Simple transitive 2-representations of 2-categories associated to self-injective cores
For a finite-dimensional associative algebra , we introduce the notion of
a self-injective core of . Self-injective cores of give rise to
2-subcategories of the 2-category of projective functors over . We classify
the simple transitive 2-representations of a wide class of such
2-subcategories. We also construct a family of non-cell simple transitive
2-representations of a certain 2-semicategory of projective functors. The
existence of such 2-representations for a closely related 2-category was
conjectured by Jakob Zimmermann.Comment: 38 page
Yuripopoverus africanus gen.et sp.n.from East African copal (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Ricaniidae)
A new genus and species of the planthopper family Ricaniidae Yuripopoverus africanus gen. et sp. n. is described and illustrated on the basis of an inclusion in East African copal

Two new genera of flatid planthoppers from Socotra island (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Flatidae)
Two new monotypic genera of flatid planthoppers (Hemiptera: Fulgoromorpha: Flatidae) are described from Socotra island (Yemen): Dixamflata gen. nov. for D. petri sp. nov. and Kesaflata gen. nov. for K. lubosi sp. nov. Habitus, male and female external and internal genital structures of the new species are illustrated and compared to similar taxa. Both new genera share an “issid-like” habitus which evolved convergently in many unrelated planthopper groups distributed in arid and semi-arid zones of the world. They might be closely related to the western Palaearctic genera Cyphopterum Melichar, 1905 and Riodeorolix Lindberg, 1956. As both new species are sub-brachypterous and were collected in plant communities specifi c to Socotra, they may represent endemics of the island

Saving Private Ryan. War and (vs) memory
The analysis is concerned with the relations between representation of war in American cinema and its cultural memory based on Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan (USA 1998). Based on concepts such as cultural memory, postmemory, representation and realism, multiple aspects of a film work were analyzed: the plot, image, sound, and John Williams' musical score. Hollywood war films through referencing genre traditions, patriotic musical style and iconic imagery are capable of influencing the ways society remembers and imagines war. In case of Saving Private Ryan filming techniques used for the combat scenes play a particular role. Influenced by the original World War II combat documentaries the filmmakers achieved the viewer's full immersion in depicted combat, as opposed to the older war cinema, where technological means allowed the camera to only observe the events.
