ISLAMIC EDUCATION STUDENTS’ PERSPECTIVE ABOUT ENGLISH SUBJECT
This research aims to know the perspective of Islamic students about English subject. It reveals the questions such as: 1) what is the perspective of Islamic studies students towards English Subject in State Islamic Institute Pontianak?, 2) how does English learning process help Islamic studies students in State Islamic Institute Pontianak enrich their field study knowledge?. The research used mixed method. To answers the first research question, survey was used as research method, and questioner was used as instrument. Meanwhile, to answer the second research question, qualitative approach was chosen as method to gain answer. Interview was used as data collecting technique. The finding found that Islamic education students had positive perception dealing with the importance of learning English. The result also showed that English learning process on most of students’ perspective had not been effective and it did not give much contribution in increasing students’ English ability which deals with their disciplines. In conclusion, positive perception of students about the importance of learning English was not facilitated enough by learning process.

ENHANCING ISLAMIC EDUCATION STUDENT’S READING COMPREHENSION BY USING AUTHENTIC MATERIAL
Abstract
The study is aimed to enhance reading comprehension of the second semester students of PAI
students of FTIK IAIN Pontianak by using Authentic Material. This is an action research with the subjects were 34 students of Islamic education students (PAI)FTIK IAIN Pontianak in academic year 2018/2019. This is in two cycles and the result was it is effective in enhancing the Islamic education students’ reading comprehension. These materials were much effective when the students together with the authentic task. The improvements such as more focus and active in participating classroom activities in classroom, also motivated and interesting in reading activities. And the class atmosphere is more enjoy and enthusiastic. .

The Impact of Teaching Vocabulary for Junior High School Students Using Scrabble Game
         ABSTRACTThis research aimed to investigate the use of teaching vocabulary using Scrabble Game on the students’ achievement. The method applied in this research is Pre-experimental research. Pre-experimental research use three group Pre-test and Post-test. The sample of this research is the first grade students of SMP Negeri 1 sungai Raya Kepulauan.The experimental group was given a pre-test consisted 20 items of test (that was initially tried out before at the same class). After the Pre-test was done, it was continued with three times of treatments where the researcher used 20 words as the screabble material, antonym and synonym words. After the treatments were given, a Post-test with the same test items was administered. The result of Pre-test and Post-test were calculated and compared to determine significant increase by using the matched t-test formula. The research finding the t observed value is 3.66 indicated that the treatments have an effect on performance. Since the value of the observed t value is 3.66 exceeds the t critical value of 2.262 at the intersection of 9 df and .05, it shows that the students’ scores differ significantly from Pre-test to Post-test. This research shows that teaching vocabulary using scrabble game increases the students’ achievement onvocabulary. Scrabble game is basically suggested and considered good and appropriate as technique at teaching vocabulary.Keywords : scrabble game, vocabulary, pre experimental
The Use of List-Group-Label (LGL) Strategy in Teaching Vocabulary (A Pre-Experimental Research to the second semester Students of Islamic Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of IAIN Pontianak in the Academic Year of 2017/2018)
The aim of this research was to find out the effectiveness of List-Group-Label (LGL) strategy in teaching vocabulary and how significant the effect of List-Group-Label (LGL) strategy was in teaching vocabulary to the second semester Students of Islamic Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of IAIN Pontianak in the Academic Year of 2017/2018.The research design employs a pre-experimental research in form of one group Pretest- Posttest design and had no control group. The population of this research was all of the second semester Students of Islamic Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of IAIN Pontianak in the Academic Year of 2017/2018 consisted of 317 students and the chosen sample was class B. The sample was taken by apllying Cluster random sampling technique. The research was conducted at IAIN Pontianak.The technique of data collection in this research was measurement. The data were collected with essay test. The pre-test and post-test were distributed in order to get the data from the students. The data were analyzed by using t test. The result revealed that List-Group-Label (LGL) strategy was effective on students’ vocabulary mastery because the mean score in pretest and posttest were different and the difference were considered significant. The effect size calculation revealed that List-Group-Label (LGL) strategy gave strong effect to the students’ vocabulary mastery. It could be inferred that List-Group-Label (LGL) strategy was significantly effective in teaching vocabulary to the second semester Students of Islamic Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of IAIN Pontianak in the Academic Year of 2017/2018 and the treatments gave strong effect to the students in learning vocabulary. List-Group-Label (LGL) strategy can be implemented in teaching vocabulary in order to improve students’ vocabulary mastery
PENINGKATAN KEMAMPUAN MEMBACA MAHASISWA PROGRAM STUDI BAHASA INGGRIS DENGAN MENGGUNAKAN TASK BASED LEARNING
Tujuan penelitian adalah untuk mengetahui peningkatan kemampuan mahasiswa Prodi Bahasa Inggris Semester 1 di IKIP PGRI Pontianak dengan menggunakan Task Based Learning. Adapun metode yang digunakan adalah Action Research. Bentuk penelitian adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK). Subjek penelitian adalah mahasiswa semester I Prodi Bahasa Inggris IKIP PGRI Pontianak tahun akademik 2015/2016. Penelitian dilaksanakan pada 6 Juli sampai dengan 3 Oktober 2016. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yaitu teknik observasi langsung dan alat pengumpul data yang digunakan adalah lembar observasi dan teknik komunikasi tidak langsung berupa angket. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diperoleh simpulan bahwa metode Task Based Learning memiliki dampak positif dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar mahasiswa yang ditandai dengan peningkatan ketuntasan belajar mahasiswa dalam setiap siklus, yaitu siklus I (65,63%) dan siklus II (87,50%).Kata Kunci: Task Based Learning, membaca, Penelitian Tindakan Kelas
A CORRELATIONAL STUDY BETWEEN STUDENT’S ENGLISH INTEREST, VOCABULARY MASTERY, AND STUDENT’S ACHIEVEMENT
The study is aimed to reveal the correlation between student’s English interest, vocabulary mastery toward student’s English achievement of the second-semester Students of Islamic Education Department of Teacher Training and Education Faculty of IAIN Pontianak in the academic year of 2017/2018. This study used a test, a questionnaire, and documentation to collect the data. The population of the study is all of the second-semester students while the sample is 50 students taken by cluster random sampling technique. The techniques used to analyze the data are simple and multiple correlation and regression by using SPSS 23. The results of the study show that there is a positive correlation between student’s English interest, and vocabulary mastery toward student’s English achievement. The positive correlation indicates that English interest, and vocabulary mastery line together with student’s English achievement.keywords: correlation, english interest, vocabulary mastery english achievemen

