abon ayam ras petelur afkir. This causes people's consumption of rejected layer chicken meat to be scant. The purpose of the service activity is to conduct training Family Welfare Program at Karang Jaya Village related to the processing of refined laying chicken into floss. This training was held in Karang Jaya Village, Selupu Rejang District, Rejang Lebong Regency, Bengkulu Province. The stage of this service activities includes a transfer of knowledge about layer chicken, layer chicken meat, floss, the benefits of making floss, and packaging techniques. Then proceed with the core activities, namely training in made rejected layer chicken meat floss and packaging. Before and after a series of service activities, an evaluation of the knowledge, skill, and interest of the participants in the floss-making training was conducted. The result of this training showed that there was an increase in knowledge by 50%, skills have been well, the participants are enthusiastic about participating in a series of training activities and there has been an increase in the knowledge and skill of participants related to rejected layer chicken meat floss

    AbstractThe purpose of this study was to describe the form and meaning of persona, place and time deixis in the novel Meniti di Atas Kabut by Abu Umar Basyier. The research method used is descriptive in the form of qualitative research. The data in this study is the deixis of person, place and time contained in the novel Meniti di Atas Kabut by Abu Umar Basyier. The source of the data in this study is the novel Meniti di Atas Kabut by Abu Umar Basyier. The data collection technique used in this research is a documentary study technique. Based on the analysis results in the novel Meniti di Atas Kabut by Abu Umar Basyier, it can be concluded that there are first, second and third person deixis in the form of singular and plural, in the form of free morpheme and bound morpheme in the form of proclitic and enclinic. There are deixis of proximal, semiproximal, and distal places in the form of words and phrases. There is deixis of past, present and future times in the form of words. Then all form data from place and time person deixis have lexical meaning and grammatical meaning. In addition, this research can also be used as a teaching material in the 2013 curriculum of Indonesian language learning, for the odd semester class XI with Competence: Basics of constructing short stories by paying attention to the elements of short story.Keywords: Persona Deixis, Place, Time, Novel Meniti di Atas Kabu

    PELAKSANAAN PEMBELAJARAN MATA PELAJARAN PENDIDIKAN JASMANI OLAHRAGA DAN KESEHATAN MATERI KEBUGARAN JASMANI DI SMK NEGERI 3 BATU

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa di SMK Negeri 3 Batu dan pelaksanaan pembelajaran PJOK di SMK Negeri 3 Batu. Metode penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kuantitatif menggunakan instrumen tes TKJI untuk mengukur tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa SMK Negeri 3 Batu dan instrumen non tes bentuk kuesioner yang digunakan untuk mengukur pelaksanaan pembelajaran PJOK di SMK Negeri 3 Batu. Populasi pada penelitian ini siswa SMK Negeri 3 Batu sebanyak 88 siswa dan 3 guru PJOK di SMK Negeri 3 Batu. Hasil analisi data diperoleh siswa laki-laki tidak ada yang termasuk kriteria baik sekali, untuk kriteria baik 1%, kriteria sedang 59%, kriteria kurang 37%, dan kriteria kurang sekali 3% dan untuk hasil keseluruhan siswa perempuan tidak ada yang termasuk kedalam kriteria baik sekali dan kriteria baik, untuk kriteria sedang 60%, kriteria kurang 27% dan untuk kriteria kurang sekali 3% dan untuk proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran PJOK di SMK Negeri 3 Batu dalam proses pembelajaran bahwa aspek pembelajaran dengan tingkat persentase sebanyak 71% dalam memberikan tugas gerak kebugaranjasmani tingkat persentase sebanyak 80% dan untuk evaluasi pembelajaran dengan persentase 88%. Penelitian disimpulkan bahwa hasil tes kebugaran jasmani siswa SMK Negeri 3 Batu sebagian besar siswa masuk ke dalam kategori sedang, dan proses pelaksanaan pembelajaran PJOK di SMK Negeri 3 Batu termasuk kategori baik

The purpose of this study was to determine the growth and first  production of Setaria grass planted on ultisol soil with the addition of Goat Manure Fertilizer (GMF). The study design used a Randomized Block Design (RBD) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications. The treatment is S0 = Ultisol Land, S1 = S0 + GMF 100 g/Polybag, S2 = S0 + GMF 150 g/Polybag, S3 = S0 + GMF 200 g/Polybag, S4 = S0 + GMF 250 g/Polybag, and S5 = S0 + GMF 300 g/Polybag. The variables observed were Plant Height, Number of Tiller, Fresh Weight, and Dry Weight. The data obtained were analyzed for variance (ANOVA) and further tests were carried out using the DMRT Advanced Test. The results showed that the treatment of GMF addition on Ultisol soil had a very significant effect (P <0.01) on Setaria grass height, Number of tillers, Fresh weight production, and Production of dry weight. Advanced Test Results DMRT shows the highest Setaria grass shown by S5 treatment (85.58 cm), the highest number of tillers indicated by treatment S5 (20.42 tillers), the heaviest fresh weight of Setaria grass shown by S5 (225.33 g), and weight the heaviest dryness is also indicated by S5 (46.50 g). The conclusion of this study is that the growth and production of Setaria grass planted on Ultisol soil significantly increased with the increasing dose of goat manure fertilizer.Keywords: growth, production, goat manure fertilizer, setaria grass, ultisol lan

    Feed is an important aspect in livestock business. Its role can reach 60-70% of the total production cost so that the use of alternative feed ingredients based on local resources needs to be increased. The purpose of this study was to determine the use of dried tofu dregs in the ration on the performa of starter Tegal male ducks. The research method used is an experimental method. The duck maintenance process lasts for 2 months. The research design used was a Completely Randomized Design (CRD) consisting of 6 treatments and 4 replications. Each test consisted of 4 ducks. The treatments consisted of: P0 = 100% ration, P1 = 90% ration + 10% Dry Tofu Dregs, P2 = 80% Ration + 20% Dry Tofu Dregs, P3 = 70% Ration + 30% Dry Tofu Dregs, P4 = 60% Ration + 40% Dry Tofu Dregs, P5 = 50% Ration + 50% Dry Tofu Dregs. Observed variables: Feed Intake, body weight gain, feed conversion, and mortality. The data obtained were analyzed using Analysis of Variance and Duncan's Multiple Range Test. The results showed that the treatment of the use of dried tofu waste in the ration had a significant effect (P 0.05) on body weight gain, feed conversion, and mortality. The conclusion from this study the P3 treatment showed an indication that the performa of Tegal ducks was relatively better than other treatments

Innovations offered to farmers include robotics technology. The technology in question is a hydraulic and Line Follower (HLF) robot. Hydraulics robot is a type of robot that uses liquid pressure as its driving force while the Robot Line Follower is a feed distribution robot that utilizes sensor technology. Robot Line Follower can move on its own by using a sensor line that will be made to follow the direction of the animal feed so that the robot can distribute feed to existing livestock. The purpose of writing this scientific paper is for medium-scale farmers and industry to know how to assemble Hydraulic and Line Follower robots, HLF robot work, process of using robots and know the advantages of applying HLF robot technology. The scope of this scientific article is in the fields of technological innovation, animal husbandry, and the food industry. The problems that will be examined in this scientific article consist of: how to assemble HLF robots, how to work HLF robots, HLF robot applications in cattle farms and the advantages of HLF Robot application. The idea of this article is sourced from surveys to cattle farms to obtain data and analysis of the work mechanism of animal feed and literature studies to strengthen opinions.
