    Kefahaman membaca adalah salah satu aspek dalam pengejaran dan pembelajaran bahasa yang masih menjadi kegusaran dalam kalangan guru dan murid. Murid didapati tidak dapat menjawab soalan-soalan dengan baik, terutama bagi soalan-soalan inferens. Murid gagal memahami kandungan teks akibat kurang upaya menganalisis teks dengan teliti. Kajian Pengajaran ini melibatkan murid Darjah 5 dan bertujuan untuk meningkatkan kemahiran murid menganalisis teks naratif melalui kaedah W.P.S. Kaedah W.P.S. yang selaras dengan Taksonomi Bloom telah didedahkan kepada murid sepanjang kajian ini.Kajian ini diusahakan untuk menggilap kemahiran murid membaca dengan lebih berkesan. Murid didedahkan kepada langkah-langkah untuk membantu mereka mengenal pasti watak-watak dalam cerita dan menyusun peristiwa-peristiwa yang terkandung dalam cerita. Dapatan kajian menunjukkan bahawa kaedah W.P.S. telah membantu guru mengajar kemahiran menganalisis teks naratif dengan lebih berkesan dan berjaya membantu murid menjawab soalan-soalan inferens

    It is undeniable that website has become an important element in the life of nowadays generation. As the website become more sophisticated, likewise the security threats that the website poses. One of them is website defacement in which unauthorized person changes the visual appearances of the website for various intention. Some are only for fun and hacking skill-testing, but worst case, it can be cause further severe security damages. It can be said that website defacement can causes security threats to a website and also can damage the reputation of the website owner. This is very bad especially for businesses-website because the website portray their public face. Usually, website administrator or website owner get the information about their website being deface too late, making public already see the messages or images on their defaced website which can humiliate and lower down their reputation. That is why, a website defacement detector is a must to be developed to monitor the website at a specific time interval and alert the website admin through email as soon as the system detected any unauthorized changes. Therefore, the target user for this application is the website admin and website owner. The approaches that will be implemented in this project are whether anomaly detection technique or hash tags comparison technique. The approach is not yet decided as this research study is yet to test on both approaches. Besides that this research study has conducted data collection such as interview, document studies and website defacement patterns observation. The results will help this research study to further develop a system that fulfills the requirements that a website admin or website owner might ask

    A Study of Some Community Water Supply Problems in Wilayah Persekutuan

    This study was carried out to examine the various sources of water which are being used by residents in squatter settlements around Kuala Lumpur. The results showed that piped water from the public stand-pipes was used primarily Jar drinking and cooking purposes but water from other sources was also collected to augment their water supply jar use in washing, gardening, etc. An evaluation of the methods used Jar the collection and storage of water other than piped water, indicated that the system can be further improved to yield good quality water by adoption of appropriate technologies for household water treatment

    In Underwater Wireless Sensor Network (UWSN); the sensor node is responsible to extract the valuable application based information from underwater environment. The application based information covers the applications like: tactical surveillance, assisted navigation, disaster prevention, offshore exploration, pollution monitoring and oceanographic data collection. The design of routing protocol in underwater environment is one of the challenging issues for researchers. This research article focuses the designing issues of the data forwarding routing protocols based on single path. In this article the designing of 2D and 3D architecture of routing protocols are discussed with their different issues. This article also focuses the analytical approach of proposed routing protocols with different parameters, the simulation scenarios of the single path routing protocols with critical analysis; and the open research issues; will help the researchers to further research in the field of routing protocols for UWSN

    The perception of cooling roofs among professionals in Iran

    A large amount of energy in Iran is currently being consumed for heating and cooling purposes in buildings. Since building rooftop surfaces absorb most of the solar radiation, green roofs are among the solutions recommended by scholars. This study utilizes a survey amongst a targeted sample population of 40 built environment professionals to determine their perception on the use of green roof for environmental cooling purposes. They believed that green roofs could improve the ecology and the biodiversity of an urban area. Green rooftops are also believed to have the capability to reduce air pollution and urban heat island, and help reduce solar radiation and energy consumption in Iranian cities. The best choices for implementation include flat asphalt, flat concrete, and flat tile roofs. The study recommends further study on developing a green rooftop policy for Iran that would improve the quality of life for people living in cities of Iran

    A CHECKLIST OF FREE-LIVING MARINE NEMATODES AT DIFFERENT ECOSYSTEM IN NORTHERN STRAITS OF MALACCA, MALAYSIA

    Nematodes present in all substrates and sediment types with an enormous number of species. The studies on free-living marine nematodes are still limited in Malaysia. The present study provides general information on genus checklist of free-living marine nematodes in the northern part of Peninsular Malaysia in a different ecosystem which are intertidal zones of estuarine, sandy beach and mangrove ecosystems.  Samples were randomly collected at three stations in each ecosystem. A total of 34 genera (22 families and ten suborders) were recorded in three ecosystems. Each ecosystem had common genera which also commonly found worldwide. Viscosia genus was observed in all three ecosystems. The nematode genera of Estuary and mangrove ecosystems had greater similarities than those in the sandy beach

    The impact of micro credit on financial condition and socio-economic of women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh

    Bangladesh is an innovator and home of abstracting micro credit program. It has taken few programs to alleviate poverty and enhance the quality of life among poor people. The main purpose of this research is to examine the impact of micro credit on financial condition as well as the socio-economic factors of women entrepreneurs in Bangladesh. Quantitative research method is adopted in this research to answer all the research objectives. Overall 230 women entrepreneurs have involved in the survey conducted in this research. Based on descriptive analyses, it is found that micro credit does not significantly affected the borrowers’ financial condition and some of the socio-economic variable including social security, health consciousness, entrepreneurship, and education. This research gives input to the micro finance institutions especially in Bangladesh to develop potential products to increase the borrowers’ financial and economic condition which at the same time alleviating poverty in the country. Finally, it is also benefits the Bangladesh government to enhance the existing policy on financial matters towards enhancing standard of living among the society in Bangladesh.     Development of an Innovative Mango's Wrapper Tool

    This paper presenting a new design and development of an innovative and user-friendly tool by using mechanism of compression spring to wrap mango fruits in an efficient and systematic manner. The tool is capable to solve the problem faced by mango farmers or entrepreneurs during traditionally wrapping process. Previously, the wrapping process is handled manually by using paper wrapper and rope while ladder is sometimes used for tall trees. 30 mango fruits are picked for size sampling. The diameter for the mature mango fruits is within the range of 5.8cm to 7.9cm. The suitable casing size is determined to be 10cm in which 3.1 cm is the tolerance. The tool is designed by using SolidWork 2016. Later, tool fabrication process is carried out including cutting and joining the parts such as steel compression spring, paddle , cable and PVC pipe . The analysis is focused on the compression spring and the maximum force of 45.117N is applied on the pedal to pull the jaws while releasing the rubber band. Meanwhile, the tool is highly efficient and the time for the tool to wrap one mango fruit is 65 seconds compared to 190 seconds by way of traditional method. Significant saving in term of labor workforce is as much as 67% and the ratio of manpower requirements is reduced to 3: 1. Among the factors contributing to the saving are the used of 210cm long pole which eliminate the need of use a ladder. Lastly the tool is lightweight, convenience to use with minimum maintenance
