    Empirical link between growth and remittance: evidence from panel data

    This study investigates the relationship between migrants’ remittances and economic growth for a panel of some Asian countries namely; Bangladesh, India, Pakistan and the Philippines. Panel unit root tests were conducted to check stationarity of data. Panel cointegration techniques are employed to examine the long run relationship between variables. Findings indicate long run positive relationship between the two variables meaning remittance inflow spur economic growth in these countries. However, use of remittances in more productive sectors such as infrastructure, education, health might contribute to reducing poverty in the short run in these countries especially in small economies like Bangladesh, Pakistan and the Philippines. Even large economy like India has every potential to be benefitted from remittance income and also from the reverse brain drain that started in India only recently

    Metode penelitian ini menggunakan Penelitian Tindakan Sekolah (PTS) dalam dua putaran atau dua siklus pada smester genap tahun pelajaran 2020/2021. Subjek penelitian adalah guru SD Negeri 08 Merapi, Kecamatan Sekadau Hilir, Kabupaten Sekadau berjumlah 10 orang guru dengan rincian 8 orang guru kelas dan 2 orang guru mata pelajaran. Tujuan penelitian tindakan sekolah ini adalah untuk meningkatkan kemampuan guru SD Negeri 08 Merapi dalam menyusun RPP melalui workshop. Adapun manfaat penelitian bagi siswa adalah untuk meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa dalam pembelajaran. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kemampuan guru dalam menyusun RPP pada pra siklus mencapai 30%, siklus I mencapai 70%, dan siklus II mencapai 90%. Dari pra siklus ke siklus I ada kenaikan 40%; dari siklus I ke siklus II ada kenaikan 20%

    :This study aimed to describe the view of al-Ghazali about how to view and interpret the text. The focus of the study was directed to the nature behind the term, examples of Sufi interpretation, and pedagogical reflection. The writer examined the text contained in Ihya Ulum al-Din and Misykat book. The results showed that al-Ghazali recommended to not just focus and stop at the term, but it also should explore the deepest meaning without ignoring the meaning of the term as a benchmark and a starting point. Sufi esoteric interpretations of the water in the QS 13/17 is ma\u27rifat, valleys mean the human heart, and spring called the Qur\u27an primordial. In the perspective of education, educators need to teach students not only the textual meanings of a text, but also the truth (philosophy) behind it
