For an absolutely continuous operator valued measure in weak sense, we give a necessary and sufficient condition to have a density in strong sense. This result is used to obtain an operator valued version of the F. and M. Riesz theorem. Propuesta técnica para el diseño de mecha de lampazo “Aura-poliéster” que reemplace a la actual utilizada en la empresa “CLEAN S.A” en el periodo comprendido de Agosto a Diciembre 2015

CLEAN, S.A. esta categorizada como una gran empresa, ubicada en el extremo oeste del distrito 2 de la ciudad de Managua, exactamente en Loma verde de donde fue el Restaurante Múnich 1 cuadra al norte, 3 cuadras y media al oeste, la cual tiene como giro la prestación de servicios terciarios profesionales en materia de limpieza (Incluye mano de obra, materiales y Además de elaborar productos químicos para realizar la limpieza profesional). Por tal razón, una de las herramientas más importantes de trabajo es el soporte y la mecha de lampazo a base de algodón, utilizada en la mayoría de los servicios que prestan, aunque actualmente el ciclo de vida de cada mecha es muy corto, lo cual genera altos costos de operación al brindar el servicio, además presenta problemas ergonómicos con respecto a la actividad laboral, lo cual hace que los operarios se quejen con mucha frecuencia. Para dar solución a la problemática antes planteada, lo primero que se realizó fue la obtención de información a través del sistema de información gerencial, además se realizaron entrevistas y observaciones directas, para lo cual se requirió de la valiosa colaboración y conocimientos de los directivos de la empresa y operarios (de las mechas), también se consultaron bibliografías, páginas web, entre otros, demás se utilizaron herramientas como: lluvia de ideas, diagrama de Ishikawa, Ms Excel, Visio, entre otros. Luego de haber aplicado la metodología y las herramientas utilizadas para brindar solución al problema planteado anteriormente, se obtuvieron los siguientes resultados: se logró demostrar las condiciones ergonómicas y los altos costos de operación en el uso de la mecha, se identificaron las necesidades de trabajo y ergonomía de los operarios que se deben mejorar y se propuso el diseño prototípico de una mecha de lampazo que mejore la calidad de servicio, superando así a la mecha actual que es a base de algodón, por último se evaluó el método de alternativa de producción a nivel semi-industrial que hará más eficiente el proceso de elaboración de la mech

Satisfacción asociada a la inmunoterapia alérgeno específica en pacientes de 12 a 60 años con rinitis alérgica y asma atendidos en la Unidad de Alergia del Hospital Nacional San Juan de Dios de San Miguel en el periodo comprendido desde enero 2017 a enero del 2019

RESUMEN: El presente trabajo de investigación pretende dar a conocer los beneficios en relación a la calidad de vida de los pacientes que son sometidos a dicho tratamiento, la rinitis alérgica y el asma son de las principales enfermedades crónicas tanto en niños como en adultos y provoca enormes costos anuales a nivel mundial, son de las principales causas de ausentismo laboral y escolar y afectan en gran medida la calidad de vida, ambas desencadenadas por una serie de factores tanto ambientales como genéticos. OBJETIVOS. Determinar la influencia de la inmunoterapia alérgeno específica en los síntomas de pacientes con alergias respiratorias del Hospital Nacional San Juan de Dios de San Miguel en el periodo comprendido desde enero 2017 a enero del 2019. METODOLOGÍA. La investigación se realiza tomando en cuenta métodos de análisis e interpretación de resultados obtenidos. El método que se utiliza es el método descriptivo con enfoque cualitativo mediante el cual se describen y analizan los resultados que se obtengan de la toma de datos de la percepción de los pacientes sobre la inmunoterapia que acuden a la Unidad de alergias, así como el tiempo de espera para el resultado. CONCLUSIÓN. Se establece que este grado de satisfacción es una percepción subjetiva de los pacientes en relación a su calidad de vida y persistencia de los síntomas una vez iniciado dicho tratamiento. Además, la percepción subjetiva del grado de satisfacción general hacia la inmunoterapia con alérgenos es evidentemente favorable y placentera para todos los pacientes contemplados en este trabajo de investigación. ABSTRACT: This research work aims to show the benefits in relation to the quality of life of patients who are subjected to said treatment, allergic rhinitis and asthma are the main chronic diseases in both children and adults and causes enormous costs annual worldwide, are one of the main causes of absenteeism from work and school and greatly affect quality of life, both triggered by a series of environmental and genetic factors. OBJECTIVES. To determine the influence of specific allergen immunotherapy on the symptoms of patients with respiratory allergies at the San Juan de Dios National Hospital in San Miguel in the period from January 2017 to January 2019. METHODOLOGY. The research is carried out taking into account methods of analysis and interpretation of the results obtained. The method used is the descriptive method with a qualitative approach by means of which the results obtained from the data collection of the perception of patients about immunotherapy who attend the Allergy Unit are described and analyzed, as well as the time waiting for the result. CONCLUSION. It is established that this degree of satisfaction is a subjective perception of patients in relation to their quality of life and persistence of symptoms once said treatment has been started. Furthermore, the subjective perception of the degree of general satisfaction with allergen immunotherapy is clearly favorable and pleasant for all the patients considered in this research work

