    Legal Sosio Approach in the Sustainable Utilization of Northern Coastal Area of Jakarta

    Utilization of the northern coastal area of Jakarta through reclamation is in order to expand the land. Considering the current development of the city of Jakarta, it needs a reclamation program. If you want to see more clearly about reclamation, you should see between the policy of reclamation and the implementation of reclamation policy on the north coastal of Jakarta. It means, it cannot be separated from the social and personal forces that encompass it. The method used in this research was a normative juridical research with a socio-legal approach. This study tried to approach a problem of the reclamation in the North Coastal of Jakarta by combining between normative analysis and non-legal science approach through the study of non-legal theory. The purpose of this study was to find out how legal products can be the basis in the sustainable use of coastal areas. Consequently, the legal products that become the foundation in the utilization of coastal areas contain the meaning of the values of alignment to the interests of the environment. The formulation of the problem is why the reclamation of North Coastal Jakarta got rejection from the traditional fishermen in MuaraAngke? How is the policy of Jakarta Capital City in reclamation of North Coastalarea of Jakarta linked to the concept of sustainable development?     Keywords: socio legal, coastal, sustainable utilization

    Dalam penelitian ini, system terpadu rekam medik rumah sakit dibuat dengan teknologi smart card sebagai media penimpanan data Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menerapkan teknologi smart card sebagai sarana atau media penyimpan informasi pasien yang mempunyai kesederhana, keandalan, dan portabilitas yang tinggi, sehingga meningkatkan jaminan ketersediaan data pada sebuah sistem rekam medik.Tahapan pembuatan rancang bangun sistem rekam medis ini meliputi perancangan data flow diagram, rentity relationshipp diagram, database dan program aplikasi. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa smart card dapat digunakan sebagai sarana atau media penyimpan informasi pasien yang mempunyai kesederhana, keandalan, dan portabilitas yang tinggi

    ABSTRACK Background : Industrial sector has a big role in performing standard of health. The environmental quality decresed mostly happened in several places, notably in big cities, because of the bad behavior of industrial-waste banishment. The district of Candisari is one of nine districts in the City of Semarang, where 70 small industries crushed-soybeans and fermented- soybeans products exits; the most are in the city. The result of the preliminary study revealed that the waste water volume from each industry ranges from 800 liters to 1000 liters per day. Generally, these amounts of waste-water were wasted directly into the river of Kalibajak without pre treatment. Mean while, reviewing toward several member of society, who lived around the river, revealed that there were complaints of unpleasant smell and river shallowness supposed to result from the sedimentation of Industrial waste of crushed-soybeans and fermented-soybeans products. Therefore, the objective of this study was to examine the factors affected the practice of waste-water processing by the performers of small industry of crushed-soybeans products. Methods : This is an explanatory study using survey method with Cross Sectional design. The study took place in the district of Candisari, Semarang. The subjects of the study were all of the performers of small industry of crushed-soybeans and fermented-soybeans products in the district, which were 70 persons. As for crosscheck, Deep-seated interviews were carried out in triangulation manner towards 12 public figures, one health officer, and one officer of the Regional Body of Environmental Impact Control (Bapedalda), City of Semarang. The data would be analyzed using Chi-Square technique, and multivariate analysis was performed using logistic regression test. Results : The results of the logistic regression with backward stepwise method study reveals that the effect of the level of education on practice is 2.297 times, the effect of social environment on practice is more than 3.109 times. Mean while, level of knowledge, the cost consideration and attitude in this study have no effects on the practice of waste-water processing by the performers of small industry. Conclusion : The social environment is the most dominant variable on the practice of waste-water processing by the performers of small industry of crushed-soybeans and fermented-soybeans products and its effect is 3.109 times. The recommendation of this study suggest that support from public figures, the health Government Office of Semarang City (the continuous guidance toward the small industry to perform the clean and healthy environment

    Energy Sufficiency of Feed Containing Fermented Mulberry Leaves (Morus alba) Determined by measurement of Glucose, Abdominal Fat and Feed Intake

    This study was conducted to determine the effect of using rumen liquid fermented mulberry leaves in boiler???s diet on feed consumption, blood glucose, and abdominal fat. This research used 100 of day old CP 707 broiler chicks, as well as concentrate, fermented mulberry leaves and other feed stuffs. The experiment was carried out according to completely randomized design consisted of five treatments, i.e. T0 (control), T1 (10% mulberry leaf), T2 (10% fermented mulberry leaf), T3 (20% mulberry leaf) and T4 (20% fermented mulberry leaf) and four replications for each treatment. Result of the study showed that the increasing use of mulberry leaves, either fermented or unfermented, significantly (P<0.05) increased feed consumption compared to control. Treatment with 20% unfermented murlberry leaf significantly (P<0.05) decreased fat and glucose levels. This study concludes that 20% murlberry used in diet decrease energy density of diet and the use of 10% fermented mulberry leaf produced better results than unfermented

