    Redesigning Solar Water Pumping System at Giricahyo, Gunungkidul Regency, Yogyakarta: HOMER Analysis Approach

    HOMER, the software for micro-power applicable as renewable energy optimization, was used to analyze solar water pumping system based on deferrable-load and primary-load methods at Giricahyo. The 12 kWp solar PV and 30 kW generator were used to power the standing-aline system.. Unfortunately, the system has been idle since 2010. Research to redesign and analyse solar water pumping system has been conducted by Ministry of Public Works together with the Department of Physics Engineering UGM to bring it into normally. Furthermore, this study was aimed to obtain recommendation and to conduct analysis on system performance using HOMER. As a result in deferrable-load method, generator is inappropriate to be implemented because fossil fuel will be very expensive and rare. Besides, the 12 kWp Solar PV could meet 31.4 % of demand load. In primary-load method, capacity shortage of 1.5 kW pump is at 3.2 % and 3 kW pump is at 9.9 % which means that to deal with fluctuation of solar radiation the use of the 1.5 kW pumps were recommended. The demand that can be fulfilled by 1.5 kW pump is at 22.4 %. Keywords: capacity shortage; giricahyo; HOMER; redesign; solar water supply system

    Perkembangan teknologi yang sangat cepat telah membuat banyak perubahan dalam kehidupan manusia. Teknologi utama yang akan mendukung implementasi industri 4.0 salah satunya yaitu teknologi kecerdasan buatan atau Artificial Intelligence (AI). Teknologi AI merupakan salah satu bidang ilmu komputer yang saat ini semakin berkembang dengan pesat. . Salah satu teknologi AI yang banyak dikembangkan untuk mempermudah pekerjaan manusia adalah asisten virtual. Asisten virtual adalah sebuah sistem yang bertindak seperti asisten tapi segala kinerjanya dilakukan secara otomatis sesuai program. Dengan adanya asisten virtual maka proses bertukar informasi tidak perlu dilakukan dengan manual yang mana harus menunggu pihak yang berkomunikasi untuk memberi respon. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangakan AVIBOT sebagai asisten virtual untuk pengelolaan persediaan obat pada Apotek Mitra Sehat Purwokerto dan dimaksudkan agar dapat membantu pengguna dalam mencari persediaan obat yang dibutuhkan.  Penelitian ini menggunakan Dialogflow untuk mengembangkan dengan ekstraksi pengetahuan serta menyediakan antarmuka dan fitur yang memungkinkan pengembang untuk membuat asisten virtual. Hasil penelitian ini AVIBOT dapat membantu pengguna dalam mengelola persediaan obat di Apotek Mitra Sehat Purwokerto dengan memberikan bantuan dalam mencari obat-obatan yang dibutuhkan

    HYBRID POWER SYSTEM MODELING FOR ELECTRICITY SYSTEM IN SUMBAWA DISTRICT (HYBRID POWER SYSTEM MODELING)

    Include the provision of energy management, utilization and enterprise shall be done justice, sustainability and so can not give optimal benefits for the greater welfare of the people. Sumbawa has a variety of potential sources of renewable energy such as; water energy, solar energy, wind energy, geothermal energy and biomass. From a variety of renewable energy potential can be made a model of hybrid power system design for the electrical system in Sumbawa is based on renewable energy in the region.             The purpose of this study was to determine the magnitude of the potential of renewable energy for power generation, knowing large share of renewable energy to the electrical energy needs and design a model of hybrid power system for electrical system in Sumbawa by using HOMER (Hybrid Optimisation Model for Electric Renewables).             The results of this study recommend a model of hybrid power system that is optimum for a total net present cost (NPC) US 144,954,400,operatingcostofUS 144,954,400, operating cost of US 1,801,515 / year, the cost of electric (COE) US $ 0.090 / kWh of excess electricity and 99,072,760 (kWh / year) and the contribution of each component of the capacity modeling results are; PV Array 4.4%; wind turbine 20.3%; hydro turbine 74.4%; biomass generator 0.8%; G1 and G2 diesel generator as a back-up system by 0.1%. The results of model simulations also show that the model of hybrid power system that is recommended to have much lower levels of emissions than conventional systems where there is a reduction in the level of emissions into the environment by 99.75%. Thus the hybrid power system for electrical system in Sumbawa considered feasible as an alternative solution to meet the electrical energy needs in Sumbaw

    Sistem Pemantauan Cuaca Jarak Jauh Dengan Menggunakan Pancar-terima VHF(Weather Telemonitoring System Using VHF Transceiver)

    ABSTRAK This research is intended to create the sufficient system, which is used for the real time weather telemonitoring system by using VHF Transceiver. The data managements which are developed in this research are expected to be used in the weather monitoring system with the high accuracy. Sensors, which are used in this research, are cloud circumstance (sunlight intensity sensor), vvater-flow velocity -sensor, wind velocity sensor, and temperature sensor. ADC 12 bits is used to convert the analog data becomes the digital data. Maximum data deviation is 0.0025 volt. Microcontroller fiinctioned as controller of data traffic and also arranges the component job in the remote station and the controller station. DTMF is used for the technique of data delivery digitally. Using multivariable analog communications system enable to build the remote station in various location with the communications of radio of FM-VHF and frequency 156 MHz. Maximum reach from this telemetry system is 30 km, by using antenna2 stacked Yagi 12-element array instructed by rotator at the controller station and Omni directional Gazden at the remote station.     SOLAR AND WIND ENERGY MODELLING FOR CENTRAL BANGKA REGENCY, BANGKA BELITUNG PROVINCE