La lectura para el desarrollo del aprendizaje y del pensamiento crítico con la influencia mediadora del docente

La siguiente investigación documental aborda una reflexión sobre el valor de la lectura para el desarrollo del aprendizaje y del pensamiento crítico, destacando la influencia mediadora del docente en la adquisición de esta competencia comunicativa por parte de los estudiantes. Se muestra que la lectura es un instrumento de aprendizaje por excelencia y desarrolla el pensamiento crítico, pero en la medida en que es enseñada de forma significativa, cuando mediante ella, se potencia el análisis y la reflexión sobre el propio conocimiento para luego contrastarlo, criticarlo y transformarlo; es decir, adquirir consciencia de lo que se lee con el interés de llegar a la comprensión y a la construcción de nuevos conocimientos. Esta concepción rescata el valor epistémico de la lectura e implica la actuación del docente como agente mediador en su aprendizaje, puesto que es quien debe ayudar a los estudiantes en la activación de los procesos de pensamiento que se requieren para lograr la comprensión; así mismo debe tener en cuenta la complejidad que conlleva leer para pensar, aprender y comprender, por lo cual su aprendizaje demanda mucha práctica, dedicación y tiempo prolongado

The Informed Consent in Allergology from a Scientific, Technological and Social Perspective

This paper reviews the application of the informed consent within the specialty of allergology in procedures (skin tests), therapeutic interventions (immunotherapy) and research (clinical trials) from a scientific, technological and social perspective, based on the advances achieved in Cuba in recent years to obtain better allergenic extracts for testing, high-quality vaccines and new drugs to benefit the allergic patient. It is demonstrated that when applying the informed consent in this specialty, the humanistic social precepts are respected by directing health actions to respect the integrity of the patients against possible risks, offering the option to use immunotherapy and respecting their autonomy in research. It benefits the patients by improving their lifestyles to control the allergic disease, improve their health and quality of life. Furthermore, it promotes social justice by making available these services to the entire population

Generation and efficacy assessment of a chimeric antigen E2-CD154 as a marker Classical Swine Fever Virus subunit vaccine produced in HEK 293 and CHO K1 mammalian cells

The E2 glycoprotein is the major antigen that induces neutralizing and protective antibodies in CSFV infected pigs, thus a marker vaccine based on this antigen appears to be the most promising alternative to induce a protective immune response against CSFV. However, the structural characteristics of this protein state the necessity to produce glycoprotein E2 in more complex expression systems such as mammalian cells. In this study, we use a lentivirus-based gene delivery system to establish a stable recombinant HEK 293 and CHO K1 cell line for the expression of E2 fused to porcine CD154 as immunostimulatory molecule. In a first experiment, E2his and E2-CD154 were compared in an immunization trial. The average antibody titers in E2his immunized pigs was in the range of 30-40% of blocking and the average antibody titers for E2-CD154 are above 40% at day 14, meaning that the chimeric antigen is able to raise antibodies at positive levels in a shorter time. Additionally, the blocking rate of E2his vaccinated group in ELISA ranged between 66-88% and in the E2-CD154- vaccinated groups ranged between 86-92%, one week after booster immunization. The NPLA antibody titers also increased greatly. Later on, the protective capacity of purified E2-CD154 glycoprotein was demonstrated in a challenge experiment in pigs using a biphasic immunization schedule with 25 and 50 μg. The immunized animals developed neutralizing antibodies that were protective when the animals were faced to a challenge with 105 LD50 of ‘‘Margarita’’ CSFV highly pathogenic strain. No clinical signs of the disease were detected in the vaccinated pigs. Unvaccinated pigs in the control group exhibited symptoms of CSF at 3–4 days after challenge and were euthanized from 7–9 days when the pigs became moribund. These results indicate that E2-CD154 produced in recombinant HEK 293 and CHOK1cell line is a high quality candidate for the development of a safe and effective CSFV subunit vaccine. In the next steps, pilot and production scale, E2-CD154 expression levels should be increased in 10 to 50 fold, arriving to a very attractive productive platform for an implementation of a commercial subunit vaccine against CSF
