Received: March 5th, 2022 ; Accepted: June 13th, 2022 ; Published: July 5th, 2022 ; Correspondence: [email protected] data of the technological assessment of the suitability of five new winter apple cultivars of VNIISPK breeding (‘Aleksandr Boyko’, ‘Blagodat’, ‘Vavilovskoye, Ivanovskoye’, ‘Patriot’ and ‘Prazdnichnoye’) for the production of raw materials for juice industry are presented. The main technological indicators characterizing the suitability of the cultivar for juice production were studied: the firmness of the pulp, the yield of juice, the content of soluble solids, sugars, titratable acids and catechins in comparison with the standard cultivar ‘Antonovka’. It was found that all of them were distinguished by a higher content of soluble solids and sugars in the juice than in the standard cultivar, and a lower content of titrated acids, as well as higher tasting ratings. ‘Aleksandr Boyko’ surpassed all studied cultivars in terms of such indicators as juice yield, the content of soluble solids, sugars and catechins in it, besides it was distinguished by low acidity. All studied cultivars, especially ‘Alexandr Boyko’, are promising as raw materials for the juice industry

On the Question of Decomposition of Multi-Timescale Systems Dynamic Model

    Get PDF
The problem of decomposition of a multi-timescale systems dynamic model is considered in this paper. The specific feature of these systems is the simultaneous presence of processes with essentially different speeds of free components of motions. The description model is represented by a singularly perturbed system of differential equations. The conditions are examined that allow reduction of the order of the system model: the checking of these conditions causes the greatest difficulty in practice. Research results are given as an iterative procedure requiring no special knowledge of singularly perturbed systems of differential equations

Reactions of 2-cyano-6-(trifluoromethyl)-4-pyrone, 2-cyano-4-pyrone, and 2-cyano-6-methyl-4-pyrone with aliphatic and aromatic amines in ethanol at -20 C for 2-21 days gave 5-amino-3-oxopent-4-enamides in 28-78% yields, which were cyclized with DMF-DMA in toluene under ambient conditions to afford 4-pyridone-3-carboxamides in 31-70% yields. © 2013 Elsevier Ltd. THE ASSESSMENT OF CLIMATE CHANGE AND WATERSHED EFFECT ON THE HETEROTROPHIC METABOLISM IN THE LAKE ONEGO ECOSYSTEM

    Get PDF
Lake Onego, as one of the largest water bodies in a humid zone, is the recipient of terrestrial carbon and plays an important role in the global balance of this element. Due to heterotrophic metabolism in the Lake Onego ecosystem, substantial emissions of carbon dioxide from this lake into the atmosphere can be assumed. However, the extent of this phenomenon is still poorly known. As a climate change has led to an increase in water and organic matter flow into the northern water bodies, the carbon balance study of aquatic ecosystems is of particular relevance. The elements of the water balance for the Lake Onego catchment area in the current climate conditions are assessed. Based on satellite images the model of Lake Onego watershed terrestrial ecosystems is used to simulate the flow of organic matter into the lake with different types of vegetation and topography consideration. The assessment of the benthic communities habitat is carried out taking into account the accumulation of organic matter in various parts of Lake Onego

Study of the characteristics of bitumen with adhesive additive using method of X-ray analysis

© SGEM 2017. All Rights Reserved. The most appropriate way to increase grip of bitumen with mineral materials is the use of adhesive additives which are slowing down the process of aging of bitumen due to oxidation and increasing durability of pavement. Adhesive properties of bitumen are important characteristics, as they are having a huge impact on operational properties of composite materials, such as asphalt mixtures. To understand the chemical behavior of the binder components interaction and improve adhesion to mineral components of asphalt concrete mixtures, it is important to study the nature of interaction of road bitumen adhesion with additives. Experimental data are presented in this article shows difference of the diffraction maximums of bitumen samples after mixing with adhesive additive using radiographic method of analysis. The results showed that all samples of modified binders, except bitumen modified with 1% of the mass. additive (which nevertheless shows decline of intensity), missing diffraction maximum, which is specific to additive «Adgezolin» (2θ = 19.6°). Interplanar spaces are also reduced. This allows for the conclusion that during mixing additive “Adgezolin” with the bitumen we have not just physical adsorption, but also a chemical interaction, leading to changing the structure of the binder

Material composition of the Upper Jurassic horizon of Tevlinsko-Russkinsky field (West Siberian oil and gas province)

© SGEM2016.The paper emphasizes the results of lithological and mineralogical analysis of the Upper Jurassic horizon structure within Tevlinsko-Russkinsky field (Western Siberia). The factors are identified that control potential oil bearing of the horizon. We studied lithological and facies evolution of the Upper Jurassic horizon within the field. Heterogeneity of individual sections is revealed. They differ in composition and structure of sandstone clastic and cement mass. The performed complex of studies can attribute reservoirs of the Upper Jurassic horizon of Tevlinsko-Russkinsky field to cluster-granular reservoirs, with mixed type of pore space. It has been established that the Jurassic reservoir rocks of the field belong to nanoporous type by the size of pores and pore channels. The structure of finely dispersed component of the cement mass and structure of the void and pore space are the determining factors for low reservoir properties of rocks. These factors are leading, defining the reservoir properties of rocks. The data obtained allow predicting the formation reaction to the applied methods of enhanced oil recovery in the development process

PECULIARITIES OF TERRITORIAL DISTRIBUTION OF TICK-BORNE ENCEPHALITIS MORBIDITY WITHIN IRKUTSK RESIDENTS

Irkutsk residents are infected, with, tick-borne encephalitis (TBE) mainly in Pribaykalie (Irkutsk region and Buryat Republic). TBE foci are rather various on this territory. Differences in some parameters of morbidity structure at the infection in different areas of this territory are reviewed, in this article

The Current State of Natural Foci of Tick-Borne Encephalitis near Irkutsk City

    Get PDF
Among main factors that influence intensity of tick-borne encephalitis foci one can distinguish the numbers of core vector (here, taiga tick Ixodes persulcatus) and the percentage of infected ticks. This paper shows the results of five-year monitoring of the tick-borne encephalitis focus, which is situated near Irkutsk city. Detected are the variations in numbers and infestation of the core vector of tick-borne encephalitis, both spatial and temporal. Cause-effect connection between these factors and human TBE morbidity is not found. However, morbidity rates of the Irkutsk population, observed on the annual basis, bear evidence of high activity and intensity of the foci. In this regard, a number of preventive measures is put forward, but further observations concerning all the parameters that influence foci activity are required
