Pemanfaatan serta penerapan teknologi informasi dapat membantu memaksimalkan kegiatan operasional di perusahaan itu sendiri. CV. Bina Mandiri Solusindo sebuah badan usaha yang bergerak di bidang jasa retail penjualan di Surabaya, produk yang dijual merupakan barang elektronik Notebook & Computer. Kendala yang dihadapi adalah pengelolaan maupun pengarsipan data penjualan dan pemesanan barang yang masih menggunakan cara manual dan menggunakan aplikasi sederhana, sehingga timbul masalah yaitu sering terjadinya keterlambatan dalam mengolah data pemesanan barang supplier, mengelola stok barang, serta mengolah data penjualan konsumen. Hasil dari Tugas Akhir ini berupa aplikasi Sistem Informasi Penjualan dan Pemesanan (SIMPENAN) di CV. Bina Mandiri Solusindo, diharapkan aplikasi ini dapat mempermudah dalam mengelola data stok barang di gudang, mempermudah pengolahan data menjadi lebih efektif dan efisien, sehingga dalam pencarian data dan pemeriksaan data akan menjadi lebih cepat, yang pada akhirnya dapat membantu karyawan dalam melakukan kegiatan operasional perusahaan. . Geographical Concentration of Manufacturing Industries in Java Region, Indonesia

Previous studies on geographical concentration of manufacturing industry in Indonesia demonstrated that many firms were localized in major metropolitan areas as well as in a set of emerging regions. The aim of this study is to complement the findings of the previous studies by exploring whether regional specialization and industrial concentration patterns have changed during the 1998-2007 period. This study further aims to explore the driving forces of industrial concentration in Indonesia‘s manufacturing industry, particularly for Java region, using 43 three-digit manufacturing industries (SIC151 – SIC293) over the same time period. The contribution analysis, the Theil index, and the location quotient index were employed in the analysis of the location of the manufacturing industry. The Herfindahl-Hirschman and Krugman Dissimilarity indices were used to analyze the regional specialization and concentration. This study used the fixed effect regression model to analyze the relationship between the concentration of the manufacturing industry and economies of scale, wages, labor productivity, labor intensity, urbanization economies, localization economies, and export orientation. The sample of this study consisted of 42 out of 96 regencies in six provinces in Java region. It was found that the distribution of manufacturing industry in Java is geographically scattered. The Theil index shows an increasing trend implying that the disparity of the manufacturing industry within regencies has increased. The inequality between regencies shows a decreasing trend over the period of the study, implying that the manufacturing industry in Java spreads only in several regencies. The location quotient index shows an increasing trend that reveals the economy of some regencies are more dependent on manufacturing and simultaneously it shows that several new manufacturing areas have emerged in Java. Further analysis indicated that economies of scale and wages have a positive and significant effect on the concentration of manufacturing industry, whereas labor productivity, labor intensity, urbanization economies, localization economies, and export orientation have a negative impact on manufacturing concentration

THE IMPACT OF FOREIGN DIRECT INVESTMENT ON ECONOMIC GROWTH IN INDONESIA, 1980-2004: A CAUSALITY APPROACH

Foreign investment, in addition to domestic investment, is one of the driving sources of a nation's economy, because of its ability to create jobs and allow the transfer oftechnology that in turn encourages economic growth. Significant role contributed by these investments, in the context of Indonesia, can be seen from its contribution to the national economy.This study aims to determine the relationship between investment and economic growth in Indonesia. Using the data of Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) and GDP on 1980-2004 periods, and method of causality, this study tried to answer the question of whether investment causes economic growth or whether economic growth causes investment.To examine the relationship between two variables, there are three steps test conducted, unit roots test (using the ADF test); co integration test (using the Johansen cointegration test); and causality test (using the Granger Causality test). Conclusion indicated that investment affects economic growth.Keywords: Foreign direct investment, economic growth, granger causality

PEMBUATAN SISTEM INFORMASI PEMBELIAN DAN PENJUALAN BERBASIS CUSTOMER RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT DI BENGKEL MOBIL REWWIN MOTOR

