    Keefektifan Model Search, Solve, Create, and Share Ditinjau Dari Prestasi, Penalaran Matematis, Dan Motivasi Belajar

    The purpose of this study is to describe the effectiveness of teaching with the teaching model search, solve, create, and share (SSCS) and to describe whether teaching by teaching model SSCS better than by model conventional regarding students' achievement, mathematical reasoning, and mathematics learning motivation. This research was quasi-experimental with the non-equivalent control group design. The population was all students of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan consisting of five classes. The sample taken at random consisted of two classes: classes VIII-D dan VIII-E. Class VIII-D was taught by using the model conventional, while class VIII-E was taught by using the SSCS teaching model. The data were analyzed by using a multivariate test Hotelling's T2, MANCOVA test, and tested further by using t-test procedures. Each analysis regarding at the significance level of 5%. The results showed that: the first, the teaching of mathematics by using the SSCS model is effective regarding students' achievement and students' mathematics learning motivation, but it is not effective in terms of mathematical reasoning Banguntapan Muhammadiyah junior high school students of class VIII. The second, the SSCS teaching model is better than the conventional teaching model regarding students' achievement and mathematical reasoning abilities, but not better terms of students' mathematics learning the mathematics of class VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan

    Perceptions of geometry and cultural values on traditional woven fabric motifs of the Sasak people

    This cultural diversity can be utilized in exploring mathematical concepts bridged by ethnomathematics to bring mathematics closer to students' cultures. However, on the other hand, many people think that mathematics is culture-free. The uniqueness and diversity of cultures in ideas, activities, and artifacts can be studied and used as learning resources, especially in mathematics. Therefore, this study seeks to explore the geometrical perceptions and cultural values contained in the traditional woven fabric motifs of theĀ SasakĀ people. This research is qualitative research with an ethnographic method. Research data were collected through observation, literature study, and interviews with cultural practitioners, traditional leaders, woven fabric craftsmen, and cultural. The results of this study indicate that the traditional woven fabrics of theĀ SasakĀ people have recognized and used mathematical concepts, especially lines, angles, flat shapes, and geometric transformations, in the design of traditional woven fabric motifs of theĀ SasakĀ people. In addition, there is a philosophical meaning contained in each motif or pattern. The meaning is in the form of cultural values such as moral, historical, and philosophical values, which are used as messages to their children and grandchildren

    Interrelation of learning model and peer interaction through motivation on achievement

    Mathematics is often seen as a complex subject by most students. This has caused their achievement and motivation to be low. This study aims to see whether there is a direct or indirect influence from the independent and intervening variables on the dependent variables. This research is quantitative. The population is grade VIII of one of state junior high school, and the sample is class 8-B which consists of 28 students. The instruments used in data collection were questionnaires and tests. Data were analyzed using path analysis with the help of the Amos 25.0 program. The research result is that the P-value is 0.170.05. There is a direct effect of the learning approach on motivation; the P-value is 0.0490.05. Peer interaction immediately affects achievement; the P-value is 0.0350.05. There is a direct effect of the learning models on achievement; the P-value is 0.0880.05. There is no direct effect of peer interaction on achievement; the P-value of 0.0230.05 has a direct impact on motivation on achievement, the P-value of 0.4440.05 motivation cannot mediate peer interaction on achievement, and a P-value of 0.0240.05 with the conclusion that there is an indirect effect between learning model on achievement through motivation

    Prediksi Jumlah Wisatawan Menggunakan Metode Random Forest, Single Exponential Smoothing dan Double Exponential Smoothing di Provinsi NTB

    The aim of study is to forecast global tourist visits and compare the forecasting methods to determine the best method using random forest, single exponential smoothing and double exponential smoothing, respectively. These methods are applied in global tourist visit data in West Nusa Tenggara Province. Random forest, single exponential smoothing and double exponential smoothing are familiar methods and are frequently utilized in forecasting. In addition, the three methods have great accuracy for time series data, such as data of global tourist visits. The data used in this study is data of global tourist visits from 2014 to 2021 in West Nusa Tenggara province. Applying the random forest, single exponential smoothing and double exponential smoothing methods in forecasting, the result shows that double exponential smoothing method is the best, based on the smallest value of Mean Absolute Percentage Error (MAPE) of 325.759. The forecasting result found out that tourist visits will increase from previous time, starting from August, 2021 to July, 2021 with an estimated 847 to 1045 live

