DECREASE IN FREE FATTY ACID CONTENT AND COLOR AT USED COOKING OIL WITH ACTIVATED CARBON OF REEDS (Imperata cylindrica L. Raeusch)

Cooking oil is one of the foods that are needed by the community in daily life. The use of cooking oil continuously at high temperatures, produces cooking oil that is no longer feasible to use. Therefore, it’s necessary to purify used cooking oil so that it can be reused for non-foood purposes such as making soap or biodiesel fuel. This purification process is utilie the activated carbon of reeds (Imperata cylindrica L. Raeusch) as an adsorbent to reduce the levels of free fatty acids and colors in used cooking oil. Free fatty acid content test using acid base titration method and color change using Uv-Vis spectrofotometry method. This study aims to determine the optimum concentration of reeds activated carbon as an adsorbent in reducing the levels of free fatty acids and colors in used cooking oil, which consists of the concentration of reeds activated carbon which is a consentration of 2,5; 5; 7,5; 10; dan 12,5%. The results of variance analysis showed the optimum concentration of reeds activated carbon to reduce the levels of free fatty acids and colors absorbance in used cooking oil at a concentration of 7,5%. The percentage of decreasing levels of free fatty acids gorengan and pecel lele are 78.57% and 78.85%. Decrease in absorbance of gorengan color from 1,792% to 0,384% and the pecel lele color absorbance from 2,521 to 0,515. This study aimed to describe the learning outcomes through the use of media map. The subjects were students of class II SD 025 Bintan Kecamatan Dumai Timur. This study was conducted over two cycles. Improved learning outcomes in terms of four categories, namely absorption, the effectiveness of learning, mastery learning completeness students both individually and classical completeness and thoroughness of learning outcomes. The instrument used for data collection is an oral test and a written test in the form of worksheets that is done after the process of learning results showed absorption learning outcomes on average 93.93% categorized as very good, very effective learning effectiveness categorized with an average of 90. Meanwhile, mastery learning outcomes of students declared complete 100%

UPAYA MENINGKATKAN KOMPETENSI PROFESIONAL GURU SEKOLAH DASAR MELALUI LESSON STUDY

This research is motivated by a conventional learning orientation where teacher-centered learning must be transformed into student-centered learning. The purpose of this study was to improve the professional competence of elementary school teachers through lesson study. This study uses a class action research design that has stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. This research was conducted at the target schools in the city of Dumai. The research subjects were 10 V-grade teachers taken from each of the target schools. The research instrument used observation sheets and interview sheets. The results of this study indicate an increase in the professional competence of elementary school teachers through lesson study with the percentage of the first cycle of 64% with enough categories to 82% with good categories. FRAKSI ETANOL DAUN SEMBUNG RAMBAT (Mikania micrantha Kunth) SEBAGAI ANTIINFLAMASI TERHADAP TIKUS PUTIH JANTAN GALUR WISTAR

Tanaman sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha Kunth) merupakan tanaman yang berasal dari family Anacardiaceae. Tanaman sembung rambat diketahui mengandung senyawa metabolit sekunder seperti alkaloid, flavonoid, saponin dan tannin. Flavonoid merupakan senyawa polifenol yang berfungsi sebagai antiinflamasi. Daun sembung rambat banyak mengandung flavonoid yang dapat berkhasiat sebagai antiinflamasi, antibakteri. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk melihat pengaruh fraksi etanol daun sembung rambat (Mikania micrantha Kunth) berpengaruh terhadap antiinflamasi terhadap tikus putih jantan galur wistar. Pada penelitian ini daun sembung rambat diekstraksi dengan cara maserasi menggunakan etanol 70%. Setelah didapatkan ekstrak selanjutnya dilakukan prosen fraksinasi. Dari fraksi yang didapat kemudian dibuat 3 varian dosis yaitu 112.5 mg/kgBB, 225 mg/kgBB dan 450 mg/kbBB. Dari 3 dosis tersebut dosis 450 mg/kgBB memiliki pengaruh yang lebih bagus daripada yang lain. Kontrol positif menggunakan Asetosal dan kontrol negatif menggunakan larutan CMC 1%. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa fraksi etanol daun sembung rambat dapat menghambat pembengkakan terhadap kaki tikus putih jantan galur wistar. Makin besar konsentrasi fraksi, maka semakin besar penghambatan bengkak pada kaki tikus. Dosis 450 mg/kbBB memiliki nilai rata-rata AUC - 8,22 mm.menit. Hasil analisis menunjukkan fraksi etanol daaun sembung rambat berpengaruh sebagai antiinflamasi terhadap tikus putih jantan galur wistar. Kata kunci : Mikania micrantha Kunth. ANALISIS KADAR KLORIN (Cl2) SEBAGAI PEMUTIH PADA RUMPUT LAUT (Eucheuma cottonii ) YANG BEREDAR di LAMPUNG

