Education management in Ukraine in the context of global economic transformations
The article identifies the features of the management of higher education in Ukraine and in Europe in the context of global economic transformations. In the process of analysis, it was determined that the financing of higher education in European countries is carried out almost equally: at the expense of the State budget and at the expense of individuals.
At the same time, the outflow of students from the CIS countries to European countries can be explained by the proposed concepts of providing educational services, the main difference among which consists, firstly, in orientation towards the needs of the state, and secondly, in orientation towards the needs of business structures and various market subjects.
It was also determined that the impact of economic factors on the level of education is rather low, and at the same time, this indicator largely depends on the indicator of the social capital.
In this regard, the following social trends have been identified that need to be implemented for the successful education management: expanding the population education program, as well as providing lifelong education, ensuring equal access to quality education, strengthening the role of the state in ensuring equity in education, efficient and effective use of education costs, humanization and democratization of education, updating the content, forms, methods and means of training, enhancing the professional competence of teachers, transparency of education systems, the formation of state-public forms of education management.peer-reviewe
Shot Noise in Mesoscopic Transport Through Localised States
We show that shot noise can be used for studies of hopping and resonant
tunnelling between localised electron states. In hopping via several states,
shot noise is seen to be suppressed compared with its classical Poisson value
( is the average current) and the suppression depends on the
distribution of the barriers between the localised states. In resonant
tunnelling through a single impurity an enhancement of shot noise is observed.
It has been established, both theoretically and experimentally, that a
considerable increase of noise occurs due to Coulomb interaction between two

Fluctuations and Dissipation of Coherent Magnetization
A quantum mechanical model is used to derive a generalized Landau-Lifshitz
equation for a magnetic moment, including fluctuations and dissipation. The
model reproduces the Gilbert-Brown form of the equation in the classical limit.
The magnetic moment is linearly coupled to a reservoir of bosonic degrees of
freedom. Use of generalized coherent states makes the semiclassical limit more
transparent within a path-integral formulation. A general
fluctuation-dissipation theorem is derived. The magnitude of the magnetic
moment also fluctuates beyond the Gaussian approximation. We discuss how the
approximate stochastic description of the thermal field follows from our
result. As an example, we go beyond the linear-response method and show how the
thermal fluctuations become anisotropy-dependent even in the uniaxial case.Comment: 22 page
Enhanced shot noise in resonant tunnelling via interacting localised states
In a variety of mesoscopic systems shot noise is seen to be suppressed in
comparison with its Poisson value. In this work we observe a considerable
enhancement of shot noise in the case of resonant tunnelling via localised
states. We present a model of correlated transport through two localised states

Measurements of the composition of aerosol component of Venusian atmosphere with Vega 1 lander, preliminary data
Preliminary investigation of mass spectra of gaseous products of pyrolyzed Venusian cloud particles collected and analyzed by the complex device of mass-spectrometer and collector pyrolyzer on board Vega 1 lander revealed the presence of heavy particles in the upper cloud layer. Based on 64 amu peak (SO2+), an estimate of the lower limit of the sulfuric acid aerosol content at the 62 to 54 km heights of approximately 2.0 mg/cu m is obtained. A chlorine line (35 and 37 amu) is also present in the mass spectrum with a lower limit of the chlorine concentration of approximately 0.3 mg/ cu m
Realization of Bose-Einstein condensates in lower dimensions
Bose-Einstein condensates of sodium atoms have been prepared in optical and
magnetic traps in which the energy-level spacing in one or two dimensions
exceeds the interaction energy between atoms, realizing condensates of lower
dimensionality. The cross-over into two-dimensional and one-dimensional
condensates was observed by a change in aspect ratio and saturation of the
release energy when the number of trapped atoms was reduced
Microbial Community and in situ Bioremediation of Groundwater by Nitrate Removal in the Zone of a Radioactive Waste Surface Repository
The goal of the present work was to investigate the physicochemical and radiochemical conditions and the composition of the microbial community in the groundwater of a suspended surface repository for radioactive waste (Russia) and to determine the possibility of in situ groundwater bioremediation by removal of nitrate ions. Groundwater in the repository area (10-m depth) had elevated concentrations of strontium, tritium, nitrate, sulfate, and bicarbonate ions. High-throughput sequencing of the V3–V4/V4 region of the 16S rRNA gene revealed the presence of members of the phyla Proteobacteria (genera Acidovorax, Simplicispira, Thermomonas, Thiobacillus, Pseudomonas, Brevundimonas, and uncultured Oxalobacteraceae), Firmicutes (genera Bacillus and Paenibacillus), and Actinobacteria (Candidatus Planktophila, Gaiella). Canonical correspondence analysis suggested that major contaminant – nitrate, uranium, and sulfate shaped the composition of groundwater microbial community. Groundwater samples contained culturable aerobic organotrophic, as well as anaerobic fermenting, iron-reducing, and denitrifying bacteria. Pure cultures of 33 bacterial strains belonging to 15 genera were isolated. Members of the genera Pseudomonas, Rhizobium, Cupriavidus, Shewanella, Ensifer, and Thermomonas reduced nitrate to nitrite and/or dinitrogen. Application of specific primers revealed the nirS and nirK genes encoding nitrite reductases in bacteria of the genera Pseudomonas, Rhizobium, and Ensifer. Nitrate reduction by pure bacterial cultures resulted in decreased ambient Eh. Among the organic substrates tested, sodium acetate and milk whey were the best for stimulation of denitrification by the microcosms with groundwater microorganisms. Injection of these substrates into the subterranean horizon (single-well push-pull test) resulted in temporary removal of nitrate ions in the area of the suspended radioactive waste repository and confirmed the possibility for in situ application of this method for bioremediation
Extended parametric resonances in nonlinear Schrodinger systems
We study an example of exact parametric resonance in a extended system ruled
by nonlinear partial differential equations of nonlinear Schr\"odinger type. It
is also conjectured how related models not exactly solvable should behave in
the same way. The results have applicability in recent experiments in
Bose-Einstein condensation and to classical problems in Nonlinear Optics.Comment: 1 figur
Nuclear dependence of the transverse single-spin asymmetry in the production of charged hadrons at forward rapidity in polarized , Al, and Au collisions at GeV
We report on the nuclear dependence of transverse single-spin asymmetries
(TSSAs) in the production of positively-charged hadrons in polarized
, Al and Au collisions at
GeV. The measurements have been performed at forward
rapidity () over the range of GeV and
. We observed a positive asymmetry for
positively-charged hadrons in \polpp collisions, and a significantly reduced
asymmetry in + collisions. These results reveal a nuclear
dependence of charged hadron in a regime where perturbative techniques
are relevant. These results provide new opportunities to use \polpA collisions
as a tool to investigate the rich phenomena behind TSSAs in hadronic collisions
