    PENGEMBANGAN BAHAN AJAR MENYUNTING TEKS DENGAN MODEL BERPIKIR INDUKTIF UNTUK SISWA SMA

    Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh kebutuhan siswa terhadap bahan ajar menyunting teks. Informasi ini diperoleh berdasarkan hasil wawancara dengan guru di tiga sekolah menengah, analisis kebutuhan dasar siswa terhadap bahan ajar menyunting , dan observasi bahan ajar menyunting teks. Penelitian yang dilakukan bertujuan mengembangkan bahan ajar menyunting teks. Pengembangan materi dalam bahan ajar disesuaikan dengan tahapan berpikir induktif, yaitu pembentukan konsep, pengumpulan data,dan pengaplikasiani prinsip. Metode penelitian yang digunakan, yaitu penelitian dan pengembangkan (Resesarch and Development) sesuai teori Sugiyono. Penelitian ini terdiri atas sepuluh tahapan, yaitu menemukan potensi dan masalah yang akan diteliti, mengumpulkan data dan informasi, desain produk, validasi desain, revisi desain, uji coba produk, revisi produk, ujia coba pemakaian, revisi produk, dan produksi/cetak massal. Instrumen penelitian menggunakan pedoman wawancara, angket penilaian/validasi oleh ahli, dan angket respons siswa terhadap bahan ajar menyunting teks. Validasi bahan ajar dilakukan oleh 3 validator. Setelah mengkalkulasi penilaian dari para validator, diperoleh rata-rata skor 80,7 dengan kriteria layak. Dalam uji coba terbatas, diperoleh rata-rata skor 75,6 %. Dalam uji luas, diperoleh rata-rata skor 86,1 % pada uji luas pertama dan 85, 3 % pada uji luas kedua. Berdasarkan hasil tersebut, disimpulkan bahwa bahan ajar yang dikembangkan telah memenuhi kriteria bahan ajar yang baik digunakan dan memenuhi standar kelayakan pada komponen kegrafikan, komponen isi/materi, komponen kebahasaan, komponen penyajian, dan komponen kebermanfaatan dalam pembelajaran. ;---This research is based on the students' needs of editing text teaching material. This information obtained by interviewing teachers in schools, giving questionnaires for analyzing student needs, and observating student’s text book. This study aims to develop teaching materials of editing text by using inductive thinking model. This research and development utilizes the theory of Sugiyono. The research consist of ten steps, namely research and information collecting, planning, develop preliminary form of product, preliminary field testing, main product revision, main field testing, operational product revision, operational field testing, final product revision, dissemination and implementation. The instrument in this research are interviewing guidelines, questionnaires for validators, and student responses’ questionnaires to the teaching materials of editing text. Validation of teaching materials was carried out by 3 expert. After accumulating the skors from the validators, an average score of 80,7 was obtained with a feasible criteria. In preliminary field testing, an average score of 75.6 % was obtained. In the main field testing, an average score of 86,1 % was obtained in the first main field testing and 85,3 % in the second main field testing. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the development of teaching material is effective as teaching materials using and fulfilled the standard on graphics component, content/material component, language component, display component, and usefulness component in learning

    Development Of Literary Text Teaching Materials Based On Local Wisdom Culture Of North Sumatra

    This study aimed to develop teaching materials for literary texts based on local wisdom culture of North Sumatera at Grade VII semester 2 and the digitalization of the learning. The literary teaching materials developed were folk poetry, fable, and fictional texts. This study used the Research & Development method referring to the 4-D model developed by Thigaranjan et al.  This model consists of four development steps such as define, design, develop, and the disseminate. The data in this study was analysed by using descriptive qualitative analysis.  The validation on the teaching materials developed was carried out by 3 experts, namely material expert, language expert, and media experts. Furthermore, the teaching materials developed was tested on preliminary field and main field testing for Junior High Schools (SMP) relevant with the model of research method used. The study results showed that the teaching materials got excellent qualification in content validation (91.06%), excellent qualification in language validation (90%), excellent qualification on media expert validation (89.76%), excellent qualification on learning practitioner validation (95%), and excellent qualification on student response trials (88.98%). Thus, from the results of the research conducted, it can be concluded that the teaching material developed is "valid" which means that it is suitable to use as Indonesian literary texts teaching material based on local wisdom of North Sumatera at grade VII Semester 2

