    The Finite Difference Time Domain (FDTD) Method to Determine Energies and Wave Functions of Two-Electron Quantum Dot

    The finite difference time domain (FDTD) method has been successfully applied to obtain energies and wave functions for two electrons in a quantum dot modeled by a three dimensional harmonic potential. The FDTD method uses the time-dependent Schr\"odinger equation (TDSE) in imaginary time. The TDSE is numerically solved with an initial random wave function and after enough simulation time, the wave function converges to the ground state wave function. The excited states are determined by using the same procedure for the ground state with additional constraints that the wave function must be orthogonal with all lower energy wave functions. The numerical results for energies and wave functions for different parameters of confinement potentials are given and compared with published results using other numerical methods. It is shown that the FDTD method gives accurate energies and wave functions.Comment: 7 pages, 4 figure

    The Objective of this study is to identify the effect of transformational leadership, work environment and organizational commitment toward job satisfaction and employees’ performance administration of Warmadewa University, Denpasar Bali. The research approach used was deductive quantitative approach focusing on formal and substantive theory. Hypotheses were formulated to be tested so as to empirical social reality about the employees’ performance. Data collection methods used were questionnaires distributed using Likert scale at the rating interval between 1-5 scores. The sample of the research was 62 administration employees of Warmadewa University of Denpasar Bali as respondents involved in this research. The method of analysis used to determine the relationship between variables was structural model using the method PLS (Partial Least Square) with the aid of SmartPLS 2.0 software. Key research findings included: 1. Transformational leadership has a significant negative impact on job satisfaction, 2. Work environment has an important impact on job satisfaction, 3. Organizational commitment has an important impact on job satisfaction, 4. Transformational leadership has no significant impact on performance employees, 5. Work environment does not have an important impact on employees’ performance, 6. Organizational commitment has an important impact on employee performance, 7. Job satisfaction has an important impact on employees’ performance. Discussions on the results and research findings provided further with addressable suggestions, such as the importance of paying attention to transformational leadership patterns to align in encouraging job satisfaction and employees’ performance

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh LK3I pada project based learning dalam meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif, keterampilan berpikir kreatif ilmiah dan kritis ilmiah siswa pada materi gelombang bunyi. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah quasi-eksperimen dengan random sampling. Tahap penelitian meliputi persiapan, pelaksanaan, dan tahap akhir. Pada tahap persiapan dilakukan studi pendahuluan, pembuatan RPP, dan validasi instrumen oleh 4 validator ahli. Pada tahap pelaksanaan dilakukan di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung dengan pemberian tes awal (pretest), implementasi pembelajaran menggunakan project based learning dengan LKS konvensional dan LK3I, kemudian diberikan tes akhir (posttest). Partisipan penelitian adalah 22 orang siswa baik kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen di salah satu SMA di Kota Bandung. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah instrumen kemampuan kognitif dan keterampilan berpikir kreatif ilmiah serta kritis ilmiah. Setelah seluruh tahapan penelitian dilakukan, dilakukan uji rata-rata gain . Berdasarkan hasil, didapat kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen adalah 0,587 dan 0,697 untuk kemampuan kognitif. Untuk keterampilan berpikir kreatif ilmiah, kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen 0,595 dan 0,685, sedangkan untuk keterampilan berpikir kritis ilmiah kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen 0,600 dan 0,642. Data skor pretest-posttest kelas kontrol dan kelas eksperimen kemudian dikorelasikan. Nilai korelasi antara kemampuan kognitif dengan kemampuan berpikir kreatif ilmiah pretest-posttest kelas kontrol 0,490 dan 0,525 kategori cukup, untuk kelas eksperimen nilai korelasi pretest-posttest 0,697 dan 0,772 kategori tinggi. Nilai korelasi antara kemampuan kognitif dengan kemampuan berpikir kritis ilmiah kelas kontrol pada pretest 0,519 dan posttest 0,547 kategori cukup, dan untuk kelas eksperimen pada pretest 0,6222 dan posttest 0,630 kategori tinggi. Nilai korelasi antara keterampilan berpikir kreatif ilmiah dan kritis ilmiah kelas kontrol pretest-posttest adalah 0,454 dan 0,474 kategori cukup dan untuk kelas eksperimen pada pretest-posttest adalah 0,568 dan 0,582 kategori cukup. Dari penelitian yang dilakukan, dapat disimpulkan bahwa LK3I pada project based learning dapat meningkatkan kemampuan kognitif, keterampilan berpikir kreatif ilmiah dan kritis ilmiah siswa.;--- The aims of this study to determine the effect of SSCW on project based learning in improving the cognitive abilities, students' scientific and scientific creative thinking skills on sound wave material. The research method used is quasi-experiment with random sampling. The research phase involves preparation, execution, and final stage. At the preparatory stage is a preliminary study, RPP preparation, and instrument validation by 4 expert validators. At the implementation stage is done in one high school in Bandung with pretest, the implementation of learning using project based learning with conventional LKS and SSCW, then given the final test (posttest). The study participants were 22 students of both control class and experimental class in one of high school in Bandung. The instrument used is the instrument of cognitive ability and scientific thinking as well as scientific critical thinking skills. After all stages of the study, the average gain test was performed. Based on the results, obtained control class and experimental class is 0,587 and 0,697 for cognitive ability. For scientific creative thinking skills, control classes and experimental classes are 0.595 and 0.685, while for critical scientific thinking skills the control classes and experimental classes are 0.600 and 0.642. The pretest-posttest score data of the control class and the experimental class were then correlated. The correlation value between cognitive ability with scientifically creative thinking ability of pretest-posttest control class 0,490 and 0,525 categories is sufficient, for experimental grade pretest-posttest correlation value 0.697 and 0.772 high category. The value of correlation between cognitive ability with scientific critical thinking criterion of control class at pretest 0,519 and posttest 0,547 sufficient category, and for experimental class on pretest 0,6222 and posttest 0,630 high category. The correlation values between scientific creative thinking skills and scientifically critical pretest-posttest control classes were 0.454 and 0.474 sufficient categories and for experimental classes on pretest-posttest were 0.568 and 0.582 sufficient categories. From the research conducted, it can be concluded that SSCW in project based learning can improve the cognitive ability, scientific creative thinking and scientific critical students

