    Efeito da densidade de população sobre os teores de ácido ascórbico e carboidratos solúveis de berinjela (Solanum melongena)

    Eggplant (Solatium melongena) samples from 11.111 to 31.746 plants/ha densities were analysed in relation dry weight, ascorbic acid, total soluble carbohydrates, sucrose, glucose and fructose contents. Dry weight was affected statistically by plants density, the fruits from higher plant density showed highest level of dry meight. Other constituents were not affected by plant density. Ascorbic acid content varied from 5.9 to 10.6 mg/100 g on fresh weight basis. Soluble carbohydrate content, in g/100 g dry weight basis, were: sucrose (0.13-0.22), glucose (0.91-1.37), total (2.12-3.08) and fructose (0.83-1.11).Amostras de berinjela (Solanum melongena) de densidades de 11.111 a 31.746 plantas/ha foram analisadas quanto aos teores de matéria seca, ácido ascórbico, carboidratos solúveis totais, sacarose, glucose e frutose. Com exceção da matéria seca, não foram detectadas diferenças significativas entre os teores dos constituintes analisados em função das diversas densidades de plantas. Os frutos obtidos de maiores densidades de plantas apresentaram maior teor de matéria seca. O teor de ácido ascórbico variou de 5,9 a 10,6 mg/100 g peso fresco. Os teores de carboidratos solúveis, expressos cm g/100 g peso fresco, foram os seguintes: sacarose, (0,13-0,22), glucose (0,91-1,37) e frutose (0,83-1,11)

    Total soluble carbohydrates, glucose, fructose, sucrose and ascorbic acid contents were determined in cauliflower (Brassica oleracea CV. botrytis) samples. The effect of plants densities was studied in this paper. Statistically differences were not observed amoung treatments, although the samples from 20633 plants/ha showed higher level of ascorbic acid. Dry weight varied from 8.24 to 10.13% and ascorbic acid contents varied from 93.1 to 113.5 mg/100 g fresh weight basis. Soluble carbohydrates, in g/100 g fresh weight basis, were: total (3.17-4.54), sucrose (0.26-0.66), glucose (0.92-1.50) and fructose (0.91-1.45).Os teores de carboidratos solúveis, glucose, frutose, sacarose e ácido ascórbico foram determinados em amostras de couve-flor (Brassica oleracea var. botrytis), obtidas de tratamentos apresentando diversas densidades de plantais. O efeito do espaçamento não foi significativo para os dviersos constituintes analisados, embora o tratamento com 20.833 plantas/ha apresentasse maior teor de ácido ascórbico. O peso seco das amostras variou de 8,24 a 10,13% e ácido ascórbico de 93,1 a 113,5 mg/100 g de peso fresco. Os teores de carboidratos solúveis, expressos em g/100 g de peso fresco foram: totais (3,17-4,54) sacarose (0,26-0,66), glucose (0,92-1,50) e frutose (0,91-145)

    Measurement of the mass difference m(D-s(+))-m(D+) at CDF II

    We present a measurement of the mass difference m(D-s(+))-m(D+), where both the D-s(+) and D+ are reconstructed in the phipi(+) decay channel. This measurement uses 11.6 pb(-1) of data collected by CDF II using the new displaced-track trigger. The mass difference is found to be m(D-s(+))-m(D+)=99.41+/-0.38(stat)+/-0.21(syst) MeV/c(2)

    © 2020 Author(s). Zinc selenide (ZnSe) was analyzed using x-ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS). A small notched rod was fractured in the XPS vacuum system at 6 × 10-4Pa to create an oxygen-free surface for analysis. Spectral regions for Zn 2p, Zn 3d, Zn LMM, O 1s, C 1s, Se 3d, Se 3p, and Se LMM and valence band regions were acquired. The presence of carbon could not be confirmed due to interferences between C 1s and Se LMM and between C KLL and Zn 3s. It is believed that any carbon present is very low