    This research was carried out based on the curiosity of researchers towards Stalistic Analysis in a short story by Eka Kurniawan entitled "Kitchen Curse". The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative method. The purpose of this study is to find out which language styles are contained in the short story "Kitchen Curse" by Eka Kurniawan. The research technique that researchers use is literature study. Literature study is done by reading various library materials that are closely related to the problem to be studied. Through a stylistic approach, the author examines some of the phenomena mentioned above, especially those related to human life events. This study used qualitative descriptive, namely a study which obtains data by providing an explanation or description of the situation or condition under study in the form of a description. The data in this study were in the form of utterances stated in the video Eksklusif: Ganjar Pranowo dan Piala Dunia” in Mata Najwa. Data were collected by observing and note-taking. Having collected and classified according to the type of presupposition, the data were analyzed using presupposition theory.     Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menggambarkan kohesi dan koherensi dalam cerpen "Terbang" Karya Ayu Utami. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan adalah teknik baca dan teknik catat. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah cerpen “Terbang” karya Ayu Utami. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode agih. Data hasil analisis disajikan dengan kata-kata biasa, kata-kata yang jika dibaca dengan serta merta dapat langsung dipahami. Berdasarkan hasil analisis, ditemukan 16 data kohesi dan 29 data koherensi pada cerpen "Terbang" karya Ayu Utami. Data kohesi tersebut terdiri atas 11 kohesi gramatikal dan 5 kohesi leksikal, sedangkan data koherensi terdiri atas 28 koherensi berpenanda dan 1 kohesi tidak berpenanda

    Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan representasi gender dan budaya pada cerpen yang berjudul “Maukah Kau Menghapus Bekas Bibirnya di Bibirku dengan Bibirmu?” karya Hamsad Rangkuti. Dalam penelitian ini, aspek gender dan budaya dianalisis menggunakan analisis wacana kritis model Ruth Wodak dan Sarah Mills. Metode yang digunakan adalah metode deskriftif kualitatif yaitu cara pemecahan masalah yang diselidiki dengan menggambarkan atau melukiskan keadaan subjek atau objek penelitian. Berdasarkan data yang terkumpul, ditemukan empat representasi gender dan budaya pada cerpen “Maukah Kau Menghapus Bekas Bibirnya di Bibirku dengan Bibirmu?” Hasil penelitian ini juga menunjukkan bahwa representasi gender dan budaya yang terdapat dalam cerpen tersebut masih relevan dengan kehidupan di masa kini

    This research aims to analyse the image of women in the short story entitled “Rabiah” by Hasan Al Banna. This research used descriptive qualitative method. The subject of this research is short story entitled “Rabiah” by Hasan Al Banna. The data of this research are words, phrases, or sentences that contain information about the image of women in the short story entitled “Rabiah” by Hasan Al Banna. The data were collected by reading and note-taking techniques. The data obtained from this study were analysed using content analysis. Based on the analysis result, it was found that a woman in the short story entitled “Rabiah” by Hasan Al Banna described as a brave, intelligent, and kind woman. A brave woman was described through the figure of Rabiah who has bravery to work in the overseas without her family. An intelligent woman was described through the figure of Rabiah who showed her ability to think perfectly. A kind woman was described through the figure of Rabiah who respected her parents by listening their advice

    This Research and Development (R&D) study addresses the issue of grammar proficiency among English Education students at Universitas Negeri Medan. The solution proposed is the development of a learning media in the form of a web-based English Grammar forum. The development involved the application of the Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation (ADDIE) model. This systematic framework led to the development of an innovative online discussion forum. In this forum, students take on the role of contributors, where they educate their peers on English grammar concepts, aligning with the "Learning by Teaching" method. In the evaluation stage, contributors' experiences were assessed, revealing that rigorous questions and an active community fostered an engaging and motivating learning environment. Users reported improved language skills and a deeper grasp of grammar concepts. The development of an English Grammar Online Discussion Forum, following the ADDIE model, showcases its potential as a learning media that is able to improve the grammar learning experience of the students
