    Empowerment of Social Capital Based on Religion to Espouse Employee Work Ethics at Al-Azhar Foundation Jakarta

    Trust is the essence of social capital. The Al-Azhar Islamic Boarding School Foundation (YPI) as an educational institution requires trust to survive and develop until now. As a religion-based foundation, the work ethic of employees is expected to be able to follow the religious norms that have been established so as to become a character for the institution. This research uses descriptive and exploratory approaches so that the researcher can clearly describe the concepts used in this research in detail. While the data was collected through observation and interviews from supervisors, administrators, supervisors, teachers, employees, alumni and the parents of YPI Al-Azhar. The results showed that employees and teachers at work prioritized service and honor than indicators of worship and trust. Employees at work are generally still transactional and pragmatic. So that the religious socio-religious capital, grace and sincerity that were imparted and inherited by the founders of Al-Azhar have not yet become the soul of the employees at work. Kepercayaan merupakan inti dari modal sosial. Yayasan Pesantren Islam (YPI) Al- Azhar sebagai lembaga pendidikan memerlukan kepercayaan untuk bertahan dan berkembang hingga saat ini. Sebagai yayasan yang berlandaskan agama, maka etos kerja karyawan diharapkan dapat mengikuti Norma agama yang sudah ditetapkan agar menjadi karakter bagi lembaga tersebut. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan deskriptif dan eksploratif agar peneliti dapat menggambarkan dengan jelas konsep yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini secara rinci. Sedangkan data dikumpulkan melalui observasi dan wawancara dari pembina, pengurus, pengawas, guru, karyawan, alumni dan serta orangtua murid YPI Al-Azhar. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa para karyawan dan guru dalam bekerja lebih mendahulukan pelayanan dan kehormatan dibandingkan indikator ibadah dan amanah. Karyawan dalam bekerja pada umumnya masih bersifat transaksional dan pragmatis. Sehingga modal sosial religious, keikhlasan, ketulusan yang disemaikan dan diwariskan oleh para pendiri Al-azhar belum dapat menjadi jiwa dari para pegawai dalam bekerja

    Guru dan orang tua memiliki peran penting dalam kegiatan belajar mengajar khususnya dalam prestasi peserta didik yang memiliki kompentensi. Peran guru seperti menjadi fasilitator, membimbing, mengarahkan dan memberi nasehat, menjadi teladan dan membiasakan belajar mengajar. Dan peran orang tua menyediakan fasilitas belajar, memberi perhatian dalam kegiatan belajar peserta didik, membiasakan peserta didik untuk belajar serta memberikan arahan dan nasehat. Berdasarkan hasil pra survey penelitian MTs Al-Khairiyah Natar peran guru Akidah Akhlak dan orang tua peserta didik tergolong baik yang menjadi permasalahan adalah perolehan prestasi belajar yang masih rendah. Untuk itu peneliti tertarik mengadakan penelitian mengenai “Peran Guru Dan Orang Tua Dalam Meningkatkan Prestasi Belajar Peserta Didik Bidang Studi Akidah Akhlak Di MTs Al-Khairiyah Natar Lampung Selatan”. Rumusan masalah pada penelitian ini adalah : “Bagaimana peran guru dan orang tua dalam meningkatkan prsetasi belajar prestasi belajar bidang studi akidah akhlak di MTs Al-Khairiyah Natar Lampung Selatan ?”. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian lapangan ( field research ) dengan menggunakan metode kualitatif. Dalam sumber data mengunakan berupa, purposive sampling dan snowball. Dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa, wawancara, observasi dan dokumentasi. Metode analisis data dilakukan dengan Reduksi Data, Penyajian Data dan Verfikasi Data. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian yang penulis temukan dilapangan menyatakan bahwa “peran guru dan orang tua dalam meningkatkan prsetasi belajar peserta didik bidang studi akidah akhlak di MTs Al-Khairiyah Natar Lampung Selatan telah di perankan dengan baik kepada peserta didik di sekolah tersebut, pelaksanaan dalam proses belajar mengajar pun berjalan dengan baik, peran guru dengan mengajarkan pendidikan akidah akhlak, membiasakan mendisiplinkan pola belajar, memberikan motivasi belajar, memberikan arahan, memberikan bimbingan, menghukum, memberikan pujian dan hadiah, memberikan suri tauladan dan menasehati peserta didik. Peran orang tua dalam menyediakan fasilitas belajar, memperhatikan pendidikan peserta didik, memberikan pengarahan dan nasehat, memberikan pengawasan, memberikan semangat dan motivasi dan membantu kesulitan belajar. Prestasi belajar peserta didik di MTs Al-Khairiyah Natar setelah di perankan guru dan orang tua prestasi peserta didik meningkat cukup baik. Penulis menyimpulkan bahwa peran guru dan orang tua dalam meningkatkan prestasi belajar peserta didik membutuhkan keselarasan dari kedua belah pihak baik keluarga peserta didik ataupun pihak sekolah seperti dewan guru serta pihak-pihak yang terkait di dalamnya, namun tidak terlepas dari minat, motivasi dan kompetensi peserta didik

    Many potential pitfalls and artefacts have been described in PET imaging that uses F-18 fluorodeoxyglucose (FDG). Normal uptake of FDG occurs in many sites of the body and may cause confusion in interpretation particularly in oncology imaging. Clinical correlation, awareness of the areas of normal uptake of FDG in the body and knowledge of variation in uptake as well as benign processes that are FDG avid are necessary to avoid potential pitfalls in image interpretation. In this context, optimum preparation of patients for their scans can be instituted in an attempt to reduce the problem. Many of the problems and pitfalls associated with areas of normal uptake of FDG can be solved by using PET CT imaging. PET CT imaging has the ability to correctly attribute FDG activity to a structurally normal organ on CT. However, the development of combined PET CT scanners also comes with its own specific problems related to the combined PET CT technique. These include misregistration artefacts due to respiration and the presence of high density substances which may lead to artefactual overestimation of activity if CT data are used for attenuation correction

    Computed tomography (CT) has been recognised as the most widely-used imaging technique in both adults and children, owing to the technological developments, especially with the recent innovations in multislice CT. This has resulted in an increase in the frequent use of CT examinations in children younger than 15 years in developed countries. Increasing use of paediatric CT in clinical practice has raised concerns about the potential risk of radiation-induced fatal malignancy. This is because CT examinations deliver much higher radiation dose than conventional radiographic techniques. Children are more sensitive to radiation exposure than adults and have a longer time ahead of them to manifest the radiation-induced effects and injuries. Therefore, it is of paramount importance to reduce or minimise the radiation dose to children when choosing CT as the major imaging modality for diagnostic purposes. This article reviews the clinical applications of paediatric CT with regard to the adjustment of imaging protocols in routine clinical practice and in the emergency department, justification of CT use in paediatric imaging, clinical awareness of CT-associated radiation risk and strategies to minimise radiation exposure to children