Bank Responsibilities in Guaranting Customer Data at Bank Syariah Indonesia of Lhokseumawe City
Leakage of customers' personal information data is a recurring problem in Indonesia, which impacts both state-owned and private banks. Leaks occur due to various internal and external factors, creating a significant data misuse risk. To overcome this problem, Law Number 27/2022 concerning the Protection of Personal Data emphasizes the importance of protecting personal information and ensuring proper use. This study investigates the responsibility of Bank Syariah Indonesia in the city of Lhokseumawe in protecting customer data, identifies factors contributing to data breaches, and proposes steps to mitigate the incident. By using empirical normative juridical research methods, this research used a law-based and case-based approach. The findings revealed that Bank Syariah Indonesia Lhokseumawe also experienced data breaches, mainly due to internal and external factors. The actions of bank employees cause internal leaks, while external factors include individuals involved in fraudulent activities to exploit customer data. Urgent action must be taken to effectively address data breaches, including comprehensive security protocols, staff training, and cooperation with relevant authorities. By adhering to these steps, banks can strengthen their data protection practices and effectively mitigate the risks associated with data breaches
al-kalam al-insya'i fi khutbati jum'ati lisunan Giri
Ilmu balaghah memiliki tiga cabang ilmu yaitu ma’ani, bayan dan badi’. Berkenaan dengan hal itu skripsi ini membahas tentang salah satu cabang ilmu balaghah yaitu ilmu ma’ani khususnya kalam insya’ dalam khutbah Jum’ah Sunan Giri. Dalam ilmu balaghah kalam insya’ adalah kalam yang pembicaraannya tidak dapat disebut sebagai orang yang benar atau dusta. Kalam insya’ dibagi menjadi dua yaitu kalam insya’ thalabi dan ghoiru thalabi. Sedangkan Sunan Giri adalah seorang wali yang sangat berpegang teguh pada ajaran Alquran dan Sunnah Rasul, sehingga beliau bukan saja disegani dikalangan masyarakat banyak, bahkan juga para wali songo itu sendiri. Beliau termasuk seorang ulama yang wira’i, yang sangat berhati-hati dalam memutuskan hukum karena takut terperosok ke dalam jurang kesyirikan. Maka dari itu, dalam urusan ubudiyah beliau benar-benar berpegag teguh pada Alquran dan Hadits Nabi SAW. Adapun titik fokus permasalahan dalam pembahasan ini adalah: (a) Apa sajakah macam-macam kalam insya’ dalam khutbah jum’ah Sunan Giri pada bulan jumadil awwal?, (b) Apa sajakah makna-makna kalam insya’ dalam khutbah jum’ah Sunan Giri pada bulan jumadil Awwal? Sedangkan Dalam penelitian ini, metode yang digunakan peneliti adalah metode kualitatif. Berdasarkan dari analisis tersebut dapat diperoleh bahwa: kalam insya’I yang ditemukan dalam khutbah jum’at Sunan Giri yaitu sebagai berikut kalam insya’I thalabi : amar, istifham, nida’ dan qosam.