    According to an International Magazine stated that Bali is the best of the world destination country, not famous only of the splendor of Bali and its unique culture, but also its culinair. (Bali Post, Nov 2015).Bali which is said to be the island of one thousand temples: Bali is the island of GODS; Bali is a paradise; also famous with various kinds of specific and typical traditional culinairs. (Sulistiyo, 2011, 94).This Balinese traditional culinair must be surfived as a green tourism to preserve sustainable tourism, to be able to be enjoyed by young generations (Picard, 1996, 64).This decision was committed during the audiency of Bali Post Newspaper Commity to PT. Sinar Sosro, the sales office of Bali & NUSRA Region, last Friday june 10th, 2016 just a few days ago. (Bali Post, June 2016).It is expected that by the frequently of culinair festival we can preserve sustainable tourism, and finally the Balinese Traditional Culinair could be surfived as a green tourism.     PREFERENSI WISATAWAN TERHADAP DESTINASI WISATA DI KABUPATEN BANGLI

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis preferensi wisatawan terhadap destinasi wisata di Bangli. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kuantitatif dengan menggunakan kuisioner untuk mengumpulkan data. Kuisioner didistribusikan kepada 200 responden yang terdiri dari 100 wisatawan domestic dan 100 wisatawan asing. Analisis data dilakukan secara kuantitatif menggunakan Analisis Crosstab. Hasil analisis data menemukan bahwa wisatawan domestik dan mancanegara lebih suka mengunjungi dan merasakan wisata petualangan di Bangli. Di urutan kedua adalah wisata alam, kemudian disusul wisata pedesaan. Sedangkan yang paling tidak disukai adalah ekowisata. Berdasarkan analisis data, prioritas pengembangan destinasi wisata di Bangli adalah mengembangkan wisata petualangan yang menawarkan pengalaman berbeda kepada wisatawan. Selain itu, pengembangan destinasi pariwisata di Kabupaten Bangli harus mempertimbangkan empat aspek; daya tarik, amenitas, aksesibilitas, dan layanan tambahan

    Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SD Negeri 1 Sangsit Kabupaten Buleleng, Provinsi Bali. Subjek penelitian ini adalah siswa di Kelas VI A Semester II SD Negeri 1 Sangsit, sedangkan objek penelitian ini prestasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Hindu dan Budi Pekerti. Data prestasi belajar siswa dikumpulkan menggunakan instrumen berupa tes hasil belajar. Metode analisis data penelitian ini mengguakan analisis deskriptif kuantitatif. Tujuan dilakukan penelitian tindakan kelas ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah penerapan model pembelajaran kuantum berbasis quizizz dapat meningkatkan prestasi belajar Pendidikan Agama Hindu dan Budi Pekerti peserta didik. Penelitian tindakan kelas ini dilakukan dalam dua siklus melalui tahapan-tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi/pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dinyatakan berhasil bila memenuhi kriteria: (a) nilai rata-rata kelas minimal setara dengan nilai KKM=70 dan (b) ketuntasan belajar secara klasikal minimal 85%. Hasil yang diperoleh dari penelitian ini menunjukkan adanya peningkatan kemampuan peserta didik mengikuti proses pembelajaran dari rata-rata awal 63,03 meningkat menjadi 70,74 pada siklus I dan meningkat menjadi 83,93 pada siklus II dengan ketuntasan belajar awal 43% pada siklus I meningkat menjadi 74% dan pada siklus II meningkat menjadi 97%. Simpulan yang dapat diambil dari hasil tersebut adalah penerapan model pembelajaran kuantum dalam pelaksanaan proses pembelajaran mampumeningkatkan prestasi belajar siswa. This research was conducted at SD Negeri 1 Sangsit, Buleleng Regency, Bali Province. The subjects of this research are students in Class VI A Semester II SD Negeri 1 Sangsit, while the object of this research is learning achievement in Hindu Religion and Budi Pekerti. Student achievement data was collected using an instrument in the form of a learning outcome test. This research data analysis method uses quantitative descriptive analysis. The purpose of this classroom action research is to find out whether the application of the quizizz-based quantum learning model can improve students' learning achievement of Hindu Religion and Moral Education. This classroom action research was conducted in two cycles through the stages of planning, implementing, observing and reflecting. This research is declared successful if it meets the following criteria: (a) the minimum grade average is equivalent to the KKM value = 70 and (b) classical learning completeness is at least 85%. The results obtained from this study indicate an increase in the ability of students to follow the learning process from an initial average of 63.03 increasing to 70.74 in the first cycle and increasing to 83.93 in the second cycle with 43% early learning completeness in the first cycle increasing to 74% and in the second cycle increased to 97%. The conclusion that can be drawn from these results is that the application of the quantum learning model in the implementation of the learning process is able to improve student achievement

    Development of an Educational Program to Increase Cultural Awareness and Tourism Ethics in Puri Gede Kaba Kaba

    This research aims to determine the development of educational programs that can increase cultural awareness and tourism ethics in Puri Gede Kaba-Kaba. The qualitative research method focuses on collecting data through observation, interviews, and documentation of thoughts to gain an in-depth understanding of the research subject. Through the Milles and Huberman data analysis method, this research identified implied meanings and comprehensive categorization of data, which was then interpreted to reveal relationships between categories. The research results show that the educational program developed successfully integrates the concept of Eudaimonia, Kant's deontological view, and Kohlberg's theory of moral development in character education. The program effectively teaches respect for local culture, environmental responsibility, and social awareness and contributes to preserving cultural heritage and the environment. This research concludes that comprehensive character education can improve moral character and wise decision-making among tourism actors and visitors, with direct implications for increasing the positive benefits of the tourism industry for local communities. The implications of this research also include recommendations for implementing similar educational programs in other tourism locations, involving more comprehensive collaboration with educational institutions and using social media to promote and evaluate tourism culture and ethics education activities

    There are three major components within the space management that is reciprocally-related, they are: planning, utilizing, and space-controlling. Within the space management that takes place in the local sector, the aspect of planning belongs to the authority of the provincial government to uphold, meanwhile, the aspect of utilizing and space controlling are to be endorsed by the city or regency governing and administration. In the Province of Bali, the planning of space management has been arranged based upon the Local Regulation of Bali Province No 16 Year 2009. Within this regulation, there has been an overlapping conception regarding the enactment of the region of the holy places with the region of tourism. Among ten (1O) regions of holy places that have been stated by this regulation, there has been only one region of holy place that suits and consistent based upon its utility, which is being utilized as the region of holy place. On the other hand, the other nine (9) remaining region of holy places status have a/so been enacted as the region of tourism
