    In this study, it examines children with special needs and their problems. The problem experienced by one crew member was that parents did not provide education to ABK, parents abandoned ABK and also parents did not provide good service to ABK. Although parents receive ABK in the family, parents do not provide education for various reasons. One family does not provide education on the grounds that the school specifically ABK does not want to accept children with ABK with Palsy. The schools that want to accept children with special needs are far from their homes. This study aims to determine the problems experienced by ABK in the Water Fence Settlements of Ingin Jaya District, Aceh Besar District. This study uses a descriptive method with a qualitative approach. The results of this study the problems experienced by ABK are not properly educated, not taken care of as other children and neglected. But on the other hand, ABK has the potential and expertise even the potential it has exceeds other normal children. Parents in Islam are required or make sure their children are normal or not normal to not be weak children.     Language is a crucial aspect of our lives, serving as a bridge for communication among individuals. People use language to convey emotions, ideas, desires, and feelings. One platform for communication is WhatsApp. Many people enjoy chatting on WhatsApp, but not all of them grasp the meaning behind each utterance spoken or sent by the speaker or sender. Various linguistic aspects, including speech acts, can be explored on WhatsApp, such as pragmatics, semantics, and sociolinguistics. This study aims to analyze the factors that lead to misunderstandings when performing perlocutionary acts on WhatsApp and how locutionary acts influence perlocutionary acts on the platform. The research findings identify several causes of misunderstandings in the communication process through WhatsApp. Firstly, incorrect punctuation usage contributes to misunderstandings. Secondly, typographical errors are another common factor. Thirdly, incomplete sentences resulting from typing too quickly make it challenging to comprehend the intended message. Fourthly, issues such as poor network connectivity lead to only a fraction of the message reaching the recipient. Additionally, locutionary acts represent the literal meaning of a sentence. The conclusion of this research is the impact of locution on perlocution depends on how effectively locution can convey instructions or meanings of the spoken sentence. If the utterance is not well-understood by the listener, they may not execute or comprehend the intended meaning, leading to perlocutionary acts and miscommunication between the individuals involved

    Team Teaching Load using Linear Programming

    Assignment of teaching loads refers to the allocation of teaching hours among academic staff. It will be the ideal way to assign the right courses to the right staff based on their expertise, preference and experience. The common practice in this department to allocate the teaching load is done manually through trial-and-error using Microsoft Excel which is inefficient and time consuming. Moreover, the manual allocation may lead to bias judgement and get unfavourable courses among academic staff. Thus, this study aims to propose a teaching load allocation model which able to optimize the teaching quality. A primary data has been collected using google form among 25 lecturers with 13 courses considered. Then, a linear programming model was applied based on department policies as constraints in order to find an optimal solution. A feasible solution will be solved using LINGO optimization software and the model serves as a best tool to assist head of department to allocate teaching loads. It found that the model proposed is suitable to be employed for teaching load allocation in this department

    Nowadays, it is more important to be as efficient as possible. Most of the teaching institutions, one of the essential tasks that is carried out every year or every semester are to allocate teaching workload. Teaching workload allocation refers to the teaching staff teaches which subject and group classes. The task is a time-consuming process. The best allocation will be one of the contributing factors to the teaching quality. In current practice to this department, the teaching load allocates manually through a trial-and-error manner using Microsoft Excel. This may lead to unfavourable results. In this study, we aim to propose an innovative approach to allocate teaching load to group courses using integer programming which able to optimize the teaching allocation while satisfying the teaching staff preferences and based on department policies as constraints. Primary data were gathered using google form among 12 lecturers with 8 courses and 45 group classes considered. A feasible solution will be solved using LINGO unlimited software and the model serves as the best tool to assist the head of the department to allocate teaching workload. It found that the model proposes as a suitable tool to be employed for teaching allocation

    In vitro mass multiplication of Artocarpus heterophyllus Lam var. Tekam yellow

    A protocol for rapid micropropagation of Artocarpus heterophyllus from seeds of a single fruit was established. The seeds were successfully sterilised using 40% Clorox (20 min) + 20% Clorox (15 min) and 50% Clorox (20 min) + 20% Clorox (15 min). The survivability percentage was 44.44%, while the contamination percentage was 14.81%. Experiments to assess the effect of shoot tip and different node positions on shoot induction, and to test the effect of decapitation on shoot proliferation were performed. The explants used for both experiments were derived from 8-week-old seedlings grown in half-strength MS basal media supplemented with 2.5 mg/L BAP. There was no significant difference in terms of percentage of explants regenerating shoots and mean shoot number produced per explants. However, node 2 significantly produced the highest mean shoot length (2.53 cm). In the decapitation experiment, there was no significant difference in terms of percentage of explants regenerating shoots and mean shoot length. Nevertheless, decapitated shoots significantly produced the highest mean shoot number per explant (18.33). 2.5 mg/L BAP was chosen as the best treatment for shoot induction from seed with a mean shoot number of 7.33 and mean shoot length of 2.95 cm. For shoot multiplication, 1.0 mg/L BAP significantly produced the highest mean shoot number (17.13), while 5.0 mg/L BAP significantly produced the highest shoot length (2.95 cm). For rooting, IBA at 2.5 mg/L and 5.0 mg/L produced the highest mean root number at 18.73 and 17.27 respectively. The highest mean root length (3.37 cm) was significantly obtained in the control treatment. The plantlets were successfully acclimatised in a potting mixture consisting of top soil and organic soil (1:1) with 88.89% survival rate

    Road accidents are a major contribution in personal injury claims. The accident victims are allowed to claim a certain amount of damages from negligible parties. In Malaysia, courts adopt the traditional method of Multiplier-Multiplicand Approach to calculate the compensation amount. However, there is still no available tool to estimate personal injury claim with respect to loss of earning. This study aims to develop a flowchart for Personal Injury Claims (PIC) to calculate the compensation amount for loss of earning in Malaysia regarding the Ogden Table introduced by the United Kingdom. A flowchart is proposed and built using Microsoft Visio. The users will fill up the details displayed to get the estimated compensation amount. It is expected that claimants, courts and lawyers would be among the target users. To get started, nine elements as inputs will fill up by users. Then, there is three important processes involved in order to calculate the damages for loss of earning. In a conclusion, at the end of the session, the users will know their entitled amount of claim in loss of earning.

    Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) is one of the most popular languages for website development. Since its inception, many academic institutions have integrated the knowledge of HTML within their syllabus. However, previous research shows that many students are having difficulties to be proficient in HTML language. Several problems are identified; (1) lack of effective online content, (2) lack of supporting tool to code HTML, (3) portability issue of authoring software. Therefore, IM-Vative Sandbox was developed based on PHP Programming Language (PHP), MySQL Database, and jQuery. The sandbox provides real-time generation of HTML source codes; compared to the conventional method of using Notepad, Sublime, or any other authoring tools. In terms of commercialization, the application can be accessed through mobile and desktop and suitable for beginners who want to learn the basics of HTM
