On the polar decomposition of right linear operators in quaternionic Hilbert spaces

In this article we prove the existence of the polar decomposition for densely defined closed right linear operators in quaternionic Hilbert spaces: If TT is a densely defined closed right linear operator in a quaternionic Hilbert space HH, then there exists a partial isometry U0U_{0} such that T=U0TT = U_{0}|T|. In fact U0U_{0} is unique if N(U0)=N(T)N(U_{0}) = N(T). In particular, if HH is separable and UU is a partial isometry with T=UTT = U|T|, then we prove that U=U0U = U_{0} if and only if either N(T)={0}N(T) = \{0\} or R(T)={0}R(T)^{\bot} = \{0\}.Comment: 17 page

Investigation on Microstructure and Tensile Fractography of RE Oxides (CeO2/Y2O3) Reinforced AZ91D Magnesium Matrix Composites

The current work aims to investigate the mechanical properties of rare oxide reinforced Mg alloy based MMCs. Magnesium matrix considered in the study is AZ91D alloy, whereas rare earth oxides reinforced were CeO2 and Y2O3. The Y2O3 particulate reinforcement percentage was varied from 1 to 3% in the steps of 1% to study its influence on mechanical properties of MMCs. Stir casting route was adopted to fabricate sample for study. Microstructure analysis illustrated the uniform distribution of particulate in matrix alloys. The obtained results revealed the enhanced mechanical properties such as tensile strength, yield strength, elongation and hardness of MMCs due to increased percentage of reinforcement. Fractography analysis of fracture surfaces demonstrated the microcracks and cleavage were dominant in pure alloy. While particle debonding, extensive plastics deformation were prominent in-addition to microcracks in MMCs

Total edge irregularity strength of join of path and complement of a complete graph

An edge irregular total k-labeling of a graph G is a labeling of the vertices and edges of G with labels from the set {1, 2, ..., k} in such a way that any two different edges have distinct weights. The weight of an edge uv is the sum of the label of uv and the labels of vertices u and v. The minimum k for which the graph G has an edge irregular total k-labeling is called the total edge irregularity strength of G. In this paper, we determine the exact value of the total edge irregularity strength of Pn + Km.Publisher's Versio

Follicular Dendritic cell sarcoma arises from the follicular dendritic cells present in the lymphnode.Though are commonly seen in head and neck area but are extremely rare in the abdomen. Less than eighty cases are reported in the indexed literature. We herein describe a case of follicular dendritic cell sarcoma arising from the stomach wall with infiltration into pancreas in an 85 year old patient

Pharmacological and Clinical Importance of Integrin Antagonists in Treatment of Cancer

Integrins are heterodimeric molecules that are composed of 18 α -subunits and 8 β -subunits. They exist in 24 distinctive shapes based on combination of these sub-units and are mainly responsible for the adhesion of extracellular matrix (ECM) and immunoglobulin family molecules. Integrins mediate adhesion of epithelial cells to the basement membrane and also help in the migration, proliferation and survival of tumor cells. Studies also reveal that certain integrins act as markers for tumor cells and they also assist in both tumor progression and apoptosis. Studies reveal that unligated integrins in association with caspase 8 result in inhibition of ECM adhesion might result and integrin mediated death (IMD) on the other hand integrins in association with oncogenes or receptor tyrosine kinases can result in enhanced tumorigenesis. Among several types of integrins, αvβ 3 and α 5 β 1 have gained importance in anti-angiogenesis studie

Enhancing the Security and Quality Image Steganography using Hiding Algorithm based on Minimizing the Distortion

In this paper, highest state-of-the-art binary image Steganographic approach considers the spinning misinterpretation according to the personal visual structure, which will be not secure when they are attacked by Steganalyzers. In this paper, a binary image Steganographic scheme that aims to reduce the hiding misinterpretation on the balance is presented. We excerpt the complement, turn, and following-invariant local balance arrangement from the binary image first. The weighted sum of Complement, Turn, And Following-Invariant Local Balance changes when spinning one pixel is then employed to allot the spinning misinterpretation corresponding to that pixel. By examining on both simple binary images and the composed image constructed message set, we show that the advanced appraisal can well describe the misinterpretations on both visual aspect and statistics. Based on the proposed measurement, a practical Steganographic scheme is develope

ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT ASSESSMENT OF DISPOSAL SITE POLLUTION ON GROUNDWATER QUALITY OF SALEM CITY, TAMILNADU

Analysis of Ground Water Quality Parameters of water samples from three boreholes located near a dumping site and one borehole located near a landfilling site at Salem, Tamilnadu. It was carried out to ascertain the magnitude of dumpsite pollution on groundwater quality. Borehole locations were at radial distances of 10km away from the landfill and dumping site respectively. Groundwater samples were collected from all the said four sites and tested for major water quality parameters. The parameters determined to included: Chlorides, Total Hardness, Fluorides, pH and Dissolved oxygen (D.O.). Most of these parameters indicated traceable pollution but were below the World Health Organization (WHO) and Bureau of Indian Standard (BIS) for Drinking Water Quality limits for consumption. Our assessment focuses on the groundwater contamination potentials of both dumping and sanitary landfilling methods. In Salem city, solid waste disposal is done in various locations. Four different sites, namely New Bus Stand, Dalmia Board and Kitchipalayam where mere dumping of solid waste is practiced and Chettichavadi where a landfill site is operated were chosen for our study. The results portray significant contamination of groundwater. The obtained results have been analyzed further in the light of Environmental Impact Assessment concepts. Many-fold increase in the concentration of all constituents is noticed. An Incremental increase in the concentration of constituents of groundwater in and around the waste disposal sites, both in space and time (present and future), has been determined. It shows that the rate of deterioration in the quality of groundwater is alarming, if the same practice of irregular dumping of municipal solid waste is continued

Priority based energy efficient hybrid cluster routing protocol for underwater wireless sensor network

A little change in the environment that goes unnoticed in an underwater communication network might lead to calamity. A little alteration in the environment must also be adequately analyzed in order to deal with a potential crisis. A priority-based routing protocol is required to ensure that the vital data perceived by the sensor about the environment changes. The priority-based routing system guarantees that vital data packets are delivered at a quicker pace to the destination or base station for further processing. In this work, we present a priority-based routing protocol based on the energy efficient hybrid cluster routing protocol (EEHRCP) algorithm. The suggested approach keeps two distinct queues for lower and higher priority data packets. In order to ensure that these packets get at their destination without any information loss and at a quicker rate, all of the crucial sensed data is passed through a higher priority queue. Test findings show that the suggested technique increases throughput, delivery percentage, and reduces latency for the crucial data packets