Pesatnya perkembangan bisnis yang mengadaptasi teknologi informasi, mendorong terjadinya persaingan bisnis. Setiap pelaku bisnis bersaing untuk merebut pangsa pasar dan meraih pelanggan agar menggunakan produk atau jasa dari perusahaan mereka. Bengkel mobil Rewwin Motor saat ini masih menggunakan sistem manual dan belum menggunakan sistem komputer dalam mengelola usaha bengkel mobil ini terutama dalam hal mengelola pelanggannya, mengelola data barang, mengelola data transaksi, dan mengelola informasi ke pelanggan Rewwin Motor. Untuk dapat menunjang itu semua, perlu sebuah konsep yang dapat membuat hubungan antara pihak bengkel mobil Rewwin Motor dan pelanggannya selalu terjalin dengan baik yaitu membuat sistem informasi berbasis Customer Relationship Management. Pembuatan aplikasi berbasis Customer Relationship Management di bengkel mobil Rewwin Motor ini dimulai dengan mempelajari dan melakukan analisis terhadap sistem yang ada di bengkel mobil Rewwin Motor ini. Dengan penggunaan sistem informasi tersebut, bengkel mobil Rewwin Motor dapat mengelola hubungan dengan pelanggannya dan segala jenis masalah administrasi misalnya dalam hal pengolahan data pelanggan, pengolahan data barang, pengolahan transaksi pembelian maupun penjualan yang ada di bengkel, dan pengolahan segala informasi seputar pelanggan agar dapat ditangani secara maksimal

Analisis Implementasi SAK Pada Penyusunan Laporan Keuangan Pada UMKM Di Kelurahan Pasir Putih Pada Daerah Pangkalpinang

ABSTRACT   SAK EMKM is one of the simple standards issued by the Indonesian Association of Accountants and is considered easier to understand for MSME actors. It is hoped that the issuance of SAK EMKM can further encourage MSMEs in expanding access to capital or financing, from industries such as banking, which will become the basic basis for preparing, and developing, accounting guidelines that will be used for MSMEs in Indonesia. The financial reports made by MSMEs in the Pasir Putih sub-district are only limited to reports of transaction records that they make every day before their business closes during operating hours. The remainder of the transaction between income and expenses is considered a profit or income. They do not record specific transactions such as raw materials for production materials, payments for electricity used, and other equipment needs. This has finally become one of the reasons for me as a researcher to be able to find out the main reasons for MSME actors not to make a financial information report that is in accordance with established standards. This research is a form or type of research that is descriptive qualitative type research. The subject of the current research will be carried out at 5 MSMEs located in Pasir Putih Village, Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands Province. The objects in this study were several reports of financial information on the five MSMEs spread across the Pasir Putih Village which the researchers would later analyze.   Keywords: SAK, Financial Statements, UMKM     ABSTRAK   SAK EMKM merupakan salah satu dari standar yang sederhana yang dikeluarkan oleh lembaga Ikatan Akuntan Indonesia dan dirasa lebih mudah untuk dipahami bagi para pelaku UMKM. Terbitnya SAK EMKM diharapkan lebih dapat mendorong UMKM dalam memperluas akses pemodalan atau pembiayaan, dari industri seperti perbankan akan menjadi landasan dasar atas penyusunan, dan dasar pengembangan, pedoman akuntansi yang akan digunakan bagi UMKM di Indonesia. Laporan keuangan yang dibuat para UMKM yang berada di kelurahan Pasir Putih hanya sebatas laporan catatan transaksi yang mereka buat setiap hari sebelum usaha mereka tutup jam operasional. Sisa transaksi antara pemasukan dan pengeluaran dianggaplah sebagai keuntungan atau pendapatan. Mereka tidak mencatat transaksi secara spesifik seperti bahan baku untuk bahan produksi, pembayaran listrik yang digunakan, serta kebutuhan perlengkapan lainnya. Hal inilah yang akhirnya menjadi salah satu dari beberapa  alasan saya sebagai peneliti untuk dapat mengetahui alasan utama para pelaku UMKM untuk tidak membuat sebuah laporan informasi keuangan yang sesuai sesuai dengan standar yang sudah ditetapkan. Penelitian ini merupakan bentuk atau jenis penelitian yang berjenis penelitian deskriptif jenis kualitatif. Subjek dari penelitian saat ini akan dilakukan pada 5 UMKM yang berada di Kelurahan Pasir Putih, Pangkalpinang, Provinsi Kepulauan Bangka Belitung. Objek dalam penelitian ini adalah beberapa laporan infomasi keuangan yang ada pada kelima UMKM yang tersebar di Kelurahan Pasir Putih yang nantinya akan dianalisis oleh peneliti.   Kata Kunci: Standar akuntansi, Laporan Informasi Keuangan UMKM