    Supplementation of Purple Sweet Potato Extract on Protein Digestibility and Meat Protein Mass in Broiler Reared Under Different Cage Density

    The research was conducted to evaluate supplemental effect of purple sweet potato extract (PSPE) on protein intake, ileum protein digestibility and meat protein mass. The experiment was assigned in a randomized complete design with 2×3 factorial scheme, 6 treatments and 4 replications. The first factor was cage density (normal density/D1 = 8 birds/m2 and high density/D2 = 16 birds/m2), and the second factor was the extract levels of purple sweet potato (A0 = control diet, A1 = diet containing 25 ml PSPE/kg feed and A2 = diet containing 50 ml PSPE/kg feed). Birds were kept in a brooder cage for 14 days and then transferred to colony cages (1×1 m) until the age of 35 days. When measurement of protein digestibility the birds were moved to individual battery cage on day 35. The experimental feed contained 21% crude protein and metabolizable energy of 3000 kcal/kg. The results showed that the extract of purple sweet potato and cage density did not show significant (P0.05) interaction. The supplementation of purple sweet potato extract significantly (P0.05) affected protein intake, protein digestibility and meat protein mass, while the cage density affected only the protein digestibility

    The Effectivity of Fermented Mulberry Leaves with Rumen Liquor as Broiler Feed on Final Body Weight, Dry Matter and Crude Fiber Digestibility, and Metabolic Energy

Objective of this research was to know the effect of fermented mulberry leaves by rumen liquorin boiler's diet measured from final body weight, dry matter digestibility, crude fiber digestibility, and metabolic energy. One hundred broiler strain CP 707, broiler concentrate, mulberry leaves and other feed stuffs were administered in Completely Randomized Design with 5 treatments, namely T0 (control), T1 (10% mulberry leaves), T2 (10% fermented mulberry leaves), T3 (20% mulberry leaves) and T4 (20% fermented mulberry leaves) with 4 replications. Result revealed that the increasing use of mulberry leaves had significantly lowered final body weight, dry matter and fiber digestibility, metabolic energy. Fermentation treatment at 10% level could increase dry matter digestibility, crude fiber and metabolic energy than those of unfermented. This study concluded that the increasing mulberry leaves in broiler feed could reduce feed digestibility, and fermentation by rumen liquor could optimize the use of mulberry leaves as broilers feed

    The goal of this research is to examine whether there is an effect of giving S. molesta weed in Rawa Pening as the composition for brolier chicken ration. The ration contains of organochlorine pesticides. Material given in this research are chicken meats from 16 cut up of the chickens. These chicken are from 100 broiler chickens strain Lohman which have been raised for about 42 days. The approximate mass of chicken body for each chicken is about 1 up to 1.5 kilograms. This reserach used several stages. The stages are preparation and raising the chickens, cutting up the chickens, preparation for the samples, and the analysis by using Gas Chromatography (CG) procedure. The design of the research used in the raising the chickens is Complete Random Design with 4 treatments which for each treatments has been done in four times treatment (To = Broiler ration with 0 % of S. molesta; T1 = Broiler ration with 6 % of S. molesta; T2 = Broiler ration with 12 % of S. molesta; T3 = Broiler ration with 18 % of S. molesta). The analysis for total organochlorine used 16 samples of chicken meats with 4 treatments by 4 times random repetitions. The analysis for the organochlorine profile used 4 samples of chicken Broiler meat by 4 treatments. The data about the content of total organochlorine was analyzed with F test (One Way Anova) in significant range (α) = 0.05. Then, continuing the analysis was by using double region test Duncan, processing of the data was used SPSS 16.0 program. While, the data about the content of organochlorine profile was analyzed descriptively. The result of the research showed that the ration with treatment until 18 % for the broiler chicken has affected (P&lt;0.05) towards organochlorine for chicken meat. The total analysis in organochlorine shows that there is a siginicant increase. The increasing data are 0.05 ppm; 0.09 ppm; 0.14 ppm; dan 0.18 ppm. It has been stated that all the analysis for organochlorine profile for all the giving ration could not be detected because the result was still beyond the detection limit