    Central Bangka is a developing regency in Bangka Belitung Island Province. Geographically Bangka Belitung Islands is not far from the equator. The development of human resources and infrastructure for the energy sector is an integral part of regional development efforts. To fulfill the district's energy, we need to look at the potential of renewable energy such as wind power and solar power within the district. This research also provides the potential renewable energy capacity configuration through a simulation.This research used the simulation approach method to map the energy demand over the district and renewable energy available in the region. Energy demand data received from the National Electrical Company (PLN) of Bangka Belitung Province, and potential renewable energy data were obtained from the Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources of The Republic of Indonesia and the NASA website. Software HOMER is used to analyze electrical energy potential from renewable energy sources.The simulation shows wind energy could provide 0.15 – 0.19 kW and solar power at 3.99 – 4.96 kW/m2/day. The optimum configuration of energy supply consists of 61.4% solar energy and 38.6% wind energy. The hybrid configuration above using the solar photovoltaic (PV) output of 286,981 kWh/year and wind generator output of 180,758 kWh/year and an estimated value of 1,663,598.53forcapitalcost,1,663,598.53 for capital cost, 134,548.34 of operational cost, and cost of energy generated at $0.43/kWh.

    Islamic boarding schools for students are Islamic educational institutions with a boarding system in which students from Islamic boarding schools have Islamic religious education and general knowledge from universities. The Islamic Student Boarding School of the Ma'arif NU Islamic Institute in Metro City is located in Metro, Lampung. So far, there are approximately 70 students at the Ma'arif NU student boarding school in Metro City. There are prospects for advancement in entrepreneurial skills centered on this opportunity. To improve students in general education and Islamic scholarship, but with other skills currently needed, one of which is entrepreneurship. Making calligraphy art with tremendous economic potential is one of the skills taught in Islamic boarding schools. The goals of this program include introducing entrepreneurship to student students, learning how to use Prada techniques to create calligraphy art, and applying calligraphy art-making as an entrepreneur. The ABCD method was used for the assistance given to Metro City Ma'arif NU Islamic boarding school students. In this strategy, service prioritizes using capacity and assets that the group already has. In this approach, the capacity or potential is the direct assistance of society in achieving progress. The assistance results showed that the students managed to develop a calligraphy company that was run at an entire profit to fund the needs of the Islamic boarding school students. Students are not solely dependent on parental submissions based on these benefits. The outcomes of the calligraphy efforts carried out will fulfill the needs of entrepreneurial learners

    Giriharjo Village at panggang District, Gunungkidul Regency was a village that had clean water supply problem. Its villagers, having a monthly income in average of Rp 400.000,00, must spend around Rp 150.000,00 for clean water or otherwise they must walk to get water from Kaligede River 2 -4 km away from their home. Inorder to alleviate this problem, two separate team as parts of student community service program (KKN-PPM) UGM have been deployed on July-August 2008 and July-August 2009. As the result, a system of clean water supply using Solar Water Pumping System (SWPS) has been installed since the end of August 2009. However, there is no reliable distribution and purification system to provide equal access of clean water for the entire village. On the other hand, the system\u27s frequent shutdowns caused by technical problems also became the main concern for the future program. The third student team was deployed on July-August 2010 to perform the remaining tasks. This team has successfully established a reliable distribution system. However, the water purification system has not been installed yet. There was a delay on the development of the water filtration prototype. The SWPS technical problems have been solved with the assistance of PAMMASKARTA, a Non Governmental Organization on water supply system for rural areas in Yogyakarta

    Abstract – One of the companies located in Banyuwangi, East Java, is currently undertaking a project involving the replacement of pipes with pertalite fluid. In the process of designing this project, Company X needs to consider the head loss that occurs. Thus, it is necessary to increase capacity, minimize the flow of head loss, and reduce the use of 90° elbows located below the trestle. The material used for this project is API 5L Gr B. . The issues to be discussed in this research include the planning of a new pipeline design, determining the pipe transition angle from aboveground to underground, calculating the required support distance. From the results of the angle transition calculation method, the smallest value is found in the 30° elbow with a value of 0.152798087. Furthermore, for this pertalite fluid pipeline system, 56 supports are needed for 8-inch pipes, and 415 supports are needed for 12-inch pipes

    Analysis of Sustained Load and Nozzle Load Stresses on the Inlet and Outlet Pipe Vent Knock Out Drum

    Abstract - A vegetable oil production company located in Gresik, East Java is currently constructing a new plant, namely the New Amine Production Facility. In the production process of this amine compound, there is a Vent Recovery Unit where there is a Vent Knock Out Drum vessel with inlet and outlet pipelines. The pipelines in this flare system has 3 line numbers with a design pressure of 65.27 psi and a design temperature of 482°F, therefore this is a new design and the load received by the pipe is very large, so manual calculations, designs and simulations are required by computer. Stress analysis focuses on static stress analysis, allowable pipe span of the pipe which includes stress due to sustained load, and nozzle load. From the above problems analyzed by comparing manual calculation with running results on CAESAR II software so that the stress value can be determined according to the limits of ASME B31.3. The results of manual calculations show the sustained loads and CAESAR II software show the sustained loads and nozzle loads on the piping system is below the allowable limit value. So, from the results of the analyzed calculations or CAESAR II software states that the piping system is safe when operating