KINERJA MESIN PENGEROL PLAT BERGELOMBANG

Abstrak Selama ini di Usaha Kecil Menengah (UKM) yang memproduksi plat bergelombang untuk pembuatan cetakan roti, pemotong kue dan lain-lain masih belum efisien. Hal ini karena di UKM tersebut proses produksinya masih menggunakan peralatan manual. Oleh karena itu diperlukan usaha untuk membantu industri tersebut dalam meningkatkan produktifitasnya, yaitu dengan cara dibuatkan mesin pengerol plat bergelombang. Untuk mengetahui unjuk kerja mesin pengerol plat bergelombang yang telah dibuat maka dilakukan pengujian kinerja mesin pengerol tersebut. Mesin pengerol yang dibuat ini mempunyai dimensi  panjang 550 mm, lebar 400 mm, dan tinggi 1200 mm. Komponen utama mesin adalah motor listrik 1400 rpm, speed reducer 1:50 dan sprocket dengan diameter 980 mm, 780 mm, 650 mm, dan 600 mm. Pada pengujian pertama menggunakan sprocket diameter 650 mm pada as pengerol dan sprocket diameter 600 mm pada as speed reducer menghasilkan putaran pada pengerol 25 rpm. Untuk mengerol 5 lembar plat ukuran 480 mm x 300 mm x 0,5 mm diperlukan waktu 10 detik. Bentuk gelombang yang dihasilkan kurang baik, yaitu bentuk gelombang kurang lurus, dan tinggi gelombang kurang seragam. Pada pengujian kedua menggunakan sprocket diameter 780 mm pada as pengerol dan sprocket diameter 600 mm pada as speed reducer menghasilkan putaran pada pengerol 21 rpm. Untuk mengerol 5 lembar plat ukuran 480 mm x 300 mm x 0,5 mm diperlukan waktu 12 detik. Bentuk gelombang yang dihasilkan sangat baik. Pada pengujian ketiga menggunakan sprocket diamater 980 mm pada as pengerol dan sprocket diameter 600 mm pada as speed reducer menghasilkan putaran 17 rpm. Untuk mengerol 5 lembar plat ukuran 480 x 300 x 0,5 mm diperlukan waktu 15 detik. Bentuk gelombang yang dihasilkan sangat baik, sama baiknya dengan pengerolan pada putaran pengerol 21 rpm namun membutuhkan waktu yang lebih lama. Berdasarkan hasil pengujian unjuk kerja mesin pengerol plat bergelombang diatas maka untuk meningkatkan produktifitas UKM yang memproduksi plat bergelombang direkomendasikan untuk menggunakan kecepatan putar pengerol 21 rpm. SYSTEM IDENTIFICATION AND MODEL PREDICTIVE CONTROL FOR INTERACTING SERIES PROCESS WITH NONLINEAR DYNAMICS

This thesis discusses the empirical modeling using system identification technique and the implementation of a linear model predictive control with focus on interacting series processes. In general, a structure involving a series of systems occurs often in process plants that include processing sequences such as feed heat exchanger, chemical reactor, product cooling, and product separation. The study is carried out by experimental works using the gaseous pilot plant as the process. The gaseous pilot plant exhibits the typical dynamic of an interacting series process, where the strong interaction between upstream and downstream properties occurs in both ways. The subspace system identification method is used to estimate the linear model parameters. The developed model is designed to be robust against plant nonlinearities. The plant dynamics is first derived from mass and momentum balances of an ideal gas. To provide good estimations, two kinds of input signals are considered, and three methods are taken into account to determine the model order. Two model structures are examined. The model validation is conducted in open-loop and in closed-loop control system. Real-time implementation of a linear model predictive control is also studied. Rapid prototyping of such controller is developed using the available equipments and software tools. The study includes the tuning of the controller in a heuristic way and the strategy to combine two kinds of control algorithm in the control system. A simple set of guidelines for tuning the model predictive controller is proposed. Several important issues in the identification process and real-time implementation of model predictive control algorithm are also discussed. The proposed method has been successfully demonstrated on a pilot plant and a number of key results obtained in the development process are presented