    Pemberian Ransum dengan Protein dan Kalsium Mikropartikel Ditambah Lactobacillus acidophilus atau acidifier terhadap Ketahanan Tubuh dan Bobot Karkas Broiler

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji pengaruh ransum menggunakan protein dan kalsium mikropartikel yang ditambah probiotik Lactobacillus acidophillus atau acidifier terhadap organ limfoid, rasio heterofil-limfosit (H/L) dan bobot karkas pada ayam broiler. Ternak yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini 160 ekor ayam broiler umur 15 hari (bobot badan 343,53± 9,57g). Perlakuan yang diterapkan yaitu T0:(ransum protein standar 21%).T1: (ransum protein non mikropartikel 18% + Lactobacillus acidophilus 1,2 ml (108 cfu/ml)) T2: (ransum protein non mikropartikel 18% + asam sitrat 1,2 %.) T3: (ransum protein mikropartikel 18% + Lactobacillus acidophilus 1,2 ml (108 cfu/ml), dan T4: (ransum protein mikropartikel 18%  + asam sitrat 1,2 %.) Parameter yang diamati adalah bobot relatif organ limfoid (bursa fabrisius, timus dan limfa), rasio H/L dan bobot karkas. Penelitian disusun dalam rancangan acak lengkap (RAL) dengan 5 perlakuan dan 4 ulangan. Masing-masing ulangan terdiri dari 8 ekor ayam broiler. Data dianalisis ragam (analysis of variance) pada taraf 5 % dan dilanjutkan dengan uji Duncan apabila perlakuan menunjukkan pengaruh nyata. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perlakuan ransum protein mikropartikel 18% ditambah asam sitrat (T4)  nyata (P<0,05)  meningkatkan bobot relatif timus (0,22%), bursa fabrisius (0,18%) dan limfa (0,30%), dengan bobot karkas paling tinggi pada perlakuan kontrol (T0) (1079,50 g) namun tidak nyata terhadap rasio H/L. Kesimpulan penelitian yaitu pemberian ransum mikropartikel dengan protein 18%  yang ditambah acidifier mampu mempertahankan ketahanan tubuh tetap stabil berdasarkan rasio H/L, dan meningkatkan bobot relatif bursa dan timus, namun menurunkan bobot karkas

    Protein Digestibility, Nitrogen Retention, and Meat Protein Mass of Broiler Chickens Fed on Mulberry Leaves Fermented with Rumen Liquid

    The aim of the experiment was to determine the optimal levels in the utilization of mulberry leaves fermented with rumen liquid as well as unfermented mulberry leaves, based on its effects on protein digestibility, nitrogen retention, and protein mass of broiler chickens. One hundred CP 707 day old chicks, unsex, were randomly assigned to receive one of five treatments diets were T0 (basal diet), T1 (10% unfermented mulberry leaf), T2 (10% fermented mulberry leaf), T3 (20% unfermented mulberry leaf), and T4 (20% fermented mulberry leaf). Replication for each treatment was four so that the total experimental unit was 20 and each experimental unit consisted of five chickens. The results showed that the administration of 10% mulberry leaves increased the digestibility of protein fermentation, but had no effects on nitrogen retention and protein mass of meat

    Kombinasi Pemberian Vitamin A dan E dalam Ransum terhadap Kecernaan Lemak dan Indikator Ketahanan Tubuh pada Ayam Kedu Petelur

    The study aims to examine the effect of vitamin A and E combination in ration to increase productivity seen from body resistannce indicators ( heterophile / lymphocyte ratio (H/L ratio) and blood cholesterol) of kedu layer chickens. The research was conducted in November 2011 until February 2012. The research using 20 males and 100 females one year old Kedu chicken, Experimental design used was Completely Randomized Design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 5 replications. Treatment applied were T0 = ration without supplementation, T1 = ration + vitamin E, T2 = ration + vitamin A and T3 = ration + vitamin A and E. Ration composed from yellow corn, rice bran, soybean meal, fish meal, shellfish meal and CaCO3. Parameters observed are H/L ratio, fat digestibility, blood cholesterol and the hen day production (HDP). Data were analyzed with Analysis of Variance and continue analyzed by Duncan's multiple range test. The results showed a significant effect (P &lt;0.05) on fat digestibility but had no significant effect (P &lt;0.05) against H/L ratio, blood cholesterol and HDP. Based on the results of this study concluded that combination of vitamin A (2000 IU) and E (20 IU) in ration did not interfere body resistance stability and even improve the response of chicken to the environment based on the value of H/L ratio and blood cholesterol