Seaweed (Eucheuma cottonii) is one of sea product which have promising economic value, because it can be used for carragenan manufactures. In industrial and commerce, carragenan can be used as ingredients for biotechnology, food, pharmacy and cosmetic industry. The purpose of this research is to determine chlorine contain in seaweed at the first and second submersions. There are nine samples of seaweed which are examined at UPTD Hall of Lampung Health Laboratory and Fharmacy Laboratory of UTB Lampung with using titration method. The results of chlorine content on nine seaweed samples at the first immersion in A sample of 0.027%, in sample B of 0.019%, in sample C of 0.034%, in sample D of 0.008%, F samples of 0.079%, samples H by 0.027%. In sample E, sample G and sample I when analyzed there is no chlorine content. The content of chlorine on the second immersion is in sample A of 0.019%, in sample B of 0.015%, in sample C of 0.03%, in sample D of 0.008%, and F sample 0.057%. PENGELOLAAN KEGIATAN LITERASI DI SMP NEGERI 5 MAJENE

Abstrak Program literasi di SMP Negeri 5 Majene ini, tentu berpengaruh terhadap kualitas pendidikan pada setiap mata pelajaran. Mutu proses pendidikan di SMP Negeri 5 Majene berada dalam tataran sedang dan cenderung sama dengan keadaan sebelum-sebelumnya hal ini bisa dilihat dari proses pendidikan di lingkungan sekolah. Jika dilihat dari proses pembelajaran, banyak siswa yang masih kurang berminat untuk membaca buku teks pelajaran, sehingga menyulitkan siswa dalam memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh guru. Disamping itu sikap tanggung jawab, keaktifan dan juga kedisipinan dari siswa dirasa kurang terutama dalam proses pembelajaran. Fokus dalam penelitian ini adalah (1) mengetahui perencanaan program literasi di SMPN 5 Majene; (2) mengetahui pengorganisasian program literasi di SMPN 5 Majene; (3) mengetahui pelaksanaan program literasi membaca di SMPN 5 Majene; (4) mengetahui evaluasi program literasi di SMPN 5 Majene; dan (5) mengetahui faktor pendukung dan penghambat program literasi di SMP Negeri 5 Majene. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah bersifat deskriptif kualitatif dengan tujuan untuk mendeskripsikan tentang bagaimana pengelolaan literasi yang meliputi perencanaan, pengorganisasi, pelaksanaan, evaluasi dan faktor pendukung dan penghambat program literasi di SMP Negeri 5 Majene. Teknik pengumpulan data, dengan menggunakan metode triangulasi yang meliputi teknik (i) wawancara mendalam (ii) observasi dan (iii) dokumentasi. Program literai dengan tahapan perencanaan adalah mempunyai program jangka panjang 5 tahun dan jangka pendek, Pengorganisasian mempunyai struktur organisasi tersendiri yang berjalan dengan baik, Pelaksanaan kegiatan literasi adalah kegiatan literasi membaca dan dilanjutkan dengan literasi menulis, dengan membuat kesimpulan dari apa yang dibaca yang kemudian hasil dari tulisannya tersebut dipresentasikan dikelas, evaluasi hanya untuk mengevaluasi peserta didik yang waktu evaluasinya seminggu sekali, faktor pendukung memiliki sarana dan prasarana yang memadai dengan ketersediaan buku yang beraneka ragam, dan fakor penghambatnya adalah keterlambatan siswa datang ke sekolah serta kurangnya motivasi baik dari diri siswa maupun dari luar siswa. Pekerja pertolongan kecelakaan penerbangan dan pemadam kebakaran (PKP-PK) merupakan pekerjaan dengan resiko stres kerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui hubungan antara beban kerja dan karakteristik individu yaitu masa kerja, pendidikan dan pelatihan, status pernikahan dengan stres kerja pada pekerja pertolongan kecelakaan penerbangan dan pemadam kebakaran (PKP-PK) Bandara Internasional Minangkabau. Metode Jenis penelitian adalah kuantitatif dengan studi observasional analitik menggunakan desain cross sectional. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di Bandara Internasional Minangkabau dari bulan Februari - April 2016 dengan populasi sebanyak 42 orang. Sampel penelitian adalah seluruh pekerja pertolongan kecelakaan penerbangan dan pemadam kebakaran (PKP-PK) yang memenuhi kriteria inklusi yaitu 30 orang. Data dianalisis menggunakan uji statistik chi-square dengan derajat kepercayaan 95%. Hasil Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa beban kerja memiliki hubungan signifikan dengan stres kerja p value 0,000. Sedangkan karakteristik individu seperti masa kerja, pendidikan dan pelatihan, status pernikahan tidak memiliki hubungan dengan stres kerja. Kesimpulan Beban kerja yang berat memiliki hubungan dengan stres kerja sedang (100%). Disarankan kepada Dinas PKP-PK agar menyesuaikan beban kerja dengan kemampuan dan kapasitas kerja pekerja untuk menghindari beban kerja berlebihan maupun beban kerja yang terlalu ringan.
