    The creation of glucose biosensors using immobilized glucose oxidise (GOx) and gold nanoparticles (Au-NPs) on the surface of graphite electrode are presented. Immobilized colloidal gold on graphite rod electrode surface gives the protein and other redox active molecules more freedom in orientation, thus facilitating the nondirect electron transfer through the conducting tunnels not only of Au-NPs, but of enzymes too. It is evaluated the sensitivity of determination of glucose (Glu), using amperometric method, are investigated the stability of modified working electrodes when N methylphenazonium methyl sulfate (PMS) was used as an artificial mediator of electron transfer.Publikacijoje pateikta sukurta ir ištirta savaime besiorganizuojanti analizinė sistema, paremta fermento gliukozės oksidazės sąveika su gliukoze. Paruoštas amperometrinis analizės metodas, pritaikytas anglies elektrodo paviršiaus modifikavimu, t.y. ištirta, kad acetatiniame buferiniame tirpale didžiausiu jautrumu pasižymi anglies elektrodas, kurio sluoksnį sudaro aukso nanodalelės ir gliukozės oksidazė imobilizuotos glutaro aldehido garais. Įvertintas elektrodų elektrokatalizinių savybių kitimas laike: stabilesne laikoma GOx padengta sistema

    Bakalaura darba tēma ir “Uzņēmuma "airBaltic" interneta mārketinga aktivitātes "Millennial" paaudzes mērķauditorijā”. Darba mērķis ir pamatojoties uz interneta mārketinga teorijas atziņām un ”Millennial” paaudzes patērētāju aptaujas rezultātiem, izpētīt uzņēmuma “airBaltic” interneta mārketinga aktivitātes “Millennial” paaudzes mērķauditorijā un sniegt priekšlikums tā pilnveidošanai. Darba izstrādē tika veikta literatūras analīze, interneta lietotāju anketēšana, kā arī statistisko datu analīze. Pirmajā nodaļā tiek aplūkots, kas ir interneta mārketings, kādas ir interneta mārketinga aktivitātes, kā arī kādas interneta mārketinga aktivitātes pielietot tieši priekš “Millennial” paaudzes. Otrajā nodaļā tika aplūkotas un analizētas uzņēmuma “airBaltic” interneta mārketinga aktivitātes. Trešā nodaļa ir veltīta pētījumam: “Millennial” paaudzes patērētāju informētība un attieksme pret uzņēmuma “airBaltic” interneta mārketinga aktivitātēm. Darba nobeigumā ir izteikti secinājumi un izvirzīti priekšlikumi. Darba apjoms ir 73 lapas, tajā ir iekļauti 11 attēli un 1 pielikums. The aim of the thesis is to explore the internet marketing activities of the company “airBaltic” in the target audience of “Millennial” generation based on the findings of internet marketing theory and the results of the Millennial generation consumer survey and to make a proposal for its improvement. In work development uses analyses of literature, questionnaire of internet users and the processing of statistical data. The first chapter looks at what is internet marketing, what kind of internet marketing strategies are, and how to apply those internet marketing strategies directly to the “Millennial” generation. In the second section, the internet marketing activities of airBaltic were looked at and analyzed. The third chapter is devoted to the study of “Millennial” generation of consumer awareness and attitude towards the “airBaltic” internet marketing activities. Conclusions and suggestions have been made at the end of the work. The thesis consists of 73 pages, contains 11 pictures and 1 annex.     Optical spectroscopy and electronic structure of the face-centered icosahedral quasicrystals Zn-Mg-R (R=Y, Ho, Er)

    Results of optical spectroscopy studies of the face-centered icosahedral (fci) single-grain Zn-Mg-Y, Zn-Mg-Ho, and Zn-Mg-Er quasicrystals (QCs) are presented. The dielectric function of the QCs was measured in the 0.01–6 eV spectral range by IR-UV spectroscopic ellipsometry and far infrared reflection spectroscopy techniques. A theoretical scheme of optical conductivity calculations is extended to account for the Fermi level positions within and below a pseudogap. The model of the QC electron energy spectrum, based on a band structure hypothesis, is suggested, which treats the electronic subsystem as a nearly free electron gas affected by intersections of the Fermi surface with several families of Bragg planes. The experimental optical spectra are reproduced in detail by theoretical calculations carried out within the framework of the model. The parameters of the electron energy spectrum deduced from an analysis of optical data are close to those previously determined in an analysis of fci Zn-Mg-R valence band photoemission spectra.Funding Agencies|Research Council of Lithuania|MIP-081/2012|</p

    Optical Response of fci-ZnMgHo Quasicrystal

    The results of an optical spectroscopy study of the icosahedral fci-ZnMgHo quasicrystal are presented. The dielectric function of the quasicrystal was measured by the spectroscopic ellipsometry technique in the spectral range of 0.1-5.0 eV. The analysis of the dielectric function shows that an optical response of fci-ZnMgHo is a superposition of the free-electron Drude-type contribution and that of the interband transitions across the fci-ZnMgHo pseudogap

    Photoemission and Optical Spectroscopy of i-ZnMgEr Quasicrystal

    The results of photoemission and optical studies of icosahedral single-grain ZnMgEr quasicrystals are presented. Synchrotron radiation photoemission measurements were performed on in situ cleaved samples at 1010\text{}^{-10} mbar pressure and low, 140-150 K temperature. The valence band photoemission spectra measured reveal a simple metal-type valence band of icosahedral ZnMgEr with a distinct Fermi edge cut-off and with a sharp pseudogap feature. The photoemission spectra of shallow Mg 2p and Zn 3d core levels indicate a coordination shift of Mg 2p spin-orbit doublet and an oscillating dependence of Zn 3d photoemission line components on the photon energy within the hν=20-160 eV range investigated. The optical response of icosahedral ZnMgEr, a dispersion of the dielectric function, was measured by the spectroscopic ellipsometry technique in the 0.5-5.0 eV spectral range. The optical spectra of the quasicrystal indicate the Drude-type optical response superimposed with a peak of interband optical transitions. The interband optical transitions can be modelled with the pseudogap parameters which agree with those deduced in an analysis of the photoemission valence band spectra
