Acceptance of Automated Vehicles: Case Study of Drive2theFuture Project

The transport sector has increased awareness regarding automated vehicles and their integration to reduce impacts by increasing efficiency. This paper aims to identify correlation parameters of acceptance by a pre-acceptance analysis questionnaire done by the Drive2theFuture project. To reach this, an acceptance interested questionnaire has considered determining the acceptance correlated parameters with also regression analysis and cross-cutting comparisons. The result of the study indicates a well-balanced connection with the users’ characteristics, in terms of knowledge, perception, education level, income, and privacy concerns has a positive increase of acceptance with slight significance. Trends of dairy breeding development in Ukraine

Значення молочної галузі в Україні важко переоцінити, тому актуальним питанням є дослідження сучасного стану та перспектив розвитку в Україні. Визначено, що зміни у розвитку молочного скотарства негативно впливають на соціально-економічний розвиток країни та є складовою продовольчої безпеки. Серед основних факторів скорочення виробництва молочної продукції виділено: зниження купівельної спроможності українців, ускладнення виходу продукції на світові ринки в зв’язку із незадовільними показниками якості, відсутність діючої державної підтримки виробників молока, диспаритет цін у сільському господарстві, руйнування системи матеріально-технічного забезпечення. Визначені регіони, що мають сприятливі природно-кліматичні умови для концентрації даного виробництва. Проведено аналіз структурного виробництва молока в Україні та виявлено сильні й слабкі регіони за рівнем молочної продуктивності у господарствах населення. Проаналізовано забезпеченість молоком населення країни. Проведено розрахунок ефективності виробництва молока та виявлено стримуючі фактори розвитку молочного скотарства, а саме: низький рівень закупівельних цін; труднощі із капітальним будівництвом та модернізацією ферм і приміщень через невигідність кредитної політики фінансових установ для аграріїв; низький рівень інтеграції виробництва та переробки молочної продукції; невисока концентрація поголів’я корів у підприємствах; використання традиційних застарілих технологій у виробництві сировини та інші. Визначено необхідність подальшого розвитку галузі, резервами якого може бути система заходів щодо підвищення молочної продуктивності корів та зниження собівартості виробництва молока. Комплекс заходів на перспективу має включати інноваційні рішення щодо розвитку галузі, в основі якого є біотехнології, прогресивні системи годівлі тварин, сучасне техніко-технологічне забезпечення, використання ІТ-технологій, селекційно-племінна робота та енерго- і ресурсозбереження.The importance of the dairy industry in Ukraine is difficult to overestimate, therefore the investigation of the current state and prospects of development in Ukraine is very important. It is determined that changes in the diary breeding development have negative impact on the socio-economic development of the country and are the components of food security. Among the main factors of the dairy production decline are the following: decrease in Ukrainians purchasing power, difficulties of the world markets entry caused by poor quality indicators, lack of active state support for dairy producers, price disparity in agriculture, destruction of the material support system. The regions having favorable natural and climatic conditions for the given production concentration are identified. Analysis of structural milk production in Ukraine is carried out and strong and weak regions by the level of milk productivity in farms business are determined. The population milk supply in the country is analyzed. The milk production efficiency is calculated and motivating factors for dairy breeding development such as: low purchase prices; difficulties with capital construction and modernization of farms and premises due to the unfavorable credit policy of financial institutions for farmers; low level of dairy production and processing integration; understocking; the use of traditional obsolete technologies in the of raw materials production and others are identified. The importance of further industry development, which reserves can serve as the system of measures for increasing the cows milk producing ability and reducing the milk production cost of milk production is determined. The set of measures for future should include innovative solutions for the industry development based on biotechnology, advanced animal feeding systems, modern technical and technological support, use of IT technologies, breeding programs and energy and resource saving technologies

Сучасний стан розвитку мікро та малого агробізнесу в Україні

Purpose. The purpose of the article is to reveal the peculiarities of functioning of micro and small agribusinesses in Ukraine, to identify the negative factors influencing the result of such enterprises and to formulate directions for the development of small agribusiness. Methodology / approach. The methodological basis of the research is a systematic approach to the study of economic phenomena. Among the special methods, the abstract-logical method was used to highlight the peculiarities of functioning of small enterprises of Ukraine and to formulate conclusions and recommendations; economic-and-statistical, in identifying trends and patterns of development of micro and small enterprises; method of comparison, in the study of the dynamics of individual indicators and graphical, in the analysis and presentation of statistical data. Results. The problems of the current state and dynamics of development of micro and small agricultural enterprises are considered. The results of the analysis of functioning of such enterprises and their importance in agribusiness of Ukraine are presented. The negative factors influencing the result of small business activity and the need for state support are highlighted. The necessity of innovative development of micro and small agribusiness is substantiated. The basic directions of formation and development of small agribusiness for the future are investigated. Originality / scientific novelty. Author’s interpretation of the term «agribusiness» is provided; the peculiarities of the functioning of micro and small enterprises in Ukraine, determination of their main components received further study; the place of such enterprises in the modern agribusiness is determined and the main directions of development are formed. Practical value / implications. The concrete measures on directions of small agribusiness development in Ukraine are offered.
