A Lightweight and Attack Resistant Authenticated Routing Protocol for Mobile Adhoc Networks

In mobile ad hoc networks, by attacking the corresponding routing protocol, an attacker can easily disturb the operations of the network. For ad hoc networks, till now many secured routing protocols have been proposed which contains some disadvantages. Therefore security in ad hoc networks is a controversial area till now. In this paper, we proposed a Lightweight and Attack Resistant Authenticated Routing Protocol (LARARP) for mobile ad hoc networks. For the route discovery attacks in MANET routing protocols, our protocol gives an effective security. It supports the node to drop the invalid packets earlier by detecting the malicious nodes quickly by verifying the digital signatures of all the intermediate nodes. It punishes the misbehaving nodes by decrementing a credit counter and rewards the well behaving nodes by incrementing the credit counter. Thus it prevents uncompromised nodes from attacking the routes with malicious or compromised nodes. It is also used to prevent the denial-of-service (DoS) attacks. The efficiency and effectiveness of LARARP are verified through the detailed simulation studies.Comment: 14 Pages, IJWM

A Scheme to Implement a Universal Two-Qubit Quantum Circuit using Cross-Resonance Hamiltonian

In this brief report, we propose a circuit which is locally equivalent to a recently proposed universal two-qubit quantum circuit involving two applications of special perfect entanglers (SPEs) and local y-rotations. Further, we discuss a scheme of implementation of the equivalent circuit using cross-resonance Hamiltonian. Finally, we implement the B-gate circuit using a CNOT gate and a CNOT\sqrt{\text{CNOT}} gate. This requires the implementation time which is approximately 64.84% of the time required to implement the same gate using two CNOT gates.Comment: 6 pages, Research in progress, Comments are welcom

Hydrostatic pressure effect on Tc of new BiS2 based Bi4O4S3 and NdO0.5F0.5BiS2 layered superconductors

We investigate the external hydrostatic pressure effect on the superconducting transition temperature (Tc) of new layered superconductors Bi4O4S3 and NdO0.5F0.5BiS2. Though the Tc is found to have moderate decrease from 4.8 K to 4.3 K (dTconset/dP = -0.28 K/GPa) for Bi4O4S3 superconductor, the same increases from 4.6 K to 5 K (dTconset/dP = 0.44 K/GPa) upto 1.31 GPa followed by a sudden decrease from 5 K to 4.7 K upto 1.75 GPa for NdO0.5F0.5BiS2 superconductor. The variation of Tc in these systems may be correlated to increase or decrease of the charge carriers in the density of states under externally applied pressure.Comment: 3 pages text +Fig

Laser beam technology is a standout amongst the most generally utilized warm vitality based non-contact sort progress machining process which can be connected for entire scope of materials. The cost of slicing hand-to-machine materials by customary mechanical machining procedures is high because of the low material expulsion rate and short device life, and a few materials are unrealistic to be cut by the traditional machining process. Laser beam/pillar is focused for softening and vaporizing the undesirable material from the parent material. It is reasonable for geometrically complex profile cutting and making smaller than usual openings in sheet metal. It gives portability to natives and cargo, among the locales of Europe and past, while being a motor for monetary development and employments. It is accordingly critical that development is accomplished in a feasible way, thinking about wellbeing and security worries and additionally unfriendly atmosphere pertinent and ecological impacts. Lasers are generally utilized as a part of assembling, correspondence, estimation and restorative. Vitality thickness of the laser beam/pillar can be adjusted by fluctuating the wavelength. This property has made the lasers capable for expelling to a great degree little measure of material and has prompted the utilization of lasers to produce little elements in work section constituents. The basic investigation of different hypothetical and exploratory reviews is utilized to portray the execution of laser pillar miniaturized scale machining on a portion of the propelled manufacturing materials. This paper gives a survey on the different research activities done in laser beam technology. The substance of paper contains a concise presentation of recent development in laser beam and its improvement

    Get PDF
A multimodal human identification system based on face and body recognition may be made available for effective biometric authentication. The outcomes are achieved by extracting facial recognition characteristics using several extraction techniques, including Eigen-face and Principle Component Analysis (PCA). Systems for authenticating people using their bodies and faces are implemented using artificial neural networks (ANN) and genetic optimization techniques as classifiers. Through feature fusion and scores fusion, the biometric systems for the human body and face are merged to create a single multimodal biometric system. Human bodies may be identified with astonishing accuracy and effectiveness thanks to the SDK for the Kinect sensor. To identify people, biometrics aims to mimic the pattern recognition process. In comparison to traditional authentication methods based on secrets and tokens, it is a more dependable and safe option. Human physiological and behavioral traits are used by biometric technologies to identify people automatically. These characteristics must fulfill many criteria, especially those that relate to universality, efficacy, and applicability

    Get PDF
The need for precise orbit determination (POD) has grown significantly due to the increased amount of space-based activities taking place at an accelerating pace. Accurate POD positively contributes to achieving the requirements of Low-Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite missions, including improved tracking, reliability and continuity. This research aims to systematically analyze the LEO–POD in four aspects: (i) data sources used; (ii) POD technique implemented; (iii) validation method applied; (iv) accuracy level obtained. We also present the most used GNSS systems, satellite missions, processing procedures and ephemeris. The review includes studies on LEO–POD algorithms/methods and software published in the last two decades (2000–2021). To this end, 137 primary studies relevant to achieving the objective of this research were identified. After the investigation of these primary studies, it was found that several types of POD techniques have been employed in the POD of LEO satellites, with a clear trend observed for techniques using reduced-dynamic model, least-squares solvers, dual-frequency signals with undifferenced phase and code observations in post-processing mode. This review provides an understanding of the various POD techniques, dataset utilized, validation techniques, and accuracy level of LEO satellites, which have interest to developers of small satellites, new researchers and practitioners.© The Author(s) 2023. Effects of diet and/or exercise in enhancing spinal cord sensorimotor learning.

    Get PDF
Given that the spinal cord is capable of learning sensorimotor tasks and that dietary interventions can influence learning involving supraspinal centers, we asked whether the presence of omega-3 fatty acid docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) and the curry spice curcumin (Cur) by themselves or in combination with voluntary exercise could affect spinal cord learning in adult spinal mice. Using an instrumental learning paradigm to assess spinal learning we observed that mice fed a diet containing DHA/Cur performed better in the spinal learning paradigm than mice fed a diet deficient in DHA/Cur. The enhanced performance was accompanied by increases in the mRNA levels of molecular markers of learning, i.e., BDNF, CREB, CaMKII, and syntaxin 3. Concurrent exposure to exercise was complementary to the dietary treatment effects on spinal learning. The diet containing DHA/Cur resulted in higher levels of DHA and lower levels of omega-6 fatty acid arachidonic acid (AA) in the spinal cord than the diet deficient in DHA/Cur. The level of spinal learning was inversely related to the ratio of AA:DHA. These results emphasize the capacity of select dietary factors and exercise to foster spinal cord learning. Given the non-invasiveness and safety of the modulation of diet and exercise, these interventions should be considered in light of their potential to enhance relearning of sensorimotor tasks during rehabilitative training paradigms after a spinal cord injury
