Abstract Company’s financial health is one of the important factors that must be maintained by the company to maintain the sustainability of its business. The objective of the study is to examine the effect of financial performance and corporate governance on financial health. Financial performance is reflected by three indeps: leverage, liquidity, and profitability. While corporate governance is reflected by managerial ownership, institutional ownership, the proportion of independent commissioners, and the size of audit committee. This study used financial report of listed manufacturing companies in Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during 2013-2017. The data was collected by purposive sampling. This study used logistic regression analysis to examine seven of independent variables on financial health. The result indicate leverage and institutional ownership were significant and negatively affected the company’s financial health. While liquidity and profitability were significant and positively affected the company’s financial health. Keywords: financial health, financial distress, financial performance, corporate governance.

Diabetes mellitus (DM) is disease with hyperglycaemic condition. Hyperglycaemic can induce vascular problem (microvascular and macro vascular), neuropathy, and nephropathy. Microvascular and neuropathy can induce foot problem in patient, which can make amputation, increase medical cost, and care cost. Diabetes Self-Management and Education (DSME) can influence patient foot care behaviour and also patient foot condition. This research aim is to find effectiveness of DSME to patient foot care behaviour and patient foot condition. This research involve 112 respondents (intervention group= 56 respondents, control group= 56 respondents) with quasi experiment nonequivalent control group pre-test – post-test method. Intervention DSME was given for eight week with 15 minutes education every week for each patient, data collected by foot behaviour questionnaire and checking patient’s foot condition. In first week researcher collected pre-test data and in eight week researcher collect post-test data. Data analysed by ordinal regression at 5% for significant value. Result: DSME significantly increase foot care behaviour (p = 0.000) and influence foot behaviour 12.2%, DSME also significantly increase patient foot condition (p = 0.000) and influence foot condition 7.4%. DSME which applied with continuity can enhance foot care behaviour and awareness to checking foot condition then patient can avoid foot problem related to DM. Future research can use monofilament and Ankle Brachial Index for examination foot condition.   Keywords: DSME, foot care behaviour, foot conditio

A study was conducted on eight cultivars of blackberry (\u27Apache\u27, \u27Arapaho\u27, \u27Chester\u27, \u27Chickasaw\u27, \u27Kiowa\u27, \u27Navaho\u27, \u27Shawnee\u27, and \u27Triple Crown\u27), of which four plants of each were previously determined in the fall of 2001 to have root, but not leaf, infection with Tobacco ringspot virus (TRSV). The objective of our study was to determine virus effects on plant vigor, and the spread of virus infection in the plants. Eight plants of each cultivar, four infected and four free of infection, were grown in pots on a gravel pad for the 2002 growing season, and samples of primocane and floricane leaves were taken to determine if TRSV had moved to the above-ground portion of the plants. TRSV injection was determined by ELISA tests. At the end of the growing season (October), the plants were harvested and dry weights determined for floricanes, primocanes, and roots to determine virus effects on plant vigor. In all plants that had been shown to have root TRSV injection, the virus was shown to have moved into the top portion of the plants as evidenced by positive ELISA tests on primocane and floricane leaf tissue. Dry weight results indicated no significant interaction of virus infection and cultivar, or any main effects of virus on cane or root growth, as all dry weights were similar for infected and non-infected plants. No dramatic leaf symptoms of virus injection were observed on infected plants in our study at any time during the growing season. Further research should focus on possible virus effects on plants that have been injected for a longer period of time to determine if in fact the virus has any effect on plant growth or productivity