    The use of technology in the world of education is a must where digital technology is currently an important part in supporting teaching and learning activities. Professional teachers have the obligation to plan learning, carry out quality learning processes, as well as assess and evaluate learning outcomes, so to carry out these obligations the first step a teacher must take is to design all learning tools. To improve this, it is considered important to provide workshops or training on Android-based learning media design. The workshop was carried out for one full day with details of the provision of materials, practice of making electronic applications and mentoring of participants after the workshop activities were completed. With the aim of increasing teacher competence in designing and utilizing android-based learning media in the learning process in the classroom. The workshop will be held on Saturday, August 6, 2022 at SMAN 2 Selong. The results of the workshop illustrate that participants have been able to create android-based learning media applications

    Salah satu upaya untuk minimalisasi tingkat plagiat di kalangan mahasiswa dalam menyusun tugas akhir adalah optimalisasi studi literatur dan melakukan pengecekan tingkat plagiat menggunakan aplikasi standar seperti Plagiarism CheckerX. Tujuan kegiatan ini adalah meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam menyusun tugas akhir dengan tingkat plagiasi tidak lebih dari 30%. Oleh sebab itu, sebanyak 83 mahasiswa telah mengikuti kegiatan workshop penggunaan software Plagiarism CheckerX serta dijelaskan teknik memperbaiki hasil plagiat jika lebih dari 30%. Angket merupakan alat evaluasi yang digunakan dalam kegiatan ini. Hasil pelaksanaan kegiatan menunjukkan bahwa sebesar 89% mahasiswa memahami materi yang disampaikan dan memahami teknik mengecek plagiat serta memperbaiki hasil plagiat tersebut. &nbsp

    Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan keefektifan pembelajaran matematika dengan model search, solve, create, and share (SSCS), dan mendeskripsikan pembelajaran matematika dengan model SSCS lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran matematika dengan model konvensional ditinjau dari prestasi, kemampuan penalaran matematis, dan motivasi belajar. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian eksperimen semu dengan desain kontrol grup non-ekuivalen. Populasi dalam penelitian adalah seluruh siswa kelas VIII SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan yang terdiri dari lima kelas. Sampel penelitian diambil dua kelas secara acak, yaitu kelas VIII-D dan VIII-E. Kelas VIII-D diberikan perlakuan berupa pembelajaran matematika dengan model konvensional, sedangkan kelas VIII-E diberikan perlakuan berupa model SSCS. Instrumen penelitian yang digunakan meliputi tes prestasi belajar (rpretest = 0,83 dan rpostest = 0,81), tes kemampuan penalaran matematis (rpretest = 0,81 dan rposttest = 0,75), dan angket motivasi belajar (rangket = 0,91). Untuk mengetahui keefektifan pembelajaran matematika dengan model SSCS, data dianalisis secara multivariat menggunakan uji T2 Hottelingā€™s. Untuk mengetahui pengaruh model SSCS, data dianalisis secara multivariat dengan menggunakan uji MANCOVA. Jika terdapat pengaruh pembelajaran matematika dengan model SSCS, maka dilakukan uji lanjut dengan menggunakan prosedur t-test dengan tujuan untuk menentukan variabel-variabel mana yang berkontribusi terhadap pengaruh model SSCS secara keseluruhan. Setiap analisis dilakukan pada taraf signifikansi 5%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pembelajaran matematika dengan model SSCS efektif ditinjau dari prestasi dan motivasi belajar, tetapi tidak efektif ditinjau dari kemampuan penalaran matematis siswa SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan kelas VIII. Selain itu, pembelajaran matematika dengan model SSCS lebih baik dibandingkan dengan pembelajaran matematika dengan modelĀ¬ konvesional ditinjau dari prestasi dan kemampuan penalaran matematis, tetapi tidak lebih baik ditinjau dari motivasi belajar siswa SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan kelas VIII. Dengan kata lain, pembelajaran matematika dengan model SSCS berpengaruh terhadap prestasi dan kemampuan penalaran matematis, tetapi tidak berpengaruh terhadap motivasi belajar siswa SMP Muhammadiyah Banguntapan kelas VIII

    Accreditation is an acknowledgment from an accreditation body that an institution maintains a certain level of educational standards. Educational accreditation is a quality assurance process by which services and operating institutions, or educational programs are evaluated and verified by an external body to determine whether recognized and accepted standards are being met. If standards are met, accredited status is granted by the appropriate agency. To prepare for this it is considered important to provide assistance to every school that needs it, as was done by SDN 3 Suralaga. Assistance is carried out for 2 months, from April to May 2022. Assistance is carried out through 4 stages, namely 1) presentation of accreditation instrument material, 2) discussion and assistance on school readiness for accreditation, 3) physical evidence assistance, 4) preparation of physical evidence and 5) evaluation of sensitivity. The results of the assistance show that 1) the physical evidence prepared by each teacher who is given the task as the person in charge is ready and complete and 2) the school is ready for visitation
